00:00Be prepared to be amazed. Oh my gosh. That is beautiful. Look at this. Wow. I've spent 18
00:06seasons of my lottery dream home making my winners happy.
00:11Finding them exactly the right house. In exactly the right place. Beautiful David,
00:19you nailed it. Putting the biggest smile on their faces. Now it's my turn. What are you
00:27gonna do? Triesen Tudor. What? Yeah. You guys ready to get this party started? Yeah. I'm doing my
00:36dream home. Is it gonna cost me a ton of money? It might. But it isn't something
00:41already on the market. Pink, pink. That's your thing? Here he is. It's all inside my
00:46head. And I want it running out here. Yes, yes, yes. Just bursting to get out. 168
00:53chandeliers going in my house. That's a minimum. This is the story of my forever
00:59home. Come on in. All right. How I created it piece by piece. The first floor is here.
01:05And how I almost lost everything. What the hell, man? The road has been very long and
01:14bumpy. This is the biggest project I've ever done in my career. But I finally found my
01:20happy ending. Thank you very much. Five years ago, after spending all my time finding lottery winners
01:38their dream homes, I decided it was my turn. Here we go, Mr. Gregg. Whoa, we're here. Let's do it. So my bestie,
01:46Greg, and I set out to find the perfect home in Orlando, Florida. Yes. And then I found her,
01:54my perfect fairytale home. She's calling my name, and she says, Daddy. Yeah. Wood burning. No,
02:01that is a wood burning, real fireplace. Oh. I was in bliss, at least for a while. My 60s are here.
02:09Then the David Bromson and me wanted more. That's the biggest reason why I bought this house. This
02:16is our family home. Butt first. Butt first now. Butt first, butt. After living in the place and
02:21spending Christmas with my family, our family gatherings are huge. It was clear I needed more
02:28space. Woo. Yes. Merry Christmas, you guys. I'm going to be in this house for a very long time,
02:34and I want to do it right so I'm happy here for the rest of my life. Right now, it's Tudor-esque.
02:42I want to turn it from slightly a Tudor to full-on Tudor. The one thing that screams Tudor is the
02:49roofline that you see on the edges of the house and the siding and all of the beautiful, like,
02:54timbers that make a Tudor house to Tudor. But to me, I want more. I'm going to add some more
03:00beautiful peaks, a lot more windows, and a lot more timbers. Oh, and I'm cladding the entire thing
03:06in brick. It's going to be absolutely stunning. There's a few things on the inside that's not
03:11meeting my needs. One, I need a main bedroom that is me. My main bedroom is beautiful, but I need it
03:17to be a little bit more dramatic. Closet space. I'm using one of my guest bedrooms as a closet for my
03:25winter clothes. There is a decent-sized closet in the main bathroom, but I don't need decent. I need
03:31gigantic. And I really need an entertainment space because my family and I, we are TV watchers. We love
03:40movies. We love sitting down. On Christmas Day, that's what we do. We eat and watch movies all day.
03:46And I want to take our movie experience to the next level. To make room for all my friends and family,
03:52I need to build a two-story addition to the right side of my house. That gives me a brand new main
03:57bedroom, a grand theater, an entertaining space, and more room for storage. My goal today is to be
04:04with my builder and throw all of these crazy ideas at him. Come on in. I'm starting to show you the house
04:09and then see how much it all costs. Do you like it? I like it. Isn't it cute? Let's just walk through.
04:16All right. Obviously, it's a great open kitchen. Super fun. It's just calling for attention, but I'm
04:23not going to do a ton to it. The real investment I want to make is with the additions. Should we go
04:27see where that was going to go? Let's do it. Yes. Okay. You got to check out the pool first.
