00:00All right?
00:01Yeah, basically.
00:02The record for this event currently held by the New York Admiral's Scott Hunter.
00:06Glad to see Rosanoff gonna hold my record for more than a minute.
00:09Let's shoot, Mark.
00:10I thought it was Scott Hunter's year.
00:12Hey.
00:13Can you believe Russia?
00:14Be nice, Bonnie.
00:15Hey, what did Ross say about it?
00:16I don't know.
00:17Listen to me, that's for sure.
00:19We're not, like, friends or anything.
00:21No worries.
00:22I'm sure someone else grabbed him.
00:23Seriously, this year, baby, we're coming for you.
00:25Trust me.
00:26You look great in silver, Bonnie.
00:27Don't even stress.
00:28Good one.
00:30I want some ice cream bad, man.
00:44Do you not find it weird that we're in a beach town in Russia in February talking about
00:48getting ice cream?
00:49Winter Olympics, baby.
00:50I'm sure this should be, right?
00:52Hey, isn't that...
00:55Oh, yeah.
00:57All in there.
00:58What's up, motherfucker?
00:59Good boys.
01:00Hey.
01:01All right, so tonight we can do the men's short form figure skating or...?
01:04My buddy Joe is in that program.
01:05We train together.
01:06Would you guys, uh, be cool to do that?
01:08I'd love to show up for him.
01:09Oh, yeah, man.
01:10Show up for any dude who's that brave.
01:12What do you mean?
01:13What do you mean?
01:14Well, I'm assuming your buddy might be gay.
01:18I mean, fucking pray for a dude to show up to a place like this and be like, hey, here's
01:23me.
01:24Russia is not safe for folks like that.
01:27Fucking balls of steel, man.
01:29Yep.
01:30Welcome back to Man in the Crease, your one-stop hockey shop.
01:44Today's first period topic is the inevitable one for the Amarals.
01:48What has happened to Scott Hunter?
01:5070 points last season.
01:52Yes.
01:53And we're six games into this season.
01:55A season he, he called, need to win.
01:58Those are his words.
01:59And he has zero, zero points.
02:02He's in a fog.
02:03His passes aren't connecting.
02:05He's barely skating.
02:06I can't imagine he's amazing in the room right now.
02:09And he's already been announced as Team USA captain at the Olympics in Russia.
02:32I am very sorry about that.
02:56Definitely not a big deal.
02:57How may I help you?
02:59Uh, what's, uh, what's good?
03:02Um, just a bunch of very decent smoothies with deeply stupid names.
03:08Any allergies?
03:09No, no, no, I'm easy.
03:10Okay.
03:11Um, I mean, the best one's the blueberry one, but...
03:14Oh, you mean Blue Moon Over Brooklyn?
03:15Yeah.
03:16Yeah, that's it.
03:17But what?
03:18Oh, um, nothing.
03:20Just when I make it for myself in the morning, I add a banana.
03:24Oh, so you're kind of wild.
03:26I mean, it wouldn't be the first time somebody's told me that.
03:31Uh, yeah, that actually sounds pretty good.
03:33Yeah?
03:34Blueberry with a banana.
03:35I take that.
03:36If it's okay to order off-menu.
03:38Yep.
03:39I mean, technically it was my idea, so I think we can get away with it this time.
03:44Oh, you weren't kidding.
03:45It's really hot.
03:46Oh, yeah.
03:47The banana makes a big difference, I think.
03:49I don't know.
03:50Guess it must.
03:51Oh, you weren't kidding.
03:52It's really hot.
03:53Oh, yeah.
03:54The banana makes a big difference, I think.
03:56I don't know.
03:57Guess it must.
03:58Here.
03:59Thanks.
04:00Uh, I guess it must.
04:03Uh, I guess it must.
04:10Here.
04:11Thanks.
04:12Um, that's way too much.
04:27It's for you.
04:29It's a great smoothie.
04:31Thanks again, Kip.
04:33A girl.
04:36Oh, shit!
04:41Are you—
04:45Was that Scott Hunter?
04:46Was that what?
04:47Scott Hunter, the hockey player.
04:50A girl!
04:52Clock winding down in the second period, 2-1 for Anaheim.
04:57We have girls with the draw.
04:58And this is what we're watching.
05:00We barely get to see you because you're always working.
05:03But at least when we do, we get to watch, uh, what is this?
05:06Let me check my name. Hockey?
