00:00Ladies and girls, we have a special guest today.
00:02She's been performing for crowds for eight, since she was eight years old,
00:0512-year-old Taylor Swift.
00:11Hey, everybody, I'm Taylor.
00:12I'm going to be doing some songs for you guys tonight.
00:15I hope you guys are having a great time.
00:16Very early on, she just knew she was going to have to work hard.
00:23I mean, it depends on how far back we want to go.
00:25But it escalated from school play, theater group, karaoke nights.
00:35I'm going to be doing some songs for you guys.
00:38And I hope you guys are having a great time, because I sure am.
00:41Calling around to festivals and amusement parks
00:44to see if there was a spot for a little kid with a guitar
00:47and a couple of speakers.
00:50It was as basic as you can possibly imagine,
00:53dragging guitars through airports.
00:56Piling them into a rental car.
01:00Hit another city, another city, and just keep going.
01:07And she, from a very early age,
01:10always knew exactly how she wanted things to be.
01:14And she was always planning what her headline tour would be like.
01:18You know, I never heard her say the word fame or money.
01:26It was always just about the opportunity
01:29to go sing her songs
01:33and have everybody else singing those same words back to her.
01:36She would do these theaters,
01:41and they kept getting bigger and bigger
01:43and sold out faster and faster.
01:45So it was a gradual thing.
01:53But I don't think that when you are doing that,
01:58you ever, for a split second,
02:01take the time to think,
02:02it will become this.
02:03applause
02:17I'll see you next time.
02:47The European tour was so intense that, by the end, I was exhausted past a point that
02:57I can remember.
03:00So we need the break after Wembley to recharge not only our bodies, our energy, but our passion
03:11for giving that much every night.
03:16So that by the time we got back to the US, we were all just like fired up.
03:35Since we finished the massive European leg of the ARES tour, it's really just been trying
03:42to get back up to speed, being home.
03:49We have this two month break, we'll kind of regroup and catch our breath a little bit.
03:53Oh buddy, I'm taking care of my home life and then we'll get ready for the final push.
03:59I love traveling.
04:00I love my job.
04:01It's the best.
04:02And like everything's planned for us and then you get home and you're like, what do I do?
04:07And you have to learn how to schedule things for yourself again.
04:12So why I'm really excited for this break is so that I can sit right here and practice.
04:21I do live with my parents, my little brother and my grandma.
04:25I love coming home to them, getting like home cooked meals and stuff.
04:29I am eventually going to get my own apartment in LA.
04:36Definitely, for sure.
04:38It's a long time to be away.
04:41Rachel and I don't have children, but I mean, I went crazy how much I missed the dog.
04:47You know, just trying to get back into being a normal human and having a schedule and adulting.
04:55Trying to get life back together.
04:57It's four months.
04:58It's a long time to just check out and have fun, but come back to like, oh, reality, my
05:04car registration.
05:05Yikes.
05:06Love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this,
05:15love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this.
05:17Okay.
05:18Um.
05:20So we'll just start in show order and make it easy.
05:22Yeah, let's put on all the, you know, if you want, we can take these for a spin for
05:28the run through.
05:30Sunset.
05:31Hello, Miami.
05:32Yeah, this should be first probably.
05:35So pretty.
05:38Nostalgia is a huge part of the Ares tour.
05:41If you were 12 years old during the red era, you're going to remember certain things that
05:47you saw and certain things that you felt.
05:49It's my job to bring those feelings and those visuals back to you.
05:54Wardrobe is one way to do that.
05:55Oh, I love it.
05:56Oh, I'm so excited.
06:01The costume design for the Ares tour was undertaken by my longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell.
06:06He's been with me since I was 16.
06:12The Ares tour is all about the fans, you know.
06:16The reason I'm able to do my job so well is because I am a fan too.
06:25I love the organic way that Taylor and I work.
06:28It's like this secret language that we have.
06:31She would send me images.
06:32She'll be like, ooh, send me an image.
06:35And I'm like, aha.
06:36Wow.