04:32Oh, wow. Isn't it good? Oh, I love it. This is amazing. So, right here, I want this to be a theater
04:39and entertainment space. And I want it running out here. So, basically, it's like, we're going to sit
04:45here. We're going to watch movies. Yes. Yes. Yes. Collectibles everywhere. And over here is, like,
04:50a pool table area. So, I want it to be a pop-out. It's a really nice peak. Really reinforcing that
04:55Tudor style. Perfect. Nice. Well, we can, with the height you have on the main structure,
05:00I think you can achieve what you want out here. Good. Okay. So far, so good. Right? What about
05:05my boudoir? And it's a good size. Beautiful. It's nice. It's not bad, right? It's not bad
05:11for a closet. I want to turn this into the main closet. Right? But let me walk you out to where
05:19I envision the main. All right. Here is where... Wow. This is... Hopefully, the magic will be
05:25avenue. This is the space. Right. Plenty of space for a king-sized bed here. A little
05:29seating area over here, or vice versa. Flip it around. Over here, I would love a really large
05:36balcony here. Pergola over here, so there's some nice shade. But then I can really enjoy
05:41the entire property from here. And it's a beautiful view. It's good, right? It's going to have a lot
05:45of flair. Is it going to cost me a ton of money? It might. There's an idea that I have for this home,
05:55and it's a home that I've always wanted to live in. Like something maybe Santa Claus grew up in,
06:01or like being at the theme parks here in Florida brings me so much joy and so much safety. I want
06:07to bring that into my home. Hand-carved, acorns, squirrels. Like giving you that whole fantasy
06:13vibe. Geppetto's workshop feel. A modern kind of cuckoo clock vibes. I know. I sound cuckoo. Cuckoo.
06:22Hey, editors. Can you put some birds coming out of my ears? Yeah. Maybe coming around here.
06:26Yeah. Yeah. Cuckoo. Outside, I really want to bring in a lot more timbers, which are the beautiful slats
06:34that you see that are super wonderful and give that Tudor-esque feel. Brick, like over like
06:40grouted brick where it's just dripping. Something you would see like in a 1700 cottage. The bedroom
06:46is going to have a vibe. It'll be the tallest ceilings. It's going to do a really cool slope.
06:51I'm very excited for all of this. Now all these plans have to be drawn up, then approved by the
06:59permit office. All right, so this is the existing house. I submitted them in person to
07:04improve my chances. You've done well. Am I approved? I'll tell you later. Walk me out.
07:11Okay. While I'm waiting for that, I can get started on treasure hunting for my interior
07:17with my dear friend, Nico. Oh my God. It's so fancy. What brings me so much joy is finding
07:26those really yummy items. I do a lot of online research just to get an idea of what's different
07:32things look like. And then I started going out shopping. Ooh, I love this detail. Oh my God. I found
07:39this place specializing in vintage hardware. Can you imagine that on every interior door? Which
07:44reminds me of the theme parks that I love so much. Ooh, these are fun. These are the details to bring
07:51like a regular something. It's a completely different life. To life. Yeah, absolutely. I want something
07:56whimsical and fairytale for the kitchen. Ooh, are these like French? Look at these. I'm not touching the
08:04layout, so it needs to match my new addition. If these come in the right sizes, I could put
08:08these. Make a little detail. Make a whole little money. Yeah. Because I want it to be like a, like a kind of almost like an artist's workshop house. Okay. Yeah.
08:17With the cabinet sorted, I need to upgrade my countertops. Ooh, my gosh. Nature gives us so many beautiful options. Wow. This is stunning.
08:30My instinct is saying, go keep on the light side. Okay. But, you know, I don't know. This is Cristelo.
08:38Mm-hmm. Everyone loves Cristelo. Okay. It's pure quartz with a little bit of gold beining in it. It's sexy.
08:44This right here makes me so happy. Yeah. That's a first with a foot. Yeah. I think I finally found my
08:53countertops. Next up is the dining room. I need a massive table, so I'm having one custom made.
09:03This is my wood? Yeah, this is what we're wanting to use. This table needs to fit my entire family, so it's got to be big.
09:10It's not only going to be a dining table, but it's also going to be a dance floor. Oh. It's that big.
09:15Wow. It's that big. Can people dance on this and be fine with it? Oh, yeah. I'll do it.
