00:38From Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, it's time for New York Knicks basketball.
00:43Presented by Chase as the Knickerbockers visit the Indiana Pacers.
00:49Well, the NBA Cup is over, but no rest for the weary.
00:53Right back to work as the Knicks start a road home back to back tonight
00:57and three games and four nights as they face off against the Pacers for the very first time this season.
01:05And good evening, everyone. Along with Clyde Frazier, Mike Green on hand from Las Vegas right to Indianapolis
01:11and right back to work. And the Knicks, Clyde, coming off one of their best performances,
01:15maybe the best performance of the season in defeating the Spurs in the championship game.
01:19And not just because they won the Cup, but because how well they played.
01:23But overall, what was your view of how they played and your thoughts on the NBA Cup?
01:27Well, I like the way they played, Mike. I also like their enthusiasm in winning the Cup.
01:32They showed that they were really happy, proud, looking to camaraderie.
01:35So, well-deserved, collective effort.
01:40And what about that bench, Mike? The bench came through.
01:43Everybody enjoying this Cup win for the New York Knicks.
01:47The Knicks say they have now moved on and ready to continue and get to much loftier goals
01:54for the rest of the season and into the playoffs.
01:56But they're going to do it shorthanded tonight.
01:58The Knicks will be missing several key players.
02:00Some of them obviously have been out for a bit.
02:02Landry Schammett, Miles McBride still out.
02:04But Mitchell Robinson, Josh Hart, and Karl-Anthony Towns all will not play tonight.
02:09Not sure if they'll play tomorrow night, those three on a day-to-day basis.
02:12So the Knicks are certainly going to be shorthanded.
02:15But, Clyde, one of the keys to the victory was the bench play.
02:18And Tyler Kolick simply had the best game of his brief NBA career.
02:21And unequivocally his best game as a Knick.
02:24So he's doing all the things that we thought he could do.
02:27Wasn't hesitating with his shooting.
02:30You can see there stopping and popping again.
02:32Showing that infinite range.
02:34Creating off the bounce.
02:36So adding Ackman in his game.
02:38Making guys around him better.
02:40Dishing and penetrating.
02:42Created, look at this.
02:43The dexterity with the right hand.
02:45So Kolick had it all.
02:47He did it all.
02:48In a nick of time, propelling the Knicks to the Cup.
02:51Well, he's been back in the rotation the past 11 games.
02:54And you see the growth every single night.
02:57And it all came to a head in the championship game against the Spurs.
03:01So big in that fourth quarter of the victory.
03:03Now, for the Indiana Pacers, it's been a rough year.
03:05They are so banged up of injuries.
03:07Obviously Tyrese Halliburton out for the year.
03:09But so many other key players have been out.
03:11They're 6-20.
03:12It's the second worst record in the East.
03:14So for them to be competitive, the healthy guys have to come up big.
03:18And that, of course, is Pascal Siakam.
03:20Yeah, Siakam having another career season.
03:22He was an All-Star last year.
03:24The MVP in the Eastern Conference Finals.
03:26So you know what he can do, folks.
03:28He can penetrate.
03:29He's got the mid-range.
03:30He likes to isolate and devastate.
03:32So the Knicks have to get up on him, try to double him maybe.
03:35Also, keep him from penetrating off the bounce.
03:38He leads the team in scoring and rebounding.
03:41So he can shake and bake.
03:43But I think they're going to be up to the task tonight.
03:45The man from Cameroon put him in a swoon.
03:48Well, he is one of the most underrated or unheralded star players in the game.
03:53He's been All-NBA.
03:54He's been All-NBA.
03:55He's been an All-Star.
03:56And still, a lot of people don't talk about him having a huge year
03:59and what's been so far a disappointing season for the Indiana Pacers.
04:03So, meanwhile, in the starting lineup, Mo Dioara, the 20-year-old rookie from France.
04:08This is only his 18th game of his NBA career.
04:11He's only played 55 total minutes.
04:14But tonight, when the starting lineups are announced, he will run out on the floor
04:18and gets his very first start in the NBA.
04:21So, Knicks and Pacers, first time this season.
04:24Knicks again, they said they've moved past the NBA Cup already
04:27and on to bigger and better things as they start a tough stretch
04:30in terms of a lot of games coming right up at them.
04:33Knicks and Pacers tonight here on MSG.
04:36He's bright.
04:42And the fire keeping us warm here in our Delta MSG studios.