05:08Shut up, Sean. I have to turn it off.
05:10No, no, no, please keep it on.
05:12Thank you, Kyle.
05:13Thank you, Kyle.
05:15Thank you, Kyle. You're welcome.
05:17Twice. He said tip.
05:19Like, he used your actual name twice.
05:21Maria, that is setting the bar so low.
05:24And it didn't even sound stupid when he said it.
05:26It almost sounded hot.
05:27Okay, that's not fair. Not hot. Just normal.
05:29Okay, I'll listen to it.
05:31Fuck both of you, okay?
05:33Camp is short for Christopher. It's not that weird.
05:35It's a short bus for Christopher.
05:36And please don't tell me you used that name on your grad school application.
05:39Oh, my God. Why are we talking about my dumb name?
05:41He said it.
05:42He said it.
05:44Another round?
05:45Thank you, Kyle.
05:47Thank you, Kyle.
05:50And you?
05:53Look, look, look. He's on the TV right now.
05:55Sean, look right now.
05:57Oh, my God, okay.
05:58Fox to Hunter.
05:59Hunter's in front of the net.
06:00And he scores!
06:02A rare goal from Scott Hunter.
06:04Oh, wow.
06:05Right?
06:06He knows your name.
06:07Yeah.
06:08I mean, he's definitely not gay, but...
06:10Shut the fuck up. He literally blocked him.
06:12Jesus Christ!
06:16He scored a hat-trick last night.
06:18Are you asking me what that means?
06:20Or are you just telling me something I already know?
06:22I just didn't realize that...
06:23We literally watched the game, Kip.
06:31Nice to see you again, Kip.
06:32Nice to see you again, uh...
06:35Scott.
06:36You're Scott Hunter, right?
06:37I am.
06:39This is awesome.
06:40I mean, wow, you had a night last night.
06:42Oh, did you watch?
06:43I did, yeah.
06:44I don't usually...
06:45Sorry, that sounds rude.
06:47I'm...
06:48No, I got it.
06:49Well, I watched the playoffs last year with my dad.
06:51It was amazing.
06:52He's a huge fan.
06:54But, yeah.
06:55I watched last night.
06:56Wow.
06:58Um...
06:59You know, when something goes right with my game,
07:00I try to repeat it, and then I try to perfect it.
07:05Okay.
07:06So, I'd love another smoothie, please.
07:10Anything you'd like different?
07:12Nothing at all.
07:14There you go.
07:16Okay.
07:17You really can't keep doing this.
07:18I really can.
07:20Uh, see you next game day, I hope.
07:28Dude.
07:29Girl.
07:30Was that?
07:31Yes, it fucking was.
07:38Sorry I'm late.
07:40No outside food or drink.
07:41Fuck off, Kyle.
07:46And I know the whole smoothie thing is dumb, or whatever,
07:48but he just keeps saying my name, and it's low-key making me crazy.
07:52Wait.
07:53You're still coming with me to that fundraiser, though, right?
07:54Because I am not looking for a date.
07:56Yes.
07:57I told you I could come, and it's in, like, two months.
07:59Could you please listen to me?
08:00Kyle?
08:01Remote?
08:07Extra shrimp.
08:09Okay.
08:10Now I'm fully listening.
08:11What are you doing?
08:12Just putting the game on.
08:13Elena.
08:14What?
08:15It's a sports bar.
08:16Let's watch sport.
08:18Am I being crazy?
08:19What does Maria say?
08:20She says he's funny.
08:21Me too.
08:22Well, she is much smarter than you.
08:23I'm probably this idiot.
08:25He's not an idiot.
08:26He's not an idiot.
08:27Jesus.
08:28Right.
08:29When's his next home game?
08:30Come on.
08:31If you don't know when his next home game is,
08:32how are you going to plan your next shift?
08:33I don't plan my shifts.
08:34I just gobble up as many as I can.
08:35Saturday.
08:36They play at home again on Saturday.
08:37Are you working?
08:38Oh.
08:40Fuck.
08:41No.
08:42Fix that.
08:43No.
08:44No.
08:45No.
08:46No.
08:47No.
08:48No.
08:49No.
08:50No.
08:51No.
08:52No.
08:53No.
08:54No.
08:55No.
08:56But what's there is that?
09:00Yeah.
09:01Hey.
09:02I didn't know if you, uh ...
09:10Well, it's nice to see you.
09:14Uh, blue moon over Brooklyn.
09:16Please.
