00:11We've got news across all Dying Light games, so let's jump straight in, starting with Dying Light the Beast.
00:20Update 1.5, the scariest so far, is now live. And with it comes the Nightmare Mermaid.
00:27This is the toughest difficulty level ever added to the series, an experience built for players looking for true tests of survival.
00:34Enemies are smarter and more dangerous. Both humans and infected use heightened senses, react faster, and punish mistakes aggressively.
00:45Resources are limited, so managing them becomes critical, and some Dark Zones can now contain Volatiles even during the day.
00:53Speaking of Volatiles, we also introduce a new type of the iconic monster, the Alpha.
00:58It is the most powerful infected in Castor Woods, and the most intelligent Volatile we have ever created.
01:05It can hunt you across the map, track your scent, and ignore the UV lights from your flashlight, making nighttime gameplay even more tactical and tense.
01:14The Nightmare experience also adds new survival mechanics.
01:18The Hunger system affects stamina, health regeneration, and combat effectiveness.
01:24Starvation drains your strength, turning every encounter into a desperate gamble.
01:30The longer you don't eat, the stronger the penalties become. And yes, you can die of hunger.
01:35We have also changed the logic of the flashlight. As the battery runs slow, it now dims and flickers.
01:42Completing the game in Nightmare, as well as defeating some of the bosses in that mode, gives you exclusive rewards, including charms, a special outfit, and a new vehicle skin.
01:54Now, let's head to Villedor, as your favorite event, Gifts from Above, is back.
02:03As you play the event, you will encounter the classic holiday zombies.
02:07Nautibiters, Virals, Bolters, Uncle Snows, and Ice Spitters.
02:11Take them down, collect holiday candies, bring them to Bakka, and you'll be able to trigger Santa's airdrops with rewards dropping straight from the sky.
02:21This year, you can win the Murderous Helper outfit, new weapons, and a set of holiday-themed weapon charms for completing community goals.
02:31Another addition is a new type of offering in our store, the Evolving Bundle.
02:36These bundles include weapons, outfits, and cosmetic items that evolve into more exclusive versions as you complete quests and challenges attached to them.
02:47The first bundle of that type is the Nightwolf, which evolves into the Crimson Werewolf.
02:52As you complete a four-part questline, you can get two versions of a unique rifle, two outfits and sets of gear pieces, and two paraglider skins.
03:02The bundle also contains the Wolf's Claws, melee weapon, and an exclusive grappling hook.
03:08And of course, the holidays are coming to the OG Dying Light as well.
03:16Haran celebrates the winter season with the classic Super Crane Saves the Holidays event.
03:22Collect gifts across the city, deliver them to Quartermasters, face mischievous seasonal enemies, and win the Santa's Helper outfit and additional rewards.