09:20Oh, yeah. You could fit probably 20 people on that thing. Fantastic. I'm going to hold you two dancing on
09:26my table. Can I get my mom and dad dancing on the table? Maybe not, but my friends will for sure.
09:40Fabulous news. My plans have been approved by the permit office. We are good to go, people. Yes.
09:46Today is a very exciting day. The concrete is going to be poured, and the base and our foundation
09:53will be set in forever. The guys have been working their buns off. They have dug trenches. They have
10:02laid rebar. They've done everything to spec and to coat to perfection. Now it's all ready for concrete,
10:09which is where it all starts. All right. It's time to get serious. Where do you want me?
10:18Oh. Out of the way for now. I'm on in. All right. What am I doing? Pull it back to me. Okay.
10:26Just a push and pull. Push and pull.
10:35Got it.
10:39A lot of teamwork here, isn't it? Yeah.
10:42It's amazing how it goes from this to that with one swipe. Yeah. Incredible.
10:46And just like that, the foundation for my happy ever after home is in.
11:05Oh my gosh, you guys. Look at this. Let me flip the camera around. The first floor is here,
11:12and it went up literally in just a few hours. It's amazing. I can't believe this is happening. It's
11:18so surreal. So this space is just pure entertainment. It's going to be a theater room.
11:26Who doesn't love a movie? My family does and I do too, so it's all entertainment.
11:32But now it's time to get back to my day job. That's me leaving again.
11:45One of the perks of my job is shopping for one-of-a-kind items from small towns all over
11:49the country. All right, let's start. Let's start over here. I'm always dragging my crew and even our
11:56lottery winners to yard sales and thrift stores. I'm looking just for more home accessories.
12:00Yeah. Just stuff that makes me happy. Seriously.
12:03It actually, yeah. No, this is the stuff I buy all the time.
12:07Really? Because this is what the candy came in with
12:10when I saw my grandma and grandpa. Yes, in that nina's house.
12:12Yeah. I'm not a minimalist designer at all. I'm a maximalist designer.
12:17So I've been gone for the last three weeks and I am so excited to get home because
12:28there's been so much action happening at the house and I have not seen any of it.
12:36Is this mine? No, it can't be.
12:40Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Thank you, driver. This looks incredible.
12:58Alone in my new house.
13:05I just need to stand in here for a second and just take it in because it's a lot to take in.
13:09I've never done anything like this before, so this is really exciting.
13:13One of the main reasons why I built this space was not for the theater,
13:17it was more for my collectibles. So this entire wall is a wall of shelving,
13:22but the whole look of it is going to have this craftsman, fairy tale, beautiful hand-carved moments.
13:29So over here, this is an entertainment space. Why not have a pool table? So that will go right here.
13:35And then theater is going to be against this wall. And also, if I can get some more storage
13:41underneath the theater screen because you can never have enough storage.
13:46Upstairs is mind-blowing actually. My bedroom is fit for a queen. It should be. I've added more
13:53storage space because, you know, and the balcony is ready for me to call out my Romeo. Or is it Gary?
13:59Gary. Wherever he is.
14:05Now I finally get to dive into the artistic elements that will really bring home my vision.
14:11Got a close.
14:13I've moved into a workshop and brought in Mark, an amazing artist and woodworker,
14:19to help me build all these details that will ultimately bring my Geppetto's vision to life.
14:25Ah, yes. I have the coolest art studio that has ever existed. I mean, can you stand it?
14:35I have 168 chandeliers going in my house. Back here is my collection. All of this I've collected
14:44doing lottery episodes, going to thrift stores, going to antique stores, going to retro stores.
14:49Granny square blankets I became obsessed with because, one, it reminds me of home. It reminds
14:55me of my mom, my grandmothers. They all crocheted. They all were crafty. So this is a huge part of my
15:02life. And so this is going to go in the theater room in some sort of really fun way. I have so many
15:08ideas, so much inspiration. I have to work out where it all fits. I'm feeling under pressure to make sure
15:15it's really perfect. And I was buying these table legs, and I didn't know why. And a lot of my
15:21shopping is, I don't know why. I knew I was going to use it somehow. I bought a table leg. And so what
15:28I did with the table legs, I cut it in half. Boop. And what I did with that is I cut it into quarters.
