00:47the remainder of his sentence under house arrest. Najib was convicted of misappropriating 42 million
00:53ringgit from SRC International and has been serving his sentence at Kajang Prison since August 23,
01:002022. He applied for a royal pardon on September 2, 2022. On February 2, 2024, the pardons board
01:10announced that Najib's prison term was reduced from 12 years to six, while his fine was cut from
01:15210 million ringgit to 50 million ringgit.
