05:20I have always been into anime and manga.
05:24And I found a magazine called Shoujo Beat, like magical girl stories.
05:29And in the back of one of the magazines was actually an advertisement for an Americanized Lolita brand.
05:35And my sister and I fell in love with the designs because of the adorable cupcake shape.
05:40And just how much it embraced femininity while also being modest at the same time.
05:44I'm basically a living cupcake now, I feel like.
05:47Anything rainbow, anything pink, I'm gonna wear it.
05:50So hyper femme, super frilly, super colorful.

06:23But I still kind of adhere to those rules typically in my coordinates.

06:30So if I was gonna try a celebrity style, I think I would like to try to look somewhat like her.
06:35She always seems to be able to just walk around casually, dance in her pumps.
06:40And I love her slick back ponytail.
06:43She focuses more on minimalism.
06:45And my style focuses far more on maximalism.
06:49So I think it'd be fun to try something on the opposite side of the feminine spectrum.

12:34I think the hardest thing about coming out as trans is you're not really sure how the world is going to perceive you.
12:38It's a very terrifying experience.
12:40There's been so many trans women who have been killed simply for living as themselves.
12:48I think this makeover will definitely help me have a more positive view of my body and my looks because it's going to allow me to, you know, just feel confident.
12:55I think my main concerns with today's transformation would be, you know, just putting myself out there. The internet can be a very dark and scary place, but it can also be a very beautiful and uplifting one.