06:37I saw Epiphany last night.
06:38You did?
06:39And I pulled about 50 different pictures from online.
06:42Nice.
06:43For the acoustic set.
06:44Awesome.
06:45I want it to be all 50s dresses.
06:47For the tour, we chose to be a little reflective and sentimental and tie in the designers who had
06:54been with Taylor from the beginning.
06:59I mean, dancing all night, yeah, my feet ache, but I'm wearing Louboutins.
07:03Like, it is a privilege for these feet to ache like this.
07:08This was designed by Roberto Cavalli.
07:10She puts it on in the dark on stage.
07:12The Magic of Velcro.
07:13The video for 22, I remember it like it was yesterday.
07:17Reputation.
07:18These strips are all sequined by hand.
07:21Cavalli, 1989.
07:23I remember meeting with Versace in Milan, and I was like, oh my gosh.
07:28When you see the Versace bodysuit, just made of all these crystals, and the light hits
07:35it, and it's just...
07:36Oh, my God.
07:37Ooh.
07:38I'm so obsessed with this.
07:40This is my new favorite, for sure.
07:42It somehow, like, heals me from having the stomach flu.
07:46It can take me from being utterly exhausted.
07:50I'm just like, nope.
07:51If I'm wearing this, I got to level up.
07:53I got to be on the level of this outfit.
07:56So here's another option of the coat.
08:01It's less overtly military, you know?
08:04When I start working on something with tea, you want to try the white one?
08:10I'm only thinking about the effect that it has on her.
08:14Oh, my God.
08:16That's amazing.
08:18Until I step into a stadium, and I'm, like, blown away.
08:27My reputation's never been worse, so you must like me for me.
08:31Thousands of people dress in a way that reflects one of Taylor's looks.
08:36Dive off on the east side, where you at?
08:38Falling lights at my nightstand in the black.
08:41Come here, you can meet me in the back.
08:43And they use tape, they use stones, they use whatever.
08:47I am a lover.
08:48She has an outfit with, like, a lot of rainbow fringe.
08:50That's kind of where this came in.
08:53The commitment the fans have is beyond the music.
08:59There's a connection on a deep soul level with Taylor.
09:03During her New Jersey concert, Taylor debuted a new dress in this beautiful burgundy.
09:08Again, like the jacket.
09:10I really love this one.
09:11Is it cool that I said all that?
09:15The costumes generally mean a lot, but reputation was monumental.
09:23Is it cool that I said all that?
09:25Is it too soon to do this yet?
09:27Cause I know that it's dead like it.
09:30My favorite part of the show is the reputation set.
09:34My mom made this outfit from scratch.
09:35I have, like, a reputation bodysuit inside.
09:37Like, it turns into a bodysuit.
09:39I'm a reputation girl, of course.
09:44Taylor Swift's most iconic outfit on the heiress tour is, of course, this never-changing reputation bodysuit.
09:52Which we've only gotten one the entire 131 shows.
09:55What we're waiting for right now is to see if Taylor Swift is going to come out with a new reputation outfit.
09:59Is it just the same?
10:00Same outfit.
10:01Yeah.
10:02We were clowning.
10:03We keep waiting for a new reputation bodysuit just for funsies.
10:09If she were to have a new reputation bodysuit, what would you want it to look like?
10:16This is the new one.
10:17This is the new one.
10:18Yeah.
10:19Oh, it doesn't look bad at all.
10:26No, it does.
10:27It does.
10:28See this?
10:29It's got to come up.
10:30It has to come up because they think my boobs are here, but they're here.
10:34You know?
10:35The original catsuit was made from a different fabric.
10:39That was all the fabric that there was in the world.
10:41So we had to recreate the fabric for the second one and for this one.
10:45I know what you mean.
10:46Yeah, it's just really annoying and I have to do really athletic shit in this.
10:49We thought we could fix it because there was no time for them to actually recreate a new one in time for Miami.
10:55They couldn't do it.
11:11Yeah.
11:12Slick!
11:17Oh!
11:18And you have a piece.
