00:00A Jewish civil rights group called Stop Antisemitism announced its Anti-Semite of the
00:05Year and its conservative podcaster, Tucker Carlson. Yeah, ouch. This undesired award
00:13distinction, I don't really know what to call it, is part of the continued fallout from Carlson's
00:19bizarrely friendly interview with white nationalist Nick Fuentes back in October.
00:24Fuentes has pushed conspiracy theories about Jewish control of politics, media and finance in this
00:32country. He's denied the Holocaust and he called for a, quote, holy war against Jewish people. Yeah,
00:39nice guy, huh? Carlson allowing him on his podcast and then failing to push back on much of his utterly
00:46insane opinions is what landed him on the radar of this group, Stop Antisemitism. The organization's
00:52executive director told The Post, quote, Carlson's divisive, hateful and dangerous rhetoric and his
00:59repeated glowing interviews with bigots and Hitler apologists have made him the most reviled Jew
01:04hater over the last 12 months. Now, Carlson has become a central figure of this kind of civil war
01:11within the Republican Party. He was dragged by fellow conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro during
01:17Turning Point USA's Amerifest late last week. Vice President J.D. Vance, who employs Tucker Carlson's
01:24son as a spokesperson, also took a swipe at Shapiro and others in the party who share his opinion about
01:29Carlson while addressing the crowd at the same conference, encouraging conservatives to focus
01:35on shared goals. And we have far more important work to do than canceling each other. We have got to
01:41build. We can love each other despite the disagreement, but winning demands teamwork.
