The story of this work, Ryu the Primitive Boy, follows a baby sacrificed as an offering who is accidentally found and raised by an ape-man who had lost his own child. When that ape-man—or foster parent—is killed by the carnivorous dinosaur Tyrannosaurus, the boy vows revenge against the Tyrannosaurus while simultaneously embarking on a journey to find his birth parents.

10:01Then, while building a campfire to gather ammunition in the bitterly cold snowy mountains, the iron sand on the mountain melts and he obtains an iron weapon.

10:20As Ryu and his friends climb the mountain cliff, Hakuno attacks them just as they are about to reach the top.
10:30Ryu is unable to turn back due to the cliff, so by fighting with an iron weapon, he finally succeeds in blinding Hakuno's left eye.
10:39Then, Shirano, who has lost his sight, begins to run wild and falls off a cliff, becoming immobile.
10:49Ryu then approaches Hakuno to finish him off, but he suddenly regains consciousness and attacks him, so he immobilizes him with a rope and finally stabs Hakuno in the heart with an iron weapon.
11:03Then, with a death cry, the giant body fell to the ground, and Ryu confirmed that it was dead, and shouted to Kitty and Kiba that he had avenged their death.
11:18Meanwhile, Taka and his friends have already arrived at the Kanak village and find Ryu's mother, Esta.
11:26He then sets the village on fire and, in the midst of the chaos, kidnaps Esta.
11:33The next day, when Ryu and his friends arrive at the village, they find it deserted and learn from an old woman who has collapsed that Esta has been kidnapped.
11:43However, while they were racking their brains over not knowing where it was, Tekedon sensed Esta's scent and led Ryu and the others in the direction of the scent.
11:55While Ryu and the others headed deeper into the snowy mountains, Taka and his friends had Esta restrained and were waiting for them.
12:03Seeing his mother tied up, Ryu enragedly tries to run up the mountain, but Taka causes an avalanche and tries to send Ryu into the valley below.
12:17After the avalanche stops, Taka approaches the bottom of the valley to see what happened to Ryu, but Ryu appears from hiding there, and a deadly battle between Taka and Ryu begins.
12:28As the battle rages, Taka gains the upper hand and tries to push Ryu into the valley with a stone spear attack, but Ryu turns his body just before the bottom and pushes Taka into the valley.
12:44As Ryu stands up, victorious from the battle, Esta, who has been freed from hostage status, rushes to him, and the father and son finally have a tearful reunion.