11:19Slick!
11:23Womp womp.
11:24No.
11:25I've never done that before.
11:29Dude, that was great.
11:31I'm going to get one last time.
11:35This is the tour gift wall where at the end of each tour we get a plaque thanking us for the, you know, for participating in the tour.
11:44This was my first tour with her and I started with Taylor in 2009.
11:49In the trajectory of my professional life and career, yeah, that's probably the zero to 60 right there.
11:57Strapped onto that rocket and have been able to do all of this with her, which is great.
12:02Remember this?
12:04It was her first birthday present from Taylor.
12:13It's got a little photo of mommy and Sophie, daddy and Sophie and then Miss Taylor, as she calls her.
12:22Yes, Miss Taylor.
12:23We had both our kids while I was working for her.
12:26So she was kind of around both of the births and I think that this was the first child.
12:32Yeah, it was the first kid born while in the band.
12:34Yeah.
12:35And so, yeah, I think it was a special moment.
12:38Yeah.
12:39It's so wonderful being able to carry a professional family with you as you go through phases of life, as you go through ups and downs and heartbreaks.
13:01There is such a special bond among the touring family.
13:05It's like having another family.
13:07There are the only other people really in the world who know what this is like.
13:11Before the show, after the show, on the off days, we are like this and that's not normal.
13:20It's like she's handpicked these incredible people to be a part of this family.
13:28Most of the people I'm out here on the road with have known me since high school.
13:34But also, there are people that I just got to know in this phase of my life.
13:45Jeslyn is one of the most talented, resilient, loving people I've ever been around.
13:52She was the newest addition to our backup singers.
13:55I started with her reputation.
13:57I had never done a stadium tour before.
14:00And so the first show was just like,
14:03Whoa, this is a lot of people.
14:05We've been singing together for a couple of years.
14:08And when Jeslyn got sick, it was the first blow that the tour family experienced emotionally.
14:18It was like completely unfathomable to us.
14:23Sucks.
14:27While on tour, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
14:34And obviously, it was devastating.
14:38But every weekend, we had a show.
14:40So I still flew to the next city, did a show with everyone.
14:44And like in the middle of the week when we weren't doing shows,
14:47I would fly back to L.A. and just have biopsies and just poked and broaded
14:51to learn really what I had to do treatment-wise.
14:54And then hopped back on stage and pretended like nothing was happening.
14:59I'll never forget when she told us.
15:02Everyone was just in shambles.
15:05And it's the not knowing.
15:08When I let Taylor know, she came storming in with hugs and crying and just saying,
15:14I'm so sorry.
15:15And her mom said, you just take care of you and we'll be here when you're ready.
15:23So six months, I had to like take off and go through chemo, surgery.
15:30I had edema, I had like skin issues.
15:35I usually have all this curly hair.
15:41I lost about 75% of my hair.
15:44I felt and looked completely different.
15:47And just kind of watch my friends on live streams in the show.
15:53It was a hard one because we got to come be together for months.
15:59We love you, Jess.
16:00We miss you.
16:01We love you, Jess.
16:02She was home by herself.
16:04I miss you.
16:06Isolated from the family.
16:09We just wanted her to know that no matter what, under any circumstances,
16:14if she wanted to come back, she could.
16:22Goodbye, treatment.
16:25I said, how quickly can I get back on tour after I'm done with radiation?
16:30My doctor said, that night.
16:32But you have to get back into shape.
16:37She literally finished radiation and got on a plane.
16:41I actually have a video of when we saw each other at the hotel.
16:44Just coming back to this joy-filled show and these people just emphasized even more how much we're a family.
16:57I cannot believe that she was back in a few months.
17:12The will to come back and do the hardest show ever, none of us could believe it.
17:18I still can't.
17:19I still can't.
17:20I'm done.
17:21I don't know.
17:22We're ready.
17:23We're ready.
17:24We're ready.
17:29We're ready.
17:31We're ready.
17:32Nice.
17:43Backed out.
17:48All right, you just keep your body still.
