01:37Allah's messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said
01:40Islam is based on the following five principles
01:43to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah
01:47and Muhammad is Allah's messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
01:51to offer the compulsory congregational prayers
01:54dutifully and perfectly
01:56to pay zakah i.e. obligatory charity
02:00to perform hajj
02:02i.e. pilgrimage to Mecca
02:04to observe fast during the month of Ramadan