09:17Extra banana.
09:23Hey.
09:24This one's on the house.
09:26Oh, come on.
09:27It's above my pay grade.
09:28Management heard you came in.
09:29And no, you may not tip me.
09:32And yes, I'm using proper grammar to prove to you that I'm being serious.
09:36Okay.
09:39May I drink this here?
09:41I've got some emails to answer, so I thought...
09:44Yeah, you totally may.
09:54You're not worried about breaking your routine?
10:20Uh, no, I'm not actually that obsessive.
10:26Turns out I'm too lazy to be a serial killer.
10:28I took a quiz.
10:30I don't even think I could be a spree killer.
10:33What's a spree killer?
10:35Someone who kills multiple people at the same time.
10:38But isn't...
10:38A serial killer is someone who kills multiple people, minimum three, but over a period of
10:43time, not all at once.
10:47How do you know that?
10:48I read a lot of murder books.
10:53And, uh, yeah, serial killers make me feel not obsessive, which is a relief.
11:01Well, I've read some things about athletes.
11:04Okay.
11:05Before you say anything else, yes, I agree.
11:07And yes, there are at least two guys on my team that are possibly off the record.
11:11Yes, maybe.
11:12But no, not me.
11:14No, I swear.
11:15Barely had two concussions.
11:18Okay, so, what?
11:20No left sock, right sock, stop shaving, no sex, all that stuff?
11:24Oh, no, yeah, yeah, yeah, all of that.
11:25But that's not CTE stuff.
11:26That's just science.
11:27And science only really matters during the playoffs.
11:30Oh, okay, that's super comforting.
11:32Listen, I know you're more of an art guy, so it's not like I expect you to get the ins
11:35and outs of science.
11:37And just to be clear, I'm not complaining about the whole stop shaving thing.
11:41I mean, you all look like hot lumberjacks by the end of May.
11:43Um, do you want to come to my game tonight?
12:00I have two seats.
12:02No one's taken them, so, I mean, if you want.
12:06Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:07Yeah, yeah, I want.
12:10Fuck, man, that's crazy.
12:12I'm super happy to do it.
12:16You sure?
12:18I'm sure.
12:23These are better than my company seats.
12:25I get it.
12:26These are really good seats.
12:27Well, yeah, they're his.
12:31You know, we're first date, but I think I'm into this.
12:34What are you talking about?
12:35Well, you're with a girl, and he's at work.
12:37Oh, my God, shut up, Helena.
12:41Oh, wow.
12:41That wasn't, that wasn't to me.
12:44That was...
12:44He just nodded at you.
12:46No, there's no proof of that.
12:48Come on, boy.
12:54Wait back, for fuck's sake.
12:56Good job, I love you.
13:06I love you.
13:07I love you.
13:08I love you.
13:09Good job.
13:10I love you.
13:11Hey, Hunter.
13:13Too bad you can't play at home every night, right?
13:17It's better for you, huh?
13:18Go fuck yourself, Rosanoff.
13:20All right, it's more fun if you're there.
13:26Hey, thanks.
13:32Hope next time we play, you decide to show up.
13:37Cheap.
13:38True.
13:42Starting to sound like him.
13:43I'm sorry, what?
13:48You fucking heard me, Hollander.
13:50What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
13:52Well, there's something you really don't expect to see, especially after the final whistle,
13:56and especially from Hollander and Hunter, a fittingly brutal end to yet another brutal road
14:01I'm going to hit the sack.
14:08Yeah, here you go, handsome.
14:10All right, have a good day off.
14:12It's not a day off.
14:13I'm doing that catering thing tomorrow.
14:15Yeah, yeah, I just, you know, you get to sleep in for once, which is happy for you.
14:19It's only nice.
14:21You know.
14:22I, uh, I'm proud of your hustle, kiddo.
14:25You know?
14:26You can't get that scholarship anyway, so.
14:28Please, please, no jinxing me.
14:30No way, no way.
14:31Good night.
14:32Night, Dad.
14:33Love you.
14:34Love you, bye.
14:39Motherfucker.
14:46What's happening to you?
14:48What's your problem?
14:48I can't find my black suit, and I have to leave so, so soon.
14:52Okay, well, it's with the dry cleaning in my closet, so why are you freaking out?
14:57Okay, hey, hey, are you okay?
14:59Yeah, I'm fine.
14:59I just, I need the money, and I can't fuck this job up.