04:45Bill Tito along with Wally Zerbiak.
04:47Great to have you with us.
04:48Caesar's Sportsbook presents tonight's advanced stats.
04:51OG Ananobi led the Knicks against the Spurs with 28 points, Wally.
04:54The fire is like OG's shooting of late in the Final Four there in the NBA Cup.
05:00He shot eight for 14 from the three-point line, averaged 26 points.
05:04And he was defensive player of the game in the final game against the Spurs.
05:07OG continuing to dominate on both ends of the floor.
05:11Looking forward to tonight.
05:12All right, opening tip is next with Mike and Clyde.
05:15Nick in Indianapolis as the Knicks and Pacers meet for the first time this season.
05:19Holiday season brought to you by Sprite.
05:24As we take a look at the starting lineups for tonight.
05:27And again, a couple of changes with no towns, with no heart.
05:30As Ariel Hukporti will get his third start of the season in the middle.
05:35And Mohamed Diawara, the rookie, gets his very first NBA start.
05:39And Ananobi Bridges and Brunson round it out.
05:41Ethan Thompson, the rookie for the Indiana Pacers.
05:44Time for Find Your Pace presented by Experience Abu Dhabi.
05:48Clyde, your keys for tonight.
05:49Yeah, this is a swishing.
05:50The Pacers are the lowest scoring team.
05:53The Knicks are one of the highest scoring.
05:55Bound down in the sound.
05:56And you saw the cup.
05:57The Knicks 25 offensive rebounds catapulted them to the victory.
06:01And they did it with teamwork.
06:03Especially tonight with some going in guys out.
06:06They're going to have to do it a collective effort.
06:08They come away with a victory tonight.
06:10A much needed victory against this Pacer team.
06:14Meanwhile, Pacers have not played since Sunday.
06:17And they've only played in two games in the past nine days.
06:22Knicks, of course, traveled west to east.
06:25And a very quick turnaround.
06:26Especially after a night of celebration.
06:28After winning the NBA Cup.
06:30Brunson knocks it away.
06:31Ball tip taken by Diawara.
06:33Good defense from Brunson.
06:34Diawara drives.
06:35Layup.
06:36Gets it to go.
06:37In his first NBA start, he gets the first bucket of the game.
06:40Yeah, it goes 48 feet.
06:42Hooping and hooping off the turnover.
06:45Impressive defense down the other end.
06:47Benedict Matherin pulls up.
06:49His jumper misses.
06:50Long rebound out to Huff.
06:52Nimhard launches that three-pointer in his field.
06:55Nimhard averaging 18 a game.
06:58Least him in addition as well.
07:00Straight on with the hoop.
07:02Now, Nimhard is a terrific player.
07:05As Brunson being guarded by Nimhard.
07:08Nick fans have seen Nimhard a lot in the last couple of years.
07:11Playoffs.
07:12OG Ananobi misfires on that one.
07:15So Siakam blocking out.
07:16That's a lost start today in the NBA.
07:18Ananobi, by the way, Clive, was questionable.
07:21As Nimhard gets inside.
07:22Well met there by Huck Portie.
07:24Good help defense.
07:26Diawara finds Brunson.
07:28Brunson with the jumper.
07:29That's good.
07:30Brunson uses a benefactor.
07:32This time the beneficiary on the right elbow.
07:35Diawara with a nice pass on that.
07:38The corner three side of the backboard.
07:41From Thompson, here comes Jalen Brunson.
07:45Huck Portie against Huff.
07:47Couple of fakes.
07:48Layup.
07:49Can't get it.
07:50Huff, quick outlet.
07:51Good intimidating by Huff.
07:52He leads the league and blocked shots, folks.
07:54Two for game.
07:55Now Dupie.
07:56And Huff takes it.
07:57Oh, shot blocked for the foul.
07:59And as Ananobi came over to help out.
08:01Take a look at Huff previously on the defense.
08:04He's playing good D.
08:06I mentioned the two blocked shots to lead the league.
08:09Huff.
08:10But watch the opposite prowls right there.
08:12Getting Ducks 40 in the air.
08:14So he's at the line for two.
08:17So Huff in his first year at Indiana.
08:19It's his 15 and five years.
08:21He actually leads the NBA in blocks per game.
08:25Now Victor Wimbanyama would.
08:26But he has not played enough games because he'd been out with injury for a while.