15:36This is going to be, you gotta come over here. Say this is your ceiling.
15:38Look at that trim. Amazing. I've made my kitchen island cabinets from scratch.
15:49Once you can make a kitchen cabinet, you can do anything. What it will look like
15:55is something like this. Ding. This is a drawer. And these are the drawers I made for the island.
16:04This is a huge inspiration right here for my bedroom installation wall. My parents went to
16:12Switzerland on a vacation without us kids, and they brought back a cuckoo clock. And
16:17there was something about it that just was so magical, and it reminded me of being in fantasy land.
16:22So this is how long my bedroom is. My bedroom is 21 feet long. It's being inspired by what's going on over
16:28there. And you just... So you know those palm frongs that are very tropical for fans? Well, that's what
16:36these used to be. And I cut them to be a more northern leaf. This is the biggest project I've ever
16:43done in my career. It's liberating. It's terrifying. It's...
16:48It's just... It's moving in every single way as far as being an artist.
16:59My contractors are moving along too. After 250 days, I can finally feel my dream becoming a reality.
17:08I've chosen iron doors and window frames. They're the perfect Tudor signature and will keep my home safe
17:14during hurricanes. Back in the day, builders only had metal, wood, stone, and brick to work with.
17:21They're ageless materials. This is the front door. This is the front door moment, right? Look at that.
17:26That's it. Yeah. That is going to set off the storybook feel and make it feel so much more expensive
17:31and delicious and wonderful. My storybook house is growing before my eyes. It's everything I imagined.
17:44So, we've had a very active storm season.
18:12We're in a really unique part of our construction where everything is framed in,
18:19but not completely attached.
18:23Last night, we had the storm of storms. It didn't seem that big of a deal until my friend Augie took
18:29a video and he's like, we have a flood. Stove is filling up with water all the way around. I don't
18:35know if it's any kind of hazard. And it wasn't just in one place. It was in multiple places.
18:43But once it starts, it finds a pathway and that pathway will find its way throughout the entire
18:49house. Floor damage. More floor damage. So water has come way out to the center of the bedroom.
18:58It's coming into the guest bedrooms. So not even close to where we are doing all the construction.
19:04There's just madness happening everywhere.
19:09This is not just a setback. This is a danger. I know what wet means here in Florida. Mold.
19:20Mold happens within hours. And it's no joke here. Mold is real and it does kill.
19:28My house that I love so much is now a place that's a danger to me.
19:38You can't live here. I have to move out.
19:41The house has to be tented, cut off. People have to come in, strip the entire house of all the drywall.
19:56They literally have to take toothbrushes and scrape out. I like, like literally
20:03fine tooth comb through all of it. It's going to take months.
20:06Oh my god.
20:27What the hell, man?
20:28Uh... This is where all the mold was. All throughout this entire section.
20:39Mold. Mold, mold. Tons of it.
20:41It's heartbreaking.
20:42I know. I feel like my house has been broken. It hurts my soul a little bit. Because I love this house.
20:49Roger! David!
20:51Oh, what have you done to my house?
20:55We're going to have quite a few unfortunate moments today.
20:58How unfortunate?
21:00Oh, fart. All right, let's just rip the band-aid.
21:04If you notice how the fiberglass insulation, the old stuff, is sticking to the block.
21:07What's that all about? That tells us that there's moisture
21:09protruding through your house. I love that journey for my house.
21:12And it captures all of the dirt and debris that runs through every duct in this house.
21:17There's no salvaging? Let's try to like...
21:19No, there's no salvaging this. This is 1984 duct work.
21:22But one of the other things that we do is, in these older houses, is we have to bring them up to
21:27New Florida Building Code. You start seeing all these other things.
21:30I knocked a hole here and there is no concrete in here. So what we're going to do
21:35is we'll rip it out. We'll drill an epoxy rebar. Shall we keep going?