15:02Yes, and I get it, but you're not going to fuck it up because you're amazing, and it's
15:06going to be great.
15:08I love you.
15:09Yeah, you too.
15:10Yes, buddy.
15:11I'm so sorry.
15:16Save it.
15:23Motherfucker.
15:24I'm so sorry about that.
15:28I'm really sorry.
15:29Oh, you're a mess.
15:30It's okay.
15:30It's not my only talks.
15:33New York used to have professional waiters.
15:35Now it's all just models who can't carry a tray.
15:37It's, uh, it's really okay.
15:40I'm so sorry again.
15:41Oh, bunny.
15:44Babe, I don't know what that was.
15:46I know.
15:47I'm a complete fuck-up, and I'm sorry.
15:49You're not a complete fuck-up.
15:50This is not rocket science or whatever it is you're into.
15:53Art, Sean, please don't fire me.
15:56No one is firing you.
15:58Just calm down and get your shit together, okay?
16:01Okay.
16:02I know you need the money, baby.
16:04Okay?
16:05Deep breath.
16:06Inhale.
16:08Exhale.
16:11You think you can handle quiche?
16:13They're dry.
16:29Hey.
16:30Hey.
16:31I am so sorry about earlier.
16:33That woman is horrible, and I'm the one who should apologize.
16:36I was standing right in front of the kitchen door like an idiot.
16:38No, I'm the idiot.
16:39You're just a normal, hungry person at a fundraiser.
16:42And that woman did seem horrible.
16:44Full disclosure, I hate this food.
16:45Well, full disclosure, I hate serving it.
16:50I'm sorry.
16:51I have to...
16:51Do you like Mexican food?
16:54Yeah.
16:54Of course.
16:55I'm not a serial killer.
16:57Or even a spree killer.
16:59You sure?
16:59Yeah.
17:00Who has the time?
17:01Do you have the time to grab a bite with me when this thing is over?
17:06Tonight?
17:07Yeah.
17:09With you?
17:10Uh, wow.
17:11Oh.
17:12Yeah.
17:13Yeah, okay.
17:13Yeah.
17:14Yeah.
17:14Because there's, uh, there's this great place right around the corner, and it's open late, and...
17:19Okay.
17:19Um, you don't mind waiting until I'm done?
17:22Not even a little.
17:22Oh.
17:23Oh.
17:23Oh.
17:23Oh.
17:23Oh.
17:24Oh.
17:24Oh.
17:25Oh.
17:25Oh.
17:25Oh.
17:25Oh.
17:26Oh.
17:27Oh.
17:28Oh.
17:29Oh.
17:30Oh.
17:31Oh.
17:32Oh.
17:33Oh.
17:34Oh.
17:35Oh.
17:36Oh.
17:37Oh.
17:38Oh.
17:39Oh.
17:40Oh.
17:41Oh.
17:42Oh.
17:43Oh.
17:45Hi.
17:45Oh.
17:47Oh.
17:52Oh.
17:53Oh.
17:54That's a long line.
17:56Is it worth it?
17:57Um.
17:58Oh.
17:59Probably not.
18:00Right?
18:01Oh.
18:02Oh.
18:03We also don't actually have to do this.
18:05How would you feel about ordering in?
18:13Holy shit.
18:23Oh my god.
18:43I mean, I figured you'd have a nice place, but this is insane.
18:58Do you want a full tour now, or?
19:01Or.
19:02I pick or.
19:13Wow, you are so beautiful.
19:38I can't believe you're even into me.
19:49I'm so into you.
19:51I'm so into you.
19:53I guess I'm thinking about you.
20:08Oh my god.
20:20What are you doing?
20:36Oh, I didn't want to wake you.
20:40And I just thought, since you have your game tomorrow, and, you know.
20:53Can you stay?
20:55Yeah.
20:57Then stay, please.
21:04I'm so into you.
21:11I'm so into you.
21:17I'm so into you.
21:23Did I wake you?
21:37Oh.
21:38Okay.
21:39I meant to surprise you, and I was going to go out and get stuff, but I looked in your fridge,
21:42and you basically had all the ingredients.
21:44I know I shouldn't be snooping around, but I didn't have to do that much snooping.
21:48You were very organized.
21:50And I thought, since I'm not working today, but you still have your game, that you'd probably
21:54still want you.
21:57And I thought, since I'm not working today, I'm not working today, but I'm not working today.
22:06Can I fuck you?