08:30But Huff with them losing Miles Turner with a couple of other players being banged up has become a very important player for them.
08:39There you see the numbers and a good touch from the free throw line.
08:44And it's been a nice find for this team.
08:47Meanwhile, they did switch their starting line.
08:49And Quentin Jackson is actually starting.
08:51It's not the rookie.
08:53So Bridges has it.
08:56Jackson guarding Bridges.
08:58Diawara.
08:59It's a good ball handler.
09:00Pass inside to Huff 40.
09:02Back up top Brunson.
09:03He's going to try another three.
09:04That one well short.
09:05Brunson gets his own rebound.
09:07Right back up.
09:08Can't get it.
09:11Both teams very offensive line.
09:13To start the game.
09:15Siakam.
09:16One on one with Ananobi.
09:17A couple of former Raptors.
09:19Siakam can't get it.
09:20Ananobi the rebound.
09:21But a whistle and a foul.
09:22A belated whistle.
09:24After the shot was taken, they blew the whistle.
09:27That's two on Ananobi.
09:29And he'll take a seat.
09:32So, Mike Brown's going to have to go deep in the bench.
09:36Trey Jemisin is going to get a chance to play.
09:39Jemisin has only played 10 minutes this season.
09:42This will be his fourth appearance.
09:44And Ananobi folks born in London.
09:46But went to college at Indiana.
09:49So, kind of somewhat of a homecoming for him.
09:52As he will leave the game now with the two fouls.
09:55There's O.G.
09:57Coming off a 28 point performance.
10:00The last game.
10:02Yabaselli's going to come in.
10:03Huck Porte will sit down.
10:05Interesting early substitution for Huck Porte.
10:08We know why Ananobi came out with the two fouls.
10:11Mike Brown immediately stops him and talks to him.
10:13Huck Porte's had some, again, limited minutes.
10:17But some impactful minutes recently with some good hustle plays.
10:21Especially blocking shots and rebounding.
10:24Well, we've seen Mike Brown do this a lot.
10:27Before the player takes the bench when he comes out.
10:30Sometimes a pep talk.
10:31Sometimes yells at him.
10:32Sometimes just giving him some pointers.
10:34He's going right back in the game, by the way.
10:36The only reason he took him out was so he could talk to him.
10:40Diawara drives.
10:42Gets inside.
10:43Reverse can't get it.
10:44Jemison with a rebound.
10:45Brunson wide open three in the corner.
10:47Comes up short.
10:48Jemison another rebound.
10:49Brunson misses last three shots.
10:53Jemison throws it away.
10:55Here comes Siakam down the other end.
10:57Drives inside.
10:58Spinned.
10:59Lost it.
11:00Last touch by Siakam.
11:01Good defense from Yabaselli.
11:03Siakam in disarray.
11:04Both teams need to settle down.
11:06They've lost their composure.
11:07There's Huck Forty returning to the game.
11:10The Knicks will bring it up.
11:13So Jemison will come out playing less than a minute.
11:16That's interesting how Mike Brown certainly had some direct things to say to Huck Forty.
11:22Took him out of the game just for that.
11:24Good defense here from Jackson.
11:29Brunson drives on Nimoy.
11:31And gets tripped up.
11:33Pacers don't like the call.
11:38It's going to go against Nimoy.
11:39And a crowd.
11:42Very hostile now.
11:45Not liking this call.
11:47And right down.
11:48It's a challenge.
11:49He never touched Brunson.
11:50He's going to challenge.
11:51And then Brunson fell down.
11:55The crowd is happy with the challenge.
11:57Rick Carlisle came out.
11:58Twirled his finger.
11:59The green light went on.
12:00And we'll have a timeout.
12:03Yeah.
12:04I think they'll win that one folks.
12:05Brunson had missed his last three shots.
12:07Stumbling and bumbling there to get to the line.
12:10Maybe.
12:11Well the Pacers replay challenge.
12:15Unsuccessful.
12:16Watch here.
12:17Nim hard.
12:18Yeah.
12:19You saw the right hand just go under his right armpit.
12:23There's the reach right there.
12:24So an unsuccessful challenge.
12:26Didn't see that on one of the replays Clyde.
12:28Yeah.
12:29Caught him red handed.
12:30And the coach challenge brought to you by Sprite.
12:35So Brunson will go to the free throw line.
12:38Brunson needed that.
12:39He missed his last three shots.
12:41Shots coming up short.
12:42Maybe a little fatigue.
