00:00Oklahoma, looking like they were going to crush Alabama, everyone on social media saying,
00:05oh, Alabama didn't deserve to be in the playoff.
00:07And then all of a sudden, they just stormed back down 17-0 to win 34-24.
00:12So that puts a stamp on a good season for Alabama.
00:15I think no matter what happens, honestly, Bill, moving forward, Ty Simpson threw for
00:19232 yards and two touchdowns.
00:22And the two largest blown leads in college football history now belong to Oklahoma.
00:28That loss that they had to Georgia many years ago, and then, of course, the loss that they
00:31had the other day.
00:33So as we talked about last week, one team was not going to feel good after this game, unfortunately
00:39for the Sooners, losing in Norman.
00:40That's a tough one to swallow.
00:42No, and here's the interesting thing.
00:45I said Alabama had to avoid the turnovers.
00:48They did.
00:48I also said they had to run the ball.
00:50They really didn't.
00:51And to be able to come back and have the big plays, the blocked punt, the pick six before
00:56halftime, and then Ty Simpson being under control in the second half, I think you just said
01:01it, it eliminated this narrative that, hey, Kaelin DeBoer may be going to Michigan because
01:06they were down 17-0 to, they become an interesting team in the Rose Bowl game against Indiana, especially
01:13with that spread being where it's at.
01:16You know, Alabama, it's not going to be a talent thing against Indiana.
01:18It's going to be an execution thing.
01:20But if they can't run the ball against the Hoosiers, these same things will probably
01:25pop up.
01:25Indiana, similar defense to Oklahoma, a lot of tackles for loss, a lot of havoc they create
01:30on that side of the ball.
01:31And I think their offense is a little bit better around Fernando Mendoza, but can't count
01:36the tide out in this stage.
01:37They've been there plenty of times, and Kaelin DeBoer is pretty good against ranked teams.