22:09Absolutely.
22:14So...
22:26I should probably go.
22:29Hmm.
22:32Um, what if you didn't...
22:37Go?
22:38Yeah.
22:39Like ever?
22:41Fuck.
22:42Fuck.
22:43All that serial killer talk was you warning me, wasn't it?
22:52Um...
22:53I'm, um...
22:56I'm gonna say a bunch of things, okay?
22:59And...
23:00I know I'm too intense.
23:01Everyone tells me that.
23:02But I just...
23:03I can't help it.
23:04Is it okay?
23:05Can I be too intense?
23:08Yeah.
23:11Um...
23:12Yeah.
23:13I, um...
23:14I never do this.
23:16I never brought anyone back here.
23:20Like ever.
23:21Um...
23:22Yeah.
23:23My life is, uh, is complicated.
23:26Yeah.
23:27Yeah.
23:28I-I get that.
23:33And I can't, um...
23:38Come out, like...
23:41Not, not right now.
23:44Too many people depend on me for too much, and it would just, it would fuck everything up.
23:49Um...
23:50And so I just thought I would, um...
23:52Um...
23:53I don't know.
23:54Wait, I guess.
23:56Yeah.
23:57Wait till...
23:59Hockey was over, and...
24:02And maybe I could fade away better.
24:04But I, um...
24:07You...
24:08It's just, uh...
24:12I want you so bad.
24:17So bad.
24:21And I know that you barely know me, so why would you even consider something that's...
24:26That's probably fucked up.
24:27Like, I-I know I'm fucked up.
24:29I get it.
24:30I'm-I'm not pretending.
24:31I'm not.
24:32But I really, really like you.
24:34And I-I want you to stay.
24:38So I'm-I'm asking for what I want.
24:45I want you to be here when I get back from practice later.
24:48And I, uh, I want you to be here when I come home from my game tonight.
24:55I, um...
24:57I want you more than I've wanted anything in a long time.
25:04Is, uh, is that too much?
25:09You can say it if it is, uh...
25:14Do you say something, though?
25:34I think I'd love to be here when you get back.
25:46And I don't think you're too lazy to be a serial killer.
25:51Really?
25:52Yeah, really.
25:53Yeah, you're definitely not lazy.
25:55I don't know.
26:02Hey.
26:03Hey.
26:04How much practice?
26:12I don't know, like, uh, a few days ago?
26:14Yes, I sent in the applications.
26:16Very aggressive.
26:17Yes, and even to BU.
26:18And yes, I know we hate Boston.
26:21With Elena.
26:22Dad, I'm staying with Elena.
26:23So I don't have to schlep to work.
26:25I get to sleep in an extra hour.
26:26The phone's got the clock to 100 X.
26:28Fuck, yes.
26:30I'm saying that now.
26:31I'm just watching the game.
26:33Yes, with Elena.
26:34Oh, my God.
26:45Where has she even been?
26:46Oh, please, I saw you three days ago.
26:48Single since forever.
26:49Overworked like she has two wicked stepfuses.
26:50Then she gets a man and vanishes.
26:51What a cliche.
26:52I don't have a man.
26:53Hey, kid.
26:54Keep the boyfriend on TV at all times.
26:55Please, Kyle.
26:56Oh, my God, guys.
26:57He's a customer.
26:58He's not my boyfriend.
26:59I don't have a fucking boyfriend.
27:00Fuck.
27:01Oh, my God, guys.
27:02He's a customer.
27:03He's not my boyfriend.
27:04I don't have a fucking boyfriend.
27:05Fuck.
27:06Oh.
27:07Oh.
27:08Oh.
27:09Oh.
27:10Oh.
27:11Oh.
27:16Oh.
27:17Hiya.
27:18Hiya.
27:26Morning, Scott.
27:27Morning, Kevin.
27:28The usual, please.
27:29Yeah.
27:32Extra banana.
27:37I'm not sure what I'm gonna do without these on my road trip.
27:39I'm pretty sure they have smoothies in other cities.
27:41Not like these, they don't.
27:42Do you really think this is a secret?
27:47What's the secret?
27:50Nothing's happening.
27:51He's just flirting with me or whatever.
27:53He's straight, I think.
27:55Girl.
28:04There's pasta salad in the fridge.
28:06Chicken, no feta.
28:07Oh, yeah?
28:08Where?
28:09For me.
28:10I made it.
28:12You dead?
28:19I'm not just a pretty face.