21:41Do I have a choice?
21:41We haven't even touched upstairs yet.
21:47I set out to create a fairy tale and I'm absolutely living in the worst sort of nightmare.
21:55My house is completely and not in a fun way.
21:59This is an emotionally based house. You're emotionally attached and whatever happens to
22:04the house feels like it's happening to you, like deep within.
22:13The one thing I can do is to dive into the work, have as much prepared for this house when it does
22:19get up and running again.
22:20All right. Here we go.
22:23With all of the drama, the house, the stress, the insurance claims, and bleeding money,
22:31I just had to keep busy. My vision for the house was no longer clear. Everything was in chaos.
22:40I called it art in the moment, but it wasn't. It was a cover up to what was really happening.
22:47I was losing control. My mind is going crazy. The sleep is becoming less and less and less because
22:55the stress is rising and rising and rising. I was starting to spiral.
23:04I got into like some unhealthy behaviors and it's really easy to go there when you're under distress.
23:13You know, using substances has been, it's a real easy escape
23:22to take yourself out of a stressful situation.
23:29I knew I was in trouble.
23:30I think with the house, with where I'm at emotionally, physically, spiritually, psychologically,
23:46everything has stopped.
23:50I was literally screaming out for help.
23:52Back when I was a teenager, I didn't deal with what really happened.
24:01I was exactly this amount of gay, this amount of perfect, but that was not celebrated.
24:10That was looked in a different way back then.
24:13I was super depressed. I was super bullied.
24:20And so for me to idealize my childhood was a complete defense mechanism that was beautiful. It saved me.
24:29Now my childhood fantasy, my house is broken like me.
24:45I decided, you know, it's time. I need to put my house on hold and I need to check myself into
24:53some sort of program. I need to talk. I need to like climb out of this hole. Like,
25:01I need to understand why I climbed into it in the first place.
25:05Take me somewhere. I have nowhere I gotta be.
25:14After getting the help I needed, I took a trip to Norway for my 50th.
25:18Bless that feeling. Looking for some way back from here.
25:24My dad's 100% Norwegian and I was like, I want to go somewhere where I connect to on a much larger scale.
25:32I know I wanted to hike. 2,000 stairs. Oh, they're way up there.
25:41Hiking was so healing. The amount of trust I had to put into my body
25:47for the first time in a really, really long time was terrifying.
25:51With every step I took, the more confident I got.
25:56This trip is the culmination of all my therapy.
26:00Now I can go back and be with every single version of my traumatic childhood and nurture that little
26:07one. Be there for that little one. Not run away from what happened, but to stare it down and say,
26:14I'm not alone. I have you.
26:18I did it. It was as much mental as physical, probably more mental.
26:23It's been so good.
26:38This last year has been the biggest transformation of my life.
26:44Not only did I climb mountains physically and mentally, now I see the world through
26:49new eyes.
26:54So this house and I take almost identical journey. The house was flooded and stripped down and
27:01and I was the same way. I was poisoned.
27:05Everything I was working on before was based in chaos. My vision wasn't clear.
27:11But now I'm seeing my true self and my forever home for the first time.
27:18So interesting to look at like my design before. It was so fantasy and fairy tale.
27:24It's something I was familiar with from childhood.
27:26I was literally screaming out for help with my design. Just like I stripped myself down to the bones,
27:33I stripped all of that away because I was making things just too complex.
27:39The shapes have changed. The textures have changed. The materials have changed. Everything was
27:44based and rooted in wood. Now everything is based in a sculptural concrete and there's so much organic
27:55shapes and feels and movements going on.
27:59I'm moving on from a workshop concept and using my trip to Scandinavia as my new foundation.
28:07I was really inspired by all the stone buildings, specifically this small little pizza shop.
28:12So I'm swapping out all the brick and cladding the whole home with stone, inside and out.
28:21This inside? Can you imagine that instead of drywall?
28:25I think that'd be phenomenal.
28:26Wouldn't that be beautiful?