12:44But he's at the line looking for two.
12:47So Rick Carlisle done with challenges for the rest of the game.
12:51What Jalen Brunson did after the game the other night in Las Vegas.
12:55He wins the NBA Cup MVP.
12:57He's interviewed on national TV.
12:59And before he gives an answer.
13:01He says can I say something please.
13:03And then he talked about.
13:05The other players.
13:06O.G. Ananobi.
13:09Tyler Kolick.
13:11Jordan Clarkson.
13:12And Mitchell Rodman says we don't win it if not for them.
13:15That's true leadership from a captain.
13:17Right.
13:18Bravo.
13:19And kudos to his teammates.
13:21And it was well deserved.
13:23We featured him at the top of the show.
13:25Especially Kolick.
13:26And his scoring prowess.
13:28Clyde that means a lot to the other players when he does stuff like that.
13:32Yeah it does Mike.
13:33Huff's a good three point shooter.
13:35But that one not close.
13:36Meanwhile Yabaselli getting some early minutes.
13:38He did not play in the championship game.
13:40And now with guys out.
13:42He got a chance.
13:43Oh he throws it away.
13:44Last touch by Nimhard.
13:45Yeah.
13:46Nimhard omnipresent right now.
13:50Brunson two inbound.
13:53Mike Brown by the way back in Indianapolis.
13:55He was an assistant coach.
13:5720 years ago for Rick Carlisle.
13:59Yabaselli and Siakam.
14:00Nice spin move.
14:01And lost it out of bounds.
14:02Boy there was a lot of contact down there.
14:03They were Kung Fu fighting.
14:05All along the beast line.
14:07But that shows you the fishers letting him play early on.
14:15Yabaselli fighting through the screen.
14:17There's Jackson.
14:18Kicks it over to Huff.
14:19Nimhard on the bounce.
14:21Jackson launches his three pointer.
14:22That's good.
14:23Point of that's good.
14:25Wynton Jackson shooting 43%.
14:27He hasn't played a lot.
14:28This is only his seventh game and his fourth start.
14:34Bridges.
14:36Can't get that to go.
14:37And Huckporti knocks it out of bounds.
14:39For the Pacers.
14:40They've had 13 different players miss games with injuries.
14:44They've had 25 different players on the roster already.
14:48And 23 of them have played minutes.
14:51And we're still in December.
14:52Well you Obi Toppin fans.
14:54Toppin has been out.
14:55Still no timetable for his return.
14:58He's missing his 24th game.
15:00Siakam throws it up.
15:01And Huff throws it down.
15:03There's Obi Toppin.
15:04Has a fracture in his foot.
15:06Aaron Neesmith is missing his 16th game.
15:09McConnell missed 10.
15:10Matherin missed 11.
15:11Jackson missed 9.
15:12And of course Halliburton now for the season.
15:14With that Achilles that he tore in game 7.
15:17Bridges.
15:18Yabaselli.
15:19Way off.
15:20Comes right back out.
15:21Brunson.
15:22He'll try a 3 pointer.
15:23Yabaselli offensive rebound.
15:25Nick's doing a good job on the boards.
15:27But then Yabaselli throws it out of bounds.
15:30Yeah.
15:31Second turnover already for Yabaselli.
15:33So the Pacers will bring it up.
15:36You know Clyde he's in a spot now where like every turnover.
15:40Every missed shot.
15:41Every defensive mistake is just so magnified because he so desperately wants to play well.
15:47Get back in the good graces.
15:48Get a little rhythm going.
15:49And that's what happens when you're doing that Mike.
15:51You start to be vulnerable to turnover.
15:53Yeah.
15:54It's a hard way to play as Matherin knocks that down when you're worried about any little miscue.
16:00Yeah.
16:01Matherin averaged 20 a game.
16:02So he can be prolific.
16:04I think.
16:05Nick's meanwhile down by 8.
16:07As the Pacers on a nice run here.
16:10The Knicks have been one and done.
16:13Jemison hands off.
16:15Yabaselli up top to Diawara.
16:17Did not expect Yabaselli, Jemison and Diawara playing.
16:20And Jemison called for a moving screen.
16:23Matherin getting over the screen with Gusto.
16:27So the Knicks blundering continues as the Pacers will bring it up.
16:34Huff and Jackson sit down.
16:37There's one of the guys Brunson was banned on with Stu.
16:40Yep.