17:53In no way do I ever apply this to my, at any point in the show.
18:00I just want to flag that as I do every time I have to do pull-ups.
18:03Five, here we go.
18:07And 12, that's it.
18:11Strong dislike, two thumbs down.
18:14You have gotten stronger on this throughout the years.
18:17It's from all the kind of tough rage and resentment I have for them.
18:19So you leave on Thursday night, right?
18:23Thursday morning, go there, do a full run through in the stadium,
18:28which I'm really excited about with costumes.
18:31I want to be like back in it so much that I can like not be so,
18:35like remember your stuff that you don't want to forget.
18:39Like, you know, you don't want to see me do this without a rehearsal.
18:43That's what you don't want.
18:44Yeah.
18:47There are a lot of things that we pulled off on this tour that I've never even attempted
18:51on past tours.
18:53I think the longest show I ever did before was two hours and 15 minutes.
18:59I never would have believed you if you would have told me we would be doing a three and
19:01a half hour show.
19:03There we go.
19:04Now, saying that is one thing.
19:07Doing that physically is another.
19:09Eleven.
19:10I've never worked out this much in my life.
19:12It's horrible.
19:13I think I'm too late.
19:16Got nothing in my brain.
19:20I really had to up my game in terms of physical training.
19:24Six months ahead of my first rehearsal, running on the treadmill every single day at the tempo
19:31of the songs that I was playing while singing them out loud.
19:37You just don't want them to see you panting.
19:411989 and reputation are very high cardio.
19:46Anything's hard when you're scaling a stage that goes the entire length of an NFL stadium.
19:52I think I run like eight miles in the show.
19:57Once we get to Miami, the turnaround time from landing and performing will be very short.
20:04We leave in six days, haven't played the show in a couple months, and there are some things
20:10I want to make sure that I don't mess up.
20:13My ex-man brought his new girlfriend.
20:15She's like, oh my god.
20:17I'm just gonna shake into the fellow over there with the hella good hair.
20:21Why don't you come on with me, baby, let me shake, shake, shake.
20:33All right.
20:39Oh, we are so back.
20:43Nice.
20:45Can I do a video, like, out in the stadium
20:50with my cat?
20:51Yeah.
20:52We'll find a place out in the stadium, but it'll be, like, me walking in with my cat,
20:57just, like, take my sunglasses off.
21:00And, like, so it would be behind me.
21:02Okay.
21:03And then once I stopped, start going around me like this.
21:07Okay.
21:08It's basically like we're back in the office.
21:09Yeah.
21:10You know?
21:11Yeah, yeah, for sure.
21:12And I've got my most well-behaved cat for it.
21:24She is my best one.
21:26Oh.
21:27What an idiot.
21:28Oh, shirts on backwards.
21:29I knew something looked weird.
21:33It's wild being back.
21:34So it's lots of hugging, telling the same story, like, 50 times as far as what you've been up to over the break.
21:45It's awesome.
21:46It's awesome to be back.
21:47It doesn't feel like work.
21:48Florida.
21:49One, two, three, four, one.
21:51We are starting our last leg of this tour.
21:54We have 18 more shows left, which is very bittersweet.
21:58It's very sad.
22:07We're cramming.
22:08Yeah, cramming for the test at Miami Stadium.
22:11I'm a little nervous, but, but, you know, it's because we want it to be good.
22:16Oh, man.
22:18Well, we'll see.
22:19We'll see what I remember.
22:23I keep thinking today is a show day.
22:25Huh?
22:26I keep thinking today is a show day.
22:27It is a show day.
22:28It is a show day.
22:29It is a show day.
22:30In my brain, it has to be a show day.
22:31I have got to, like, plan.
22:34I need to do a full run-through, because my brain just, it's like I can't remember a single part of the show.
22:40We should all treat tonight like a show day.
22:42Show day.
22:43Fitting time.
22:46What are you trying to do?
22:49Oh, when are you bringing out the rep?
22:52That's what I was about to say.
22:53Are we actually going to get to see it?
