00:00Hello, I'm Che Ho, head of Mint Rocket Studio and director of Dave the Diver.

00:102025 has passed so quickly, time really flies.

00:14As many of you know, Mint Rocket spawned from Nexon on November 1st, 2024, becoming an independent subsidiary.

00:22Thanks to everyone, Dave the Diver ended up being far more successful than we ever imagined.

00:28To make sure this does not remain as a simple luck, we work out to organize and improve our internal pipeline as a new company.

00:36This year was a bit slow, but I think we'll be able to share a lot more exciting news starting next year.

00:43Oh, by the way, we moved into new office this March.

00:47Here's our community manager Josh who will give you a quick office tour.

00:52Hey Divers, Josh here. Our new office is designed to create even more fun games.

00:56As you walk past by our Identity Mint Rocket, you'll find a spacious and clean Mint Hall.

01:04During your lunch breaks, we gather here to play games.

01:08Grab a coffee and recharge with a quick stretch.

01:13If you're up for it, you can work out in the gym.

01:17Or just take a well-deserved break in the break room.

01:21And this is where our sound design happens.

01:26Immersive experiences in our games start with these kinds of details.

01:30Upstairs, you'll find our main office space.

01:33Here, we bring countless top secret projects to life.

01:37We've also got a small tree here, along with cute and amazing official merch.

01:43Not bad, right?

01:45In this new space, the new Mint Rocket is working on several very exciting new projects

01:51in addition to the In the Jungle DLC for Dave the Diver.

01:55I can't review much on these yet, but we'll share news with you as soon as they are ready.

02:00For today, let's talk about In the Jungle DLC.

02:03We've revealed some footage through the Xbox Partner Preview,

02:08and I'd like to show and introduce a bit more about it.

02:12First, we are preparing this DLC with quite a substantial amount of content,

02:17which is around 10 hours of gameplay.

02:20Also, unlike many DLCs that mostly follow the main game system,

02:24the In the Jungle DLC will be offering very different system and gameplay.

02:29We've been expanding the main game experience through various updates and crossovers,

02:34and we have plans for more.

02:36So, with this large story expansion DLC,

02:39we hope to give you the experience of Dave and friends living in a new life and new place.

02:44Okay then, let's take a sneak peek at the In the Jungle DLC.

02:48In a jungle village called Utara, Dave spends his day freely just like this.

02:54The time flows in real time here,

02:57and you can spend your day fulfilling villagers' requests or gathering fruits and minerals.

03:03Next is a restaurant that Bancho runs in a jungle village.

03:08Unlike Bancho Sushi, which you can only move horizontally,

03:12you can now serve customers in multiple directions.

03:15As your relationship with villagers grows stronger,

03:18they will begin visiting the restaurant as customers.

03:22Oh, and since the lake has freshwater fish,

03:25and as these cannot be eaten raw,

03:28this time it's not Bancho Sushi, but it's Bancho Grill.

03:32And this is a lake.

03:34As you may have seen in the trailer,

03:36there are crocodile, giant catfish, and electric eels.

03:40Oh, and of course, there are piranhas too.

03:43It's a jungle lake after all.

03:45In this DLC, you'll be able to utilize new weapon called the Jungle Gun.

03:50This weapon can freely transform into netgun, shotgun, snipers, or simply regular guns.

03:56So, you can change its form that suits the situation best, enabling much more diverse gameplay.

04:03We're also developing interesting boss battles, so be ready for it.

04:07Additionally, you'll be able to walk around the forest with Dave and his friends,

04:12and experience wide variety of jungle activities, including various minigames like these.

04:19Even more content is currently being developed beyond what we've shown you now.

04:24Plus, you'll be able to meet characters from other games you love, so please look for a toy.

04:29Okay, you know, for me, let's hear a bit more about development from our game design lead and art director.

04:38Hello, I'm the leader of Dave the Diver from Dave the Diver.