28:20Oh, but you're a very pretty face.
28:27What's that?
28:28It's an artist I love.
28:30He has a new show out.
28:31Oh, cool.
28:32Mm-hmm.
28:33I should buy some art.
28:35What?
28:36Hey, I'm not just a pretty face either.
28:38No, no, no, no.
28:39You're also a very, very hot body.
28:42You don't have to do this.
28:43Is that right?
28:44Is that right?
28:45Is that right?
28:46That's cool.
28:47You don't have to do this.
28:48Is that right?
28:49Is that right?
28:50That's cool.
28:51Okay?
28:52This would look great in the living room.
28:53It would work.
28:54I don't know.
28:55I'm kind of...
28:56Not on the fireplace wall, but on the way to the bedroom.
28:57I think it would...
28:58Shh.
28:59Sorry.
29:00Sorry.
29:01Sorry, I just...
29:02It's okay.
29:03Maybe we should...
29:04Amazing, isn't it?
29:05Yeah, it's beautiful.
29:06So are you two just browsing or shopping to buy?
29:08Oh, I think we're...
29:09Yeah, I think we're just browsing right now.
29:11Yeah.
29:13Excuse me.
29:14Excuse me.
29:15Sorry, he's not feeling well.
29:16I don't know.
29:17Not right.
29:18Oh, I think I'm going to put it on the way to the bedroom.
29:19I think it would...
29:20Shh.
29:21Sorry.
29:22Sorry, I just...
29:23It's okay.
29:24Um...
29:25Maybe we should...
29:26Amazing, isn't it?
29:27Yeah, it's beautiful.
29:29So are you two just browsing or shopping to buy?
29:34Or...
29:35Oh, I think we're...
29:36Yeah, I think we're just browsing right now.
29:37Yeah.
29:39Sorry, he's not feeling well.
29:44No problem.
29:57I'm, uh, I'm really sorry.
30:00I thought I could do that.
30:01I really thought I could.
30:03I wanted to.
30:04I just...
30:04It's okay.
30:06No, it's not.
30:06I know it's not.
30:10Come here.
30:10Come here.
30:37These road trips are just killing me.
30:40I mean, it's brutal.
30:42I think I'm cursed.
30:43Cursed?
30:44Like, scary old lady cursed?
30:46I know.
30:47I know it's dumb, but I'm not the only one who's superstitious.
30:52Would you be jealous if I got my smoothies from some other guy?
30:55Maybe.
30:56Probably.
30:58Well, what if I filled you in on all the juicy details?
31:00Like, like how he blended them?
31:02Ooh, what if I actually was a scary old lady?
31:05Or what if you always kind of had one with you?
31:08What do you mean?
31:10Oh.
31:12Here.
31:15Okay.
31:17Okay, I know it's dumb.
31:19I know it's dumb.
31:20But I saw them at a bodega, and I thought they looked like your smoothie.
31:22I love them.
31:30Yeah?
31:31I love them so much.
31:39Can I fuck you?
31:41Absolutely.
31:41Absolutely.
31:52I love them so much.
31:53I love them so much.
31:54I love them so much.
31:55I love them so much.
31:56I love them so much.
31:57I love them so much.
31:58I love them so much.
31:59I love them so much.
32:00Fuck yes.
32:01That's two tonight.
32:02If you say it out loud, it's the curse broken.
32:05Hunter hasn't scored twice in an away game since last season.
32:15What?
32:16Say it out loud.
32:18Say what?
32:19Okay.
32:21Okay.
32:22It's not...
32:24It's...
32:25What?
32:27Okay.
32:28Here's what I know.
32:29Helena.
32:30Shut up.
32:31You're in love with him.
32:32I'm not in love with him.
32:33You are.
32:36Have you at least told your dad?
32:38For how long now?
32:43A little over two months.
32:45Oh, baby.
32:46Helena, you can't tell.
32:48If anyone finds out that it's...
32:50That it's Scott?
32:52Obviously, I'm not gonna tell anyone, but...
32:54Kip.
32:55He can't come out right now, okay?
32:56He really wants to...
32:59It's amazing.
33:00He's amazing.
33:01And...
33:02I've never been happier.
33:04Honestly.
33:09What's the plan, babe?
33:12I don't...
33:13I don't know.
33:15What does your dad think?
33:17That I'm...
33:18Fucking some married guy, probably.
33:21Kinda wish you were.
33:22Ugh.