22:55I know.
22:56I'm like, I got really excited all of a sudden.
22:57I got to see if this can even happen, because they put my boob cups on my rib cage.
23:04Either way, I want to see it.
23:07It's so beautiful.
23:08It's not that beautiful the way it fits me now.
23:19Wow.
23:20They fit.
23:21Oh, my God.
23:22It fits.
23:23It fits.
23:24It fits.
23:25I don't know how you guys manage this.
23:28What if it's for her boobs?
23:29Oh, my God.
23:30Oh, wait.
23:31How does it fit so well?
23:34This is beautiful.
23:35I'm really glad they're here to document this, because they documented the other the other way.
23:40Oh, it's perfect.
23:43It is.
23:44Nothing's going to pop out.
23:45And look, it's like, it's in this.
23:47How is it in the right spot?
23:48Because Diana's a genius.
23:49You guys took the cups out?
23:50What happened?
23:53Oh, it's now my favorite.
23:55I didn't see this coming.
23:57Oh, my gosh.
23:58That looks amazing.
23:59I'm shocked.
24:02This, I don't know.
24:03I don't know.
24:04I don't know.
24:05I don't know how you did it.
24:07I truly don't.
24:10When I tell you guys that the bra was in a corset here, like a second row of others.
24:19Oh, I'm so excited.
24:20I'm so excited.
24:21I've never had an alternate outfit for the reputation section.
24:25Not once.
24:26People are going to lose their mind.
24:37As we were getting ready to go back into the shows again, Taylor was like, Mom, I'm really worried.
24:55I'm trying to go back in my mind and run through the show.
24:58And I get to certain spots and it just stops.
25:01And I said, don't worry about it.
25:04I said, you're going to get back on that stage and everything will come flooding back.
25:08I guarantee it.
25:10And I hoped that I was right, but I didn't know.
25:15Performing that show is incredibly technical and hard.
25:19This tour isn't kind of like, oh, we just fly by the seat of our pants around here.
25:23No, like we stage manage the shit out of this show.
25:29We're dealing with lots of production elements.
25:32Lighting, screen content, pyro, moving floors, confetti, costumes, choreography.
25:42There's so many moving parts and it has to be no mistakes.
25:47Perfect timing.
25:48There's a lot going on that happens really fast.
25:54A lot of fast cues from one end of the stage to the other.
25:59See piano lift up.
26:01Go.
26:02It's nerve-wracking.
26:033.3 UFO.
26:05Go.
26:08Go.
26:09Go.
26:11It takes a lot taking the right stuff out at the right times, so we all have to communicate well.
26:20We're always moving.
26:22The wings can be challenging.
26:25We have had incidences where they broke.
26:27If there's high winds, it gets really hard for them because it's super heavy.
26:31Cue 4301.
26:34Go.
26:40She's singing and having to engage and having to figure out what's coming next.
26:47She has some flexibility in where she might go, but there are some times when it's very exact.
26:53And if she's not standing in the right place, it's actually dangerous.
26:58I don't want to fall in a hole and I don't want to have, like, pyro go off on my head.
27:02I legitimately celebrate, like, every moment that something doesn't go wrong.
27:08Everybody is firing on all cylinders.
27:10I work in the wardrobe department, and I also am one of Taylor's dressers.
27:31There's two of us.
27:33Every outfit change is about a minute and 15 or less.
27:38Our fastest quick change, though, is 39 seconds with her in the room.
27:44Those quick changes are like nothing you've ever seen before.
27:50It is like watching a NASCAR race.
27:54How many quick changes does she have?
27:5620 quick changes.
27:58Our crew helped us build four quick change booths.
28:02From there, we kind of travel through the underworld of the stage.
28:06It's all very, very fast.
28:08We don't really have time for snags.
28:13It's very choreographed.
28:14Every second counts.
28:15Every millisecond counts.
28:17There were moments where I thought, I don't know if these costume changes are going to happen in time.
28:26I'm only off the stage for a maximum of two minutes at a time.