28:27Yeah, absolutely. You got good taste.
28:28Yeah, I do. Do you like my coat?
28:30Absolutely.
28:31Do you want one to wear?
28:31I'm a little jealous.
28:32Oh, I have one.
28:33Oh, you got one.
28:35Give me a minute.
28:37Oh, we got matching coats.
28:39Yeah, we do.
28:40Okay, it fits you a little bit. Let me see. Let's switch.
28:45You got it all warm for me.
28:47Oh my God, you look like a pimp.
28:50As much as I love the color, I don't love the color.
28:55So I was planning on lime washing this to make it more of like this.
28:59I wanted to calm it down with more of a creamy.
29:02Okay.
29:02And the lime wash is great because it's like,
29:04you're putting basically a stone slurry on top of stone.
29:06Absolutely.
29:07It ages like stone.
29:08It breathes like stone.
29:09So it's not, people are like, are you painting that?
29:11I'm like, no, I'm just adding to it.
29:13Yeah, I think it's a great idea.
29:15You think I should do it pink?
29:16After over 1,100 days working on this project, I can finally see my vision coming to life.
29:32The stone that was inspired by that adorable little pizza shop in Norway is almost finished.
29:40My vision is still evolving, but it's much clearer than before.
29:46I'm keeping all the Tudor elements, but I'm blending different styles to create a more whimsical
29:51storybook vibe.
29:52I've been playing around with the color palette and settled on, of course, a blush pink for the house
30:01and oxblood for the trim.
30:05Arches.
30:06I'm going all in on arches.
30:09They're soft and ageless.
30:14But my favorite part of the house are all the shelving upstairs and downstairs.
30:20I've built a custom bookshelf, but rather than doing it in wood, I found a super lightweight
30:25vertical concrete that I used to hand shape the structures, creating an organic stone-like look.
30:33It feels like a fantasy.
30:34It still feels fairy tale, but in a very different way.
30:39Oh my gosh.
30:40I can't wait to give my friend Nico a sneak peek.
30:43It's crazy right there.
30:44Like, obsessed.
30:47It's ridiculous.
30:49It's such a fantasy.
30:51I can't wait to see it.
30:53Is it a gorge?
30:54All the arches are new, so I took that arch theme, and it's inside and outside.
31:04Come on in.
31:07Wow.
31:07Are you speechless?
31:14Uh, a little bit.
31:16So right now I have my wood floors covered, but they are the same tone as the ceiling.
31:20So everything just is like this big yummy marshmallow and very good neutral palette.
31:25Of course, I'm not staying neutral.
31:26You know this.
31:27No, of course not.
31:30Oh, wow.
31:33I know.
31:34Isn't this cool?
31:34This is like my favorite part so far.
31:37What a great way to showcase all of your beautiful stuff in such a non-traditional way.
31:41Right.
31:42So how did you get it to, like, keep the shape, like all of this?
31:46Like, how did...
31:47Well, that's the beauty with its mixture.
31:48It's concrete.
31:49And it doesn't run.
31:50Light.
31:51You could literally, I put this on, it went like this, and it stayed.
31:56Originally, I wasn't planning on touching too much of the existing structure,
32:01but with all of the mold and water damage, I had to redo the entire house.
32:06My bathroom is all pink, and I carried those arches all the way into the shower.
32:13Wow.
32:13It's a lot to look at.
32:14This does not look anything like the other one.
32:17All right, let's go see the main bedroom.
32:18This is my bedroom.
32:21Isn't this crazy?
32:22Oh, my God.
32:23It really kind of mimics the downstairs space, but it's still, like, totally different.
32:27Very different.
32:28And these guys are lime washing their little buns off.
32:31Hi, guys.
32:32I'm doing lime wash on everything.
32:34Let's go outside.
32:36I'll go out here.
32:38But this is so good, right?
32:40Yeah, this is incredible.
32:41Good.
32:41It's giving me, like, Viking, Norway.
32:44Exactly.
32:45Iceland.
32:45You guys are giving me Iceland?