33:23Just...
33:24Don't say that.
33:25Please, just...
33:26Please be happy for me.
33:30I can't wait to see you in a tux tomorrow night.
33:33I am gonna be super well behaved for you.
33:35I only care that you're handsome.
33:36You bitch.
33:40Scott's gonna be there tomorrow night, too.
33:42Oh, I know.
33:43And he better be ready for me.
33:45Oh, my God.
34:15Hey, Dad.
34:19Oh, my God, you're not dead.
34:21No, I'm alive.
34:22Well, that is a relief.
34:23I didn't want to have to call them more.
34:24You know, I miss you.
34:26I miss you too, Dad.
34:28All right.
34:29Yeah.
34:30Are you going to be making an appearance here at some point in the near future?
34:32Yes, I will.
34:35I'm going to come for dinner this week, I promise.
34:37Perfect.
34:38How's work?
34:40Well, work is fine.
34:41You know, Barry's being a pain in my ass, but...
34:43Well, Barry's an asshole.
34:45No, he hurt his foot, so at least it's something new this time.
34:48Yeah, well, Barry's always been an asshole.
34:50Who taught you to talk like that?
34:52You did.
34:53You taught me to talk like that.
34:54That sounds about right.
34:57And, um, nothing in the mail, right?
35:00Kip, if there was something in the mail, I would not have forgotten about it.
35:03I know, I know.
35:04I just figured I'd check.
35:06Okay.
35:08Don't worry about that.
35:09Okay.
35:10Don't think about that, okay?
35:11It's going to come when it comes.
35:13Look, I'm not going to keep you.
35:14I love you.
35:15All right.
35:16You too, Dad.
35:17You too, Dad.
35:18What?
35:18I love you too, Dad.
35:21There.
35:21I said it.
35:22Oh, my God.
35:23Sorry it's such a struggle.
35:24Oh, God.
35:24Okay, bye.
35:25Bye-bye.
35:25Bye-bye.
35:25Bye-bye.
35:26Bye-bye.
35:26Bye-bye.
35:27Bye-bye.
35:27Bye-bye.

35:32Bye-bye.
35:33Bye-bye.
35:33Bye-bye.
35:34Bye-bye.
35:34Bye-bye.
35:35Bye-bye.

35:41Bye-bye.
35:42Bye-bye.
35:43Bye-bye.
35:44Bye-bye.
35:55Stop it.
36:24Stop it.
36:25What?
36:27He's here.
36:29You need to chill out.
36:33My God.
36:35Can I have some of yours?
36:37Yeah.
36:38Thanks.
36:42Well, I like our playoff chances this year.
36:44I think we might even get some home ice advantage.
36:46Well, if this guy keeps playing the way he has been, maybe.
36:49What changed?
36:51You mean a nice girl or something?
36:53I think we just found an agreement with the team.
36:55Excuse me, gentlemen.
36:57I think I spotted an old friend.
36:59I'm just ribbing you, Scott.
37:01You know your parents would be so proud of you, right?
37:04Your mom especially.
37:05She would have just been thrilled.
37:07Thanks, Tom.
37:09Thanks.
37:10Excuse me.
37:15Hey.
37:16Okay?
37:17Yeah.
37:18Yeah.
37:19I should be used to it.
37:21I'm Kim, right?
37:22Christopher.
37:23When he's all dressed up.
37:24I'm Elena.
37:25Nice to meet you, Elena.
37:26I'm Scott.
37:27Pleasure.
37:28Scott.
37:29You look beautiful.
37:30You both do.
37:31Sorry.
37:32Yeah.
37:33We both clean up pretty well.
37:35Okay.
37:36If I go get more drinks, do you promise to start talking, Christopher?
37:38Yes.
37:39Of course.
37:40Great.
37:41Another beer, Scott?
37:42That'd be lovely.
37:44Are you enjoying the evening?
37:46I am.
37:47Are you?
37:48Looking forward to the after party, honestly.
37:57Are you enjoying the evening?
38:03I am.
38:04Are you?
38:06Looking forward to the after party, honestly.
38:12Tucks this perfectly.
38:14Thanks.
38:15And thanks.
38:17I mean, you didn't have to.
38:18I wanted to.
38:23Okay.
38:23Okay.
38:26Elena knows.
38:28And I'm sorry.
38:30Yeah.
38:31I kind of got that.
38:33It's okay.
38:34She's discreet, right?