28:31Those transitions, it's like I'm going under the stage.
28:34I'm getting on a weird, like, pulley system.
28:37I'm getting pulled over here.
28:39Meanwhile, I'm unzipping my thing.
28:40I'm running upstairs.
28:41I'm going into a different quick change room on a whole different floor.
28:45I'm ripping this off.
28:46I'm putting this on.
28:48Stomp your feet three times.
28:49It's literally the most complicated system.
28:52You have no idea the panic of worrying you're not going to be dressed in time for the song to start.
29:00And it is that panic that drives me to never be late.
29:03I remember one time I was running from the Evermore era.
29:13I trip over the hem of my dress.
29:16Bust my knee.
29:18I skid the palm of my hand off.
29:23Hobble into the quick change room.
29:25Blood's coming down my hand.
29:27I'm changing into the reputation bodysuit.
29:29The skin that's flapping off.
29:31I just pull it off.
29:32More blood.
29:33They don't have a band-aid back there.
29:38Wasn't late.
29:40Wasn't late.
29:41For the intro of that song.
29:44The fans noticed it a couple days later.
29:46They're like, oh, her palms gone.
29:49I was like, I am not acknowledging this.
29:52What? Nothing's wrong.
29:53It's always been like that.
29:54I thought you said she might want to go back up.
29:56Doesn't matter.
29:57You guys, we need to help.
29:58Straight in.
29:59It was really good, but I made three mistakes that I'm so glad I made in a rehearsal.
30:03You know what I mean?
30:04Yeah.
30:05Can I talk to the dancers real quick about how I was supposed to fall off that thing?
30:09Because I've completely forgotten.
30:10Can you hold Balen for me?
30:11Yeah, she'll just remind me and I'll just do it right.
30:13Good.
30:14Going up.
30:16Jazz hands.
30:17Jazz hands.
30:18Jazz hands.
30:19Look at that full moon.
30:21So funny.
30:22It's gorgeous.
30:24Hi.
30:25Three mistakes in three, three and a half hours.
30:26That's not too bad.
30:27It's been way worse before.
30:28That's almost nothing.
30:29Way better than I thought it would be.
30:30Good job.
30:31My first mistake was.
30:32Yeah, tell me.
30:33Is it?
30:34Baby, let the games begin.
30:36Let the games begin.
30:37Let the games begin.
30:38Let the games begin.
30:39Let the games begin.
30:40Let the games begin.
30:41Let the games begin.
30:42Let the games begin.
30:43Let the games begin.
30:44Let the games begin.
30:45That's it.
30:46That's it.
30:47Yeah.
30:48I went too early.
30:49That's okay.
30:50Barely tell.
30:51What about your quiet treason?
30:52Yes.
30:53Yes, yes, yes, yes.
30:54And for a fortnight there, we were forever running to you sometimes.
30:58Okay.
30:59And then.
31:00Do you need me?
31:01No, I really, really, really do for this next part because I still cannot remember what happens
31:05for my fall for midnight rain.
31:07I'm so sorry.
31:08I'm so sorry.
31:09I'm so sorry.
31:10I'm so sorry.
31:11I'm so sorry.
31:12I'm so sorry.
31:13What happens for my fall for midnight rain?
31:16Which hand?
31:17I know that I go.
31:18He was sunshine.
31:19I was midnight.
31:20I think it's this one.
31:22I reach out.
31:23I can't remember.
31:24Sunshine.
31:25Yes, that's right.
31:26Do you want to try that one tomorrow?
31:28Just a lift.
31:29He was sunshine.
31:30I was midnight.
31:32Yes.
31:33That's it.
31:34I do want to try it.
31:35Yeah.
31:36Yeah.
31:37Just for good luck.
31:38Yeah.
31:39Absolutely.
31:40I just sometimes I get like a cat stuck in a tree.
31:43Yeah, but you haven't done it for two months.
31:45Ah!
31:46Yeah.
31:47It's going to be great.
31:50Good morning, South Florida.
31:51And we have that full moon.
31:53It is going to cause coastal flooding.
