04:06I'm like, no, you're gonna have to watch the show if you want to see it.
04:08But they were just, like, over the moon, so supportive,
04:10and they were so happy because they know I've had this dream for so long,
04:13and I finally, like, jumped into the deep end and did it.
04:16So, Davey, you have a newborn.
04:18Soto was, what, eight weeks when you came on the show?
04:20Yeah, just a couple months.
04:21Was the sacrifice of leaving him and coming on the show worth it?
04:24Absolutely.
04:25I mean, I knew this was gonna be a life-changing opportunity,
04:29and I'd do it all over again.
04:30He saw it as a vacation.
04:34They just grow so fast.
04:35What's he benched now?
04:36He's getting there. He's getting there.
04:38I think your son watching this show someday
04:40is gonna be really special for you to watch it with him.
04:42Yeah.
04:43And him knowing that you were out here, like, living your dream,
04:46and achieving your dream is gonna be important for him.

04:49When you have a family, it's like a whole new source of motivation.
04:52You guys dropped everything at home so you can pursue your dream.

04:57It kind of felt like stepping off the high dive for the first time.
05:01It's important to step out of your comfort zone
05:03and just go for something, and we all did that,
05:06and, you know, I think we should all be proud of ourselves for that
05:09because, I mean, this is pretty cool.
05:11I still think it's like you're stepping into your path.
05:14Like, you were meant for this, and I absolutely love that.
05:17That's what I was just about to say something similar.
05:20The first step is the hardest.

05:22And you guys all took that first step coming on this show.

05:25I'm so excited to hear about what's been going on.
05:28I heard some of you have been booking some jobs.

05:42I actually got to play Elvis in a musical recently,
05:44which is part of the reason that I'm, you know,

05:53from all the fans and all the supporters and you guys and my family,
05:57I was inspired to start writing again,
05:59and I'm coming out with some Christmas music.

06:24Yeah, Hallmark called and wanted me to be part of Holiday Touchdown,
06:28a Bill's love story, a football movie,
06:30and there was no way I was gonna pass that up,
06:32and it was a dream come true.

09:34So at first, after the wipeout, I was like, okay, I'm good.

09:38But then the recovery took a long time and then my brain went blank.

09:42Me and Janelle did not know what to do when we were just watching you fumble around.

20:17What surprised you most about the experience working with each of these women?
20:22What was amazing for me was how much we were able to learn from them.

20:27Because I was really nervous about the modeling challenge, and y'all knew that.
20:29Mm-hmm.
20:30But when I talked to Heather, I opened up to her and I said,
20:33hey, listen, like, you know, it's not something that I do.
20:35But she said, but you take pictures for theater and for TV all the time,
20:38and it's just like that.
20:39You're a character.
20:40You have an intention.
20:41And as soon as she said that, I literally lifted off the ground.
20:45Yeah.
20:46And I became a reindeer.
20:47And I thought really good about it.
20:48So she was really incredible.

20:51I think their composure impressed me most.
20:53It seemed like they all kind of had that slow heartbeat
20:55while mine was going a million miles an hour,
20:57and it was kind of like a calming force.
20:59It really rubbed off on me.

24:47we were just kind of in awe of you guys soaking in that moment
24:51and, like, getting to experience that with you.

24:54I was just moved just watching you guys run.

25:00Everybody flaunted their acting chops in the star quality challenges.
25:04It was incredible to see you guys grow as performers over the season.

25:39Angel, your emotion was your superpower from day one,
25:45and this scene solidified your spot in the competition.
25:49It was absolutely unbelievable.

25:53It was easy to connect with her and bring my feelings out,
25:57and I let her make me shine so I can make her shine.

26:51What's one thing that you would like to redo
26:54if you had an opportunity to?
26:57Um, about 10 years ago,
26:58my mom had a heart attack,
27:00and she said it was a minor heart attack,
27:02and it wasn't a big deal,
27:03and so she said,
27:04don't come home.
27:05About a week later,
27:06she had a stroke and never woke up,
27:09and so I never got that chance to say goodbye.
27:12That day, you showed the world your heart,
27:14and it was beautiful.
27:16I mean, when you say those kind of things,
27:17and you open up, it's so vulnerable.
27:19Thank you for the opportunity to do that.
27:21Yeah.
27:22And while there were some incredibly moving moments,
27:25some things didn't always go as planned.
27:29The award for best acting while going backwards on a horse
27:35goes to Marcus in Christmas Cowboys.

32:41I mean, every challenge that we went into,
32:43we really had to battle through it.
32:45It was stressful,
32:46because we didn't know what the challenges were going to be,
32:48if we were going to be able to handle it.
32:50But I feel like everybody came together
32:52and was able to work as a team,
32:53even when we were competing against each other,
32:55which made us grow together so much faster.

32:59And Jake, you are a former pro football player.
33:02So how did that feel?
33:03You know, all my life I've been playing football,
33:06sharing locker rooms with guys and building those bonds,
33:09and then all of a sudden it's just gone.

33:11And you know, now having all these new friends,
33:13and it's really special.
33:14It's almost like you got a new team.
33:15I did. Yeah, exactly.
33:16You know?
33:17You know, we all see, especially the fans,
33:19have been talking about this on social media,
33:21that your snowmance didn't meld away
33:24when you left the Holiday House, did it?

36:41So, you think, what was it like getting to the finale?
36:44I came to America not knowing English.
36:46It's a dream come true.
36:48This is where I've been working so hard, and it just makes me emotional.
36:54I mean, it's that moment, right, where you're on the real movie set with the train, and the background artist, and the director, and you've stepped into a real holiday movie.
37:03Absolutely.
37:04This was the culmination of the entire journey.
37:06It was overwhelming.
37:07The season just got bigger and better as we went from week to week, and for it to lead up to that.
37:15Unbelievable.
37:17Did you all think you were gonna win?
37:20I feel like I was robbed.
37:24I think I had about a, uh, roughly one-third chance.