32:47It was a little Iceland, little Norway vibes.
32:49But everything seems to be blending together beautifully.
32:52Yes, thank you very much.
32:53Are you hungry?
32:54I'm starving.
32:55Should I get some lunch?
32:57Being an artist, I'm always trying to find ways to bring that touch into my personal spaces.
33:02I can't help it.
33:04My grandmothers would crochet and make macrame.
33:08I wanted to bring that in on a much more modern and a much larger scale.
33:13Where I'm doing this is everywhere.
33:15It will be in place of where people would use curtains.
33:19I'll be using macrame.
33:21Do I know exactly where they're going?
33:23No.
33:23Mostly on the ends of the windows.
33:25Mostly where there's no space, but it definitely will be a part of a window treatment.
33:28These will stay put.
33:30They're not going to move.
33:31They're just going to be an installation to bring color, texture, and a vibe.
33:37I also want to carry that theme outside and found the perfect shop.
33:44Okay, yep.
33:45I'm buying everything in the store.
33:49Look at this.
33:50Hi, the one and only David Bromson.
33:52Oh my god, nice to see you.
33:53Such a pleasure to meet you.
33:55Thank you for reaching out.
33:55Are you kidding me?
33:57What is happening here?
33:59Oh, it's even better in person.
34:00Do you like it?
34:01Is it dramatic?
34:03A little bit.
34:03Then I like it.
34:04A little bit.
34:06I need dining chairs.
34:07I need club chairs.
34:09I saw your swings.
34:10Oh, we have a lot of swings.
34:11And I'm having all of the swings.
34:12What you're looking for as far as color?
34:14Pink.
34:15Pink.
34:15That's your thing?
34:15Period.
34:16I love it.
34:16Pinks, reds, magentas.
34:19Like all of this.
34:20Gotcha.
34:21All of this whole thing is making me happy.
34:23I could see myself with this and this and that and that and that.
34:27I'm super excited to see what's going to look for.
34:30Oh my gosh.
34:34With the structural work finally all done,
34:37it's time to start bringing in all my furnishings.
34:39Oh, it's so pretty.
34:42My big new family sectional will be the centerpiece of my theater room.
34:46And I want them all to stay here so the kids can plop on the sofa.
34:49A lot of couch.
34:50Oh, chill.
34:53I felt lost.
34:56And of course, my gorgeous 12-foot dining table.
34:59Oh my gosh, that's sick.
35:02Wow.
35:04Things are coming together perfectly.
35:07Stunning.
35:07But the clock is ticking for my big reveal party.
35:11The house has gone through so much in the last four years.
35:15From a Santa's workshop to a Norwegian tutor with a pink twist.
35:21My fairytale house finally has its own story.
35:24And I can't wait to share it with the world.
35:30I have all the emotions.
35:31I am happy, thrilled, elated, excited to show my house.
35:36I'm nervous, terrified, insecure of showing it as well.
35:40And not just showing it, but like revealing my inner workings to you guys.
35:46It's a big deal.
36:00Today, I'm having my house reveal party.
36:02I've invited people who have made a big impact in my life at some point in my existence.
36:10It's such an honor.
36:12And I'm so excited to show this version of myself off.
36:17Because no one's seen anything like this of what I've done.
36:22This house is my work of art.
36:25This is good.
36:26This is my best work.
36:28The caterers are here.
36:31Very exciting.
36:34So, obviously, we're doing flowers here.
36:37I would love someone to greet my guests at the door.
36:42And I get to be with the people I love the most and celebrate with them.
36:46Oh my, look at this.
36:50Is this beautiful?
36:58Wow.
36:58How was that?
36:59Oh, look at this.
37:01Four years.
37:01Four years.
37:02Four years.
37:18Oh my goodness.
37:19Isn't this right now?
37:21Hi, David.
37:22Oh my god.
37:22Drinking already?
37:23Oh, well, you know.
37:25It comes with the territory.
37:27You know how that is.
37:29Oh, this is fabulous.
37:30Keep walking in.