31:55We're also under wind advisory.
31:56We have winds expected to gust up to 35 miles per hour.
31:59And around 7 PM, Swifties.
32:00Heads up if you're headed to the concert.
32:02Hang on to your umbrella.
32:03Even the potential for downpours headed through the evening
32:05and tonight.
32:06John.
32:07Good to see you again.
32:08Good to see you again.
32:09Nice to meet you.
32:10Ryan.
32:11Hey, Ryan.
32:12Good to meet you.
32:13Quick review on what we're seeing for weather
32:15for these next few days.
32:16All right.
32:17Sounds good.
32:18The main concern pretty much for every day this weekend
32:21is going to be the winds.
32:22Today, we've already had gusts to around 30 across the area.
32:25Chances of wind gusts to around 35 miles per hour.
32:28I don't know what you guys have been seeing
32:31in the stadium itself, down in the bowl.
32:33We haven't seen anything over 20 in the last 24 hours.
32:36That's good to know,
32:37because it has been higher outside the bowl.
32:39Okay.
32:41The weather element of playing outdoor stadiums
32:44is at times delightful and exciting.
32:48At times, it is frustrating.
32:51At times, it is, feels really, really horrific.
32:56Looking at precipitation right now, it looks like,
32:59as you go on later in the day,
33:01the chances for showers start to increase.
33:03Like, that's how much crazy weather we've run into on this tour.
33:07This is the rainiest rain show that ever rain showed, ever, ever.
33:28So, weather components I don't enjoy.
33:35Extreme wind.
33:36Do not like it.
33:37Do not love it.
33:38Do not like to see the speakers doing this.
33:41Hate that.
33:42Don't want it.
33:43When you hear the word lightning,
33:45that's when we start having to really worry about postponements.
33:50We also have the lightning detection system.
33:53And this, you can come in here, monitor it.
33:56Come and go as you please.
33:58All right.
33:59We're good.
34:01Yep.
34:02Then you get situations where,
34:04sometimes, it's kind of wonderful.
34:07Just cinema.
34:09Just drama.
34:10Just, it adds to it.
34:12It adds to the show,
34:13if there aren't other weather situations at play.
34:20Hey.
34:21Did they want to go straight up to stage?
34:22Yes.
34:23For the fall? Yeah, let's go.
34:24Erica's with us.
34:31Oh, hello.
34:32Hi, hi.
34:33Hi, guys.
34:34Hey.
34:35All you do is you twist,
34:37and then they'll catch you.
34:39Okay.
34:40Easy.
34:41No matter which way you go,
34:42they're going to catch you.
34:43So, if by chance,
34:44you happen to lift your left,
34:46they're still going to get you.
34:47Okay.
34:48Okay.
34:49I will definitely do that.
34:50I always remembered Mike out.
34:51Yep, yep.
34:52Okay.
34:53Want to try him?
34:54Yeah.
34:55Okay.
34:56Okay.
34:57Cause he was sunshine,
34:58I was midnight.
34:59Beautiful.
35:00Yeah.
35:01That's what it was.
35:02Thanks, guys.
35:03Yeah.
35:04Sorry about that.
35:05No worries.
35:06See you later.
35:07The first song I'm going to do is,
35:17this is me trying,
35:19and then I'm going into daylight.
35:37I've been having a hard time adjusting.
35:54Had the shiniest wheels, now they're resting.
35:58Didn't know if you'd care if I came back.
36:01I have a lot of regrets about that.
36:05Pulled the car off the road to the lookout.
36:08Could have followed my fears all the way down.
36:12Maybe I don't quite know what to say,
36:15but I'm here in your doorway.
36:17I just wanted you to know,
36:20this is me trying.
36:23And I can still see it all in my mind.
36:37All the you, all the me intertwine.
36:40Once believed love would be black and white,
36:44but it's golden.
36:46And I can still see it all in my head.
36:50Back and far from New York sneaking in your bed.
36:54I once believed life would be burning red.
36:57But it's golden.