04:43As you saw in the previous video,

04:46이번 DLC는 육지플레이와 정글마을이라는 새로운 요소를 도입하면서도

04:51기존의 재미를 해치지 않고 자연스럽게 어우러지도록 하는 데에 집중을 하고 있습니다.

04:56사실 이 과정이 쉽지만은 않았는데요.

04:59이제 기존의 바다탐험과 스시집 운영이라는 두 가지 축을

05:03지루할 틈 없이 잘 맞물려서 돌아가게 하는 것이

05:06Dave the Diver 본편을 만들면서 가장 공을 들였던 부분입니다.

05:10여기에 새로운 플레이가 추가되면서 기존의 리듬은 깨지 않으면서도

05:15각각의 경험이 모두 의미있게 느껴지도록 균형을 잡는 것이

05:19상당히 어려운 과제였습니다.

05:21또 새로 등장하는 마을 주민들이 단순히 시스템적으로

05:25기능만을 수행하는 그런 딱딱한 NPC처럼 보이지 않았으면 했습니다.

05:29다가가서 말도 걸고 싶고 친해지고 싶은 그런 매력적인 대상으로

05:34느껴지도록 만드는 과정에도 정말 많은 공을 들이고 있습니다.

05:38여러 시행착오 끝에 지금은 어느 정도 방향성이 잡힌 상태입니다.

05:43남은 기간 동안에 잘 다듬어서 보여드리면

05:46유저분들도 분명히 좋아해 주시지 않을까 기대하고 있습니다.

05:54이번 DLC를 준비하면서 가장 큰 변화와 도전은

05:58기존의 좌우 행으로만 움직이던 캐릭터 시스템에서

06:01이제 마을이라는 공간이 생기고

06:03앞뒤 이동이 추가되면서 거기에 따라

06:06카메라가 같이 이동하는 부분이었는데요.

06:09물론 본편에 농장이나 양식장도 그런 뷰가 있었지만

06:13이번에는 범위가 훨씬 넓어지고

06:15카메라도 캐릭터를 따라 같이 이동하고

06:18거기에 이제 마을의 캐릭터가 훨씬 많아지고

06:20시간의 흐름에 따라서 실시간으로 반영하는 게 들어가게 되었습니다.

06:24그만큼 본편에 비해 변수도 많아지고

06:26각 상황에서의 조화를 고려해야 해서

06:28쉽지 않은 도전이라고 생각하지만

06:30그만큼 재미있고 더 다양한 볼거리를 제공할 수 있다고 말씀드리고 싶습니다.

06:37There's actually one more thing we'd like to share.

06:40Without release on Switch 2 and Xbox,

06:42you can now meet Dave on almost all platforms.

06:45But there's still one of the platform that's missing.

06:48Many users wanted to play Dave the Diver on their mobile devices.

06:53So, we're now developing a mobile version together

06:56with our Chinese partner XD.

06:59Without further ado,

07:00our business manager Jasper will show you gameplay footage directly.

07:04Hi everyone!

07:05This is Jasper from the business team.

07:07This year has been a very busy one for our team.

07:10We joined several gaming events in China

07:12and met lots of amazing fans.

07:14During those events, we showed an early build of Dave the Diver mobile

07:18and let players try it out

07:20and got tons of really helpful feedback.

07:22And what I can tell you now

07:24is that it's not just going to be a simple port,

07:26but we're tuning the whole experience

07:28so it feels natural on mobile devices.

07:30We redesigned UI and controls

07:32so everything is easy to use and see on smaller screens.

07:36Here's my favorite part.

07:38You can actually tilt your device to poor tea.

07:41Our plan is to launch first in China next year

07:44then releases globally soon after.

07:46The team is making solid progress

07:48and fingers crossed

07:49we will be able to share more updates with you soon.

07:52Okay, as I mentioned earlier,

07:54we've got plenty in the works

07:56and I really wanted to share a glimpse before the year ends.