37:37Wow.
37:38Is it crazy?
37:40There's a few things to look at.
37:47That is amazing.
37:49I love it.
37:50Okay, this is nothing.
37:52This is an amuse-bouche of what is to come.
37:55There's more.
37:56That is amazing.
37:59This isn't the lighting, the colors.
38:02I love it.
38:03You're still a designer.
38:04I know.
38:19How long did this take you?
38:25So this has been four years, but I took a year off of the house because it was just toxic.
38:30It had mold.
38:31It had, there's so much that went on to it.
38:33I love it.
38:41Your love for colored glass is all great.
38:45No, yeah, because you always had a passion for it.
38:46Always.
38:47In every house you had amazing.
38:49Now this is all custom.
38:50Oh, there's more here.
38:51Well, no kids allowed it.
38:52That is so fun.
38:55So these are custom made from these beautiful artisans in Colombia.
38:59I want to see more, more, more, more.
39:01Let's go into the next stage.
39:03You're going to love it.
39:03Oh, wow.
39:04You're going to love it so well.
39:06Oh, my God.
39:07Holy God.
39:08She said stop it.
39:12David, you have a pink.
39:16And you've made it.
39:18Thanks.
39:18Yeah, I did.
39:19That is so awesome.
39:21I love David's house.
39:29It is amazing.
39:30It's like you walk in and it's like it gives you a hug.
39:34It's like walking through David's mind.
39:37You're literally walking into David's heart, into his soul.
39:43I have to stay here like five hours looking at all the details.
39:46So my favorite room in the inside is my bedroom.
39:53You guys want a guide?
39:54Yes.
39:54Let's go.
39:55My two boys can go guide my girls.
39:57Oh.
39:58Get ready.
39:59Look at this.
39:59Woo-hoo.
40:01Here we are.
40:02Isn't this amazing?
40:12People are going to watch this and think nobody lives like this.
40:14No.
40:15We've seen his previous houses and he does live with this amount.
40:18He lives like this is his reality.
40:20Yes.
40:21David put all this together.
40:22Yeah, David did all this.
40:23He did all.
40:23He did?
40:23With his own hands.
40:24All by his own hands.
40:25It's really organic.
40:26I mean, it's incredible.
40:27It's so beautiful.
40:29He looks amazing.
40:30Wait a minute.
40:30You guys see the closet?
40:31No.
40:32Yeah, did you guys go in the closet?
40:33Stop.
40:42Of course the changers are.
40:43Oh my gosh.
40:45I see the bathroom.
40:47No way.
40:48Oh, okay.
40:49I got that.
40:50The more masculine version of Barbie.
40:52Right, bro?
40:53I'm just something else, man.
40:55It's beyond anything that I would have thought that he would do and I think this thing is going
41:05to live on for a long time.
41:07It's incredible.
41:10Does it look good?
41:11Yeah, it does.
41:18David loves the Tudor style house and he still kept the integrity of the Tudor style,
41:22but just added his own flair to it.
41:24It's like curtains without being curtains.
41:26It's so great.
41:27He added all the white stone on the outside to make it really kind of magical and fantasy-like.
41:33He left all the timbers and everything on here too, but added his own touch with the color palette
41:37that he chose to it.
41:38Adding the blush and the pink to the outside of the house really brought it to another level.
41:42So it's still the original style, but totally his own twist on it.
41:46It's a installation of art that just happens to double us somewhere where you can hang out.
41:57When I'm entertaining people, I want them to like vibe.
42:01I want them to find a spot or many spots and just have a moment.
42:11It's glorious and it's beautiful and it's sophisticated.
42:15It's playful.
42:18It's stupid good, like.
42:27This is not just a love letter to myself.
42:30This is a love letter to all of you.
42:32Friends, family, co-workers.
42:37It's so sweet, love you too.
42:45That was so sweet.
42:46It's so sweet, love you too, love you too, love you too, love you too, love you too, love you.
42:53Ugh!
42:54The feelings.
42:55It's true.
43:10The feelings for other people.
