00:41:51But this is why I was doing Strictly to put myself out there

00:45:55I beam every single day

00:45:58I've got teammates that I haven't had for six, seven years

00:46:02And I walk into...

00:46:04It takes two Strictly to the training rooms, everything

00:46:07And with this guy, I feel like I've got a team

00:46:09And I'm so grateful for that

00:46:13Like, I can't articulate that enough

00:46:15Oh my gosh

00:46:17And Carlos, you have been in this position before

00:46:19What have you taken from your past experience

00:46:22And carried through to this time around?

00:46:26I mean, that was my first year

00:46:27Actually, I didn't know much about the show

00:46:29I just know how to come in and give everything

00:46:31I was a bit of self-centered

00:46:33I was strict as a teacher

00:46:35And Molly, she was incredible as my first partner

00:46:38But this time, I've learned so much about being a human

00:46:42And because of this woman

00:46:45And to be a team player

00:46:48And to be a grounded person

00:46:50And to be a better person

00:46:52And to grow out and help each other

00:46:54Ups and downs

00:46:55That's the biggest lesson I've learned through this journey

00:46:59Yeah, and when you look back to week one

00:47:01How has this partnership changed and evolved

00:47:04Through the last few weeks?

00:47:09I'm with him

00:47:10He's my partner

00:47:11And, you know

00:47:12We were two people that never met

00:47:14And maybe

00:47:15We would never have connected

00:47:17And I have got to know

00:47:19And grow

00:47:20And to love

00:47:21And to adore this

00:47:23Dancings aside

00:47:24Like, I can talk to him about anything

00:47:26Connect to him

00:47:26We can have long chats

00:47:27We can

00:47:28You know, we chat in the car

00:47:29And I know he's desperate to sleep

00:47:31And I just want to talk to him

00:47:32But he's such a special person

00:47:35And he's tried to build my confidence

00:47:38And in that he said, ah, Karen Carney's enough

00:47:41But I've said a lot to him this week

00:47:43Being Carlos Gu is enough

00:47:45Because it's a team

00:47:46And, you know, he's had his struggles

00:47:48And it's not easy being away from home

00:47:50And I've learned so much about him

00:47:52As a human being

00:47:53And he's enough

00:47:54And we are a team

00:50:45For her to say that was for me

00:50:50When she blew me a kiss