38:36Yeah, totally.
38:37Totally.
38:38I just...
38:39She kind of figured it out.
38:40And I guess I had to tell someone.
38:43It's okay.
38:44Really?
38:45Okay.
38:49This is so weird.
38:52Yeah.
38:53You should leave early, as soon as I do my speech.
38:55Not before you dance with me.
38:57Pardon?
38:58I want to dance.
39:00Elena's a killer.
39:02How could I possibly say no?
39:09So, what are your intentions with my kid?
39:12I'm serious.
39:14He's crazy about you.
39:16I'm crazy about him, too.
39:17I really am.
39:19He's also miserable.
39:20Are you miserable, too?
39:25No.
39:28Wait.
39:29What do you mean?
39:31Nobody wants to be kept a secret.
39:32He's not.
39:33He is.
39:36Eyes on me, handsome.
39:37I'm doing my best.
39:42I...
39:42I love him.
39:43I just can't do better right now.
39:45I...
39:46I've been honest.
39:48I know.
39:49And he's so in love with you that he'll put up with it.
39:54But it's killing him.
39:56I'm not saying any of this to be mean.
40:03I'm really not.
40:04And you seem great.
40:06But he's great, too.
40:12He deserves the best.
40:16He deserves sunshine.
40:17And so do you.
40:37It's my birthday on Sunday.
40:40I know.
40:41I already got the key to her lined up.
40:43Surf and turf.
40:45Because we're not choosing.
40:46You know, uh, the Kingfisher?
40:50It's the bar I told you about where I watch all your games?
40:53Mm-hmm.
40:54A couple of my friends are throwing me just like a little party there.
40:58It's not even really a party.
41:00It's just hanging out or whatever.
41:02Right.
41:03It's a...
41:04It's a gay bar.
41:05But it's not a club.
41:07It's just a bar.
41:08It's honestly more of a hockey bar now, thanks to me.
41:11It's too.
41:12And I was thinking that you could just come as my friend.
41:16As somebody who buys smoothies from me.
41:18I mean, Maria knows.
41:19My friend Sean knows.
41:21They know that you buy smoothies from me.
41:24I can't.
41:31I can't do that.
41:35I wish I could.
41:36I want to.
41:37I want to tell everyone.
41:42I want people to know you're mine.
41:44That I love you.
41:47I love you too.
41:49Soon, maybe.
41:50I mean, in a few years.
41:59I know.
42:00I know how it sounds.
42:01But it'll go by quickly.
42:03I promise.
42:05And then we can be normal with...
42:06Like...
42:07Like other people.
42:08I heard what you said in your speech tonight.
42:16And I know that they're your family.
42:19And that you feel responsible for them.
42:21And I get that, Scott.
42:22I really, really get that.
42:27But...
42:27I have a family too.
42:30And I keep lying to them.
42:33And I don't want to.
42:36And I miss them.
42:37I miss my dad.
42:41Sorry.
42:42That's not what I meant.
42:43It's okay.
42:44I know what you meant.
42:49I'm gonna go home tonight.
42:51I need to.
43:24Thank you for coming.
43:26For those of you who've attended before,
43:28feel free to ignore my sob story
43:29and go straight to the bar.
43:32But for those of you who don't know it,
43:34here's the short version.
43:37My parents were both junior hockey coaches.
43:42And they were hit by a drunk driver
43:44when I was 12 years old.
43:47Mercifully for them, they died instantly.
43:50Mercifully for me,
43:51the St. Thomas Scholarships existed.
43:56I didn't have anybody else to help me.
44:01I had a lot of memories,
44:02a love of hockey,
44:03and a huge hole in my heart.
44:07St. Thomas filled it with hope.
44:10The hope of a new family.
44:13Things weren't always easy.
44:15You know, they never are for anybody.
44:17But in hockey, I found what I was missing.
44:22First at my high school,
44:24then later at college,
44:25and now here with the admirals.
44:26And I never looked back
44:29because I never had to.
44:34The family I craved,
44:36the family that I needed,
44:37that I still need today,
44:40hockey gave it to me.
44:43And St. Thomas gave me hockey.
44:45So from the bottom of my heart,
44:49I want to thank you all
44:50for being here tonight
44:51and for supporting this cause
44:53because it's not just a scholarship.
44:55It's everything that comes with it.
44:58It's a whole world,
44:59a whole life.
45:01It's, uh...
45:01It's everything.
45:24Get up.
