01:36aoki makes for a great model she just has the biggest craziest hair and she has the longest legs
01:43she was on the cover of september teen vogue which is like the biggest thing in the business
01:48yoki's just a vision yoki these are magnificent that was so fun i feel like you
01:53it's so great to be in the same industry as my mom i love it because she's a reason i'm in the industry
01:59she involved us in her career a lot because she was a young mom a young businesswoman a young woman
02:03fashion like she made it look so cool so it's always nice when she approves of my work i'm gonna
02:09use this as my campaign yay job well done thank you so about my compensation uh-huh job well done
02:17completed no no no no absolutely not your compensation will be more like an allowance like mommy allows you
02:27to exist in the world and when the kids model for baby fat lots of times it's for free because
02:32i pay all the bills so at least they can take some pictures for me mommy allows you to eat her food
02:39those aren't like great job benefits to be honest however just because you're modeling and doing all
02:46of this stuff now like i remember when i was younger and i started with modeling i always kept thinking in
02:51the back of my mind like what's next how do i get out of here modeling won't always be there forever
02:57you guys have to always think of something else for me that was clothing it was baby fat building a
03:02lifestyle brand i was in an industry that judges you by just like how you look but what happens if
03:07you don't look great so now you don't get the job that used to scare me so much so i've told my kids
03:13they need to have something other than modeling having something for yourself you know owning something
03:18creating something what do you have that you're working on yoki i'm 3d printing a few different
03:24beauty tools and things okay i love it i built a neural network the other day too
03:29huh a neural network it's a neural it's like an artificial intelligence it's a brain basically you
03:36like it's a data structure you're so cute yoki thank you yoki is such a uniquely different person
03:43the genius thing she's got it political science i got it double degree from harvard i got it got
03:48into school early she got it me and my sister are very competitive i could have gotten into harvard
03:53but i didn't even apply i know this is not true because i don't think ming is very academically
03:59inclined there's no way well mom you know that i've been doing boulangerie well it's body care
04:05so it's body mist body lotion body shimmery i am a creative director and co-founder of boulangerie
04:12i wanted to start this brand because the number one thing that people say to me is how soft i am
04:17and how good i smell and i'm not even lying so i was like i don't know why i wouldn't just formulate
04:21my own scents we're really close to launching like we've almost finished most of the packaging
04:27the bottles the formulation it's all like done also i don't think i told you but i do have a dinner
04:31coming so it's like a launch party yeah it's like a launch day so naoki you have to come before you
04:37leave you smell amazing thank you what are you wearing can we have boulangerie vanilla i'm always
04:42wearing vanilla i was gonna say you smell like a dessert oh i just always want to smell sweet and

04:54to see what we're gonna get for my girls because they're more than capable and they can do it

06:29you do you want the ingredients though on these colors or do you want them on the cream probably
06:33on the cream so it's so close that you can't use in the background and then i want to make them like
06:36wet yeah like we'd spray it with a spray bottle like sexy like wet trippy strawberries we are
06:41finally shooting the content that we need for socials and the website i don't want to post
06:45anything with bottles in it before the launch date but i want to post stuff so i want to post
06:49like ingredients so that no one really knows what it is but when it comes out it's like oh it's this
06:53yeah yeah i'm actually a really bad chronic online shopper so i just want to mimic something that would
06:59make me buy something
07:00i like this well i was going to talk to you about the dinner i know everything is happening very quickly
07:10now yeah for the lingerie we're going to have a dinner to launch the product and that's really
07:14exciting because it's my first brand dinner that i'm putting together i don't think i told you but
07:17i do have a dinner coming up so it's like a launch party yeah it's like a launch thing oh there's a
07:22color palette though you have to wear exactly what i say okay it's gonna be my first time that i'm
07:26showing a lot of my close friends and my mom my family what exactly i've been working on a lot of them
07:31i don't know but they haven't seen it so i'm really excited hi honey i'm gonna try to reach you for two days i thought i thought you were playing

08:02this team is amazing but without my mom and my sister and i feel like i actually am able to like
08:05say something and it looks like how i want to be honest you have a better aesthetic than most people
08:10like you can say it i have a better aesthetic than my sister i mean most people on the planet you have a
08:14great aesthetic so i'm like really excited you're gonna i'm excited i think this is gonna go really

09:22two weeks i'm never going to want to stop traveling but i realized i need to share a little bit more
09:28about my trips this is very key for my mom i got a gps tracker so that you know where my backpack always
09:34is i don't really care as much about the backpack as i care about your body are you alone no you're not
09:39going to go back no i have friends i have friends no you're lying i met them in vietnam so there could
09:46be killers no we are bungee jumping they're cool yoki we don't don't go bungee jumping i already did it

10:01her specialty i didn't know she was making friends with all the backpackers so i do worry about her

17:29the dress code is to dress in the colors of the brand this goes back to me wanting to make content
17:33because i want all the videos to look cohesive i want there to be a very specific dress code and
17:37if you don't follow it then you can't sit down do you have like a face lotion too or you don't do
17:43skincare i feel like everybody does skincare that's true too like nobody wants their body to be solved we
17:47just want our faces to look good in 20 years we're gonna be like why don't we take care of our body

19:19is excited about the product

19:30and so this is my job and i've been developing this for a little over a year and i'm really really excited
19:36that it's finally coming out and i'm really happy that all of you guys came because i only invited