36:59Like daylight.
37:01Like daylight.
37:03Like daylight.
37:05Like daylight.
37:08Daylight.
37:10Cause I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you.
37:19I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you.
37:26Been sleeping so long in a 20 year dark night.
37:32But now I see daylight.
37:35I only see daylight.
37:38Daylight.
37:39Daylight.
37:40Daylight.
37:41Daylight.
37:42Daylight.
37:43Daylight.
37:44Yeah.
37:45I only see daylight.
37:47Daylight.
37:48Daylight.
37:49Daylight.
37:50Daylight.
37:51I just wanted you to know,
37:54that this is me trying.
37:57I just wanted you to know,
38:00that this is me trying.
38:04I love all of you guys so, so much.
38:19And I feel heard and seen and loved.
38:22And there's one thing I, I, I admire many things about you.
38:27But there's one thing that I'll never forget.
38:29Um, I came to your birthday last year.
38:32And I actually tripped on the sidewalk.
38:35I fell on my face, like in front of paparazzi that were outside.
38:41Cause I was dealing with side effects and stuff.
38:44But when you introduced me to everyone,
38:47you said, guys, this is Jesselyn.
38:50We sing together.
38:52I said, that's a way to put it.
38:57That's exactly what it is.
39:00No one, no one says that.
39:04And I think that's, it just says something about who you are and how humble you are and how you like to shed light on people.
39:14And like, make them feel bigger than they think they are.
39:19And in that moment, I needed that.
39:22It's never a me.
39:24It's always a we.
39:26And I think that it just makes me feel like,
39:29like we are the only we that will ever be on the biggest fucking tour in the world.
39:35Oh, that was beautiful.
39:46Now I'm ready.
39:47Woo!
39:48Woo!
39:49Go, go, go, go!
39:52Go, go, go!
39:54Go, go, go!
39:57Go, go, go, go!
39:58Go, go, go, go!
39:59Go, go, go, go!
40:00Go, go, go, go!
40:01Go, go, go, go!
40:02Go, go, go, go!
40:03Go, go, go, go, go!
40:04Go, go, go, go, go!
40:05Go, go, go, go, go!
40:06Go, go, go, go, go, go!
40:07Go, go, go, go, go!
40:08Go, go, go, go, go, go!
40:09Go, go, go, go, go, go!
40:10Go, go, go, go, go, go, go!
40:11Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!
40:13Go, go, go, go, go, go!
40:15Go, go, go, go, go!
40:17Oh
40:47As long as you only see
40:49Where are they here
40:52If you say a quote,
40:54why do you choose
40:56an album that had perpetuated
40:58What had happened is
41:00Make certain words
41:01Why were they here
41:03Will be found
41:04In the round
41:06Lord, we still let you die
41:07That you can find out
41:13Nope.
41:14It's been a long time coming, but it's you and me, that's my whole world
41:21They whisper down the hall when she's a bad, bad girl
41:24The whole school is falling fake like they play stupid games, yeah, stupid writers
41:44A good time coming, good, bad girl, not a bad girl, a gay character, or about her
44:35I'm very well aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control
44:50of.
44:51Oh my!
44:56Who is this?
44:58Good.
44:59So all I can ever do is say to myself, I'm going to use every tool in my toolkit.
45:11I'm going to paint with every single brush I've got.
45:14I'm going to be as detail oriented as possible.
45:16I'm going to try as hard as I possibly can to give these people everything that they want.
45:28But sometimes there's something that happens that's amazing.
45:34That's not something you can plan for and not something that you can manufacture.
45:39You know, it's like, there's still got to be some like magical, beautiful mystery to life.
45:57That's right.
45:58That's right.
45:59That's right.
46:00That's right.
46:01That's right.
46:02That's right.
46:03That's right.
46:05That's right.
46:07That's right.
46:08That's right.
46:09That's right.
46:10Ha, ha, ha, ha.
46:40Ha, ha, ha.
47:10Ha, ha, ha.
47:40Ha, ha.
48:10Ha, ha, ha.