16:44Jarris Walker checks in for the Pacers.
16:50Isaiah Jackson as well.
16:52Nimhart.
16:53Jumpers good.
16:5413-1 run now.
16:55Knicks down by double figures.
16:57Nimhart thrives in the mid-range area.
16:59Especially bouncing and announcing.
17:04Brunson kicks it back up top.
17:05Bridges.
17:06Yabaselli fires away and hits the three.
17:08And that has to feel so good, Clyde Ray.
17:10You should give him some confidence now.
17:12There was no hesitation on that.
17:14And that's what you liked about it.
17:16Matherin trying to defend Nismith.
17:18Matherin kicks it out in the corner.
17:22Oh.
17:23Boy, Jackson was, looked like it was uncomfortable throughout that whole move.
17:28Yeah, but improvising off the glass was Jackson.
17:31Brunson being hounded.
17:33Base has been relentless.
17:35Bad pass stolen by Nimhart.
17:37Nimhart drives down and stepped on Brunson's foot.
17:41Count it and a foul.
17:43And a chance for a three-point play.
17:46And a rough start for the Knicks here in the first quarter.
17:49Basketball is a game of improvisation.
17:52We just saw Jackson wheeling and dealing.
17:55And now Nimhart stealing and thrilling off the glass right this hoop.
18:00So he's at the line for one as well.
18:03Nimhart, the man from Canada.
18:05Canadian players swooping and hooping.
18:08With Halliburton out, he's the starting point guard.
18:11And again, he missed a bunch of games.
18:14Missed eight of them earlier.
18:16Bridges will sit down.
18:17Tyler Kolek comes in.
18:20And the pace is on the rampage.
18:23Scoring at will now.
18:25See Garrison Matthews come in.
18:27Matthews was the last cut of the Knicks back in the preseason.
18:33But caught on.
18:34First couple of ten-day contracts, then a standard contract.
18:38I wonder how much action Brunson gets tonight the way things are going.
18:43Kolek gets in the paint.
18:46Leans in.
18:47Jump shot.
18:48That misses.
18:49Jemison tried to keep it alive.
18:50Mather in the other way.
18:53Mather knows he can take Kolek.
18:55Gives it up.
19:00Isaiah Jackson.
19:01Mather launches.
19:02That's good.
19:03Right now the Pacers pummeling the Knicks.
19:06It's contagious.
19:07Outrageous.
19:08They're shooting.
19:12Clarkson gets inside.
19:14Layup.
19:15Foul.
19:16Good move from Clarkson.
19:17Knicks needed a bucket there and a chance for a three-point play.
19:20Clarkson known for his three-point prowess.
19:22But as a Knick, he's done a lot of this right here, folks.
19:26Penetrating.
19:27Creating.
19:28So overwhelming of that time.
19:30Watch off the bounce.
19:31He's a right-hander going all the way into the shot with his left hand.
19:36The clock.
19:37His drives to the rim.
19:39His floaters in the paint are a big part of his arsenal as he completes the three-point play.
19:43He had just a terrific game.
19:45He has assists up as well.
19:47Over three for a game.
19:48Fifteen points against the Spurs in the championship game in Vegas.
19:51Matherin's got it going.
19:53He's three for four from the field.
19:55Pacers are shooting 69 percent.
19:58The Knicks at 29 percent.
20:00Remember we saw that in a playoff game at the Garden.
20:03They set a record.
20:04But not these guys.
20:05These are the good guys.
20:06Coler.
20:07Goes inside.
20:08Gets to the Abusselli.
20:09Shot blocked by Jackson.
20:10Picked up by Nimhori.
20:11Jackson is 16.
20:12Doing a good job.
20:13Pace is very cohesive now.
20:14Matthews off the bounce.
20:15Drives.
20:16Layup is good.
20:17And a timeout called by Mike Brown.
20:18Matthews, by the way.
20:19He's a good guy.
20:20He's a good guy.
20:21He's a good guy.
20:22He's a good guy.
20:23He's a good guy.
20:24He's a good guy.
20:25He's a good guy.
20:26He's a good guy.
20:27He's a good guy.
20:28He's a good guy.
20:29He's a good guy.
20:30He's a good guy.
20:31Matthews, by the way.
20:33That's his 43rd shot of the season.
20:36And it's only his fourth shot inside the arc.
20:41And there's the penetration and creation.
20:44The Pacers marauding Rem from the NBA Cup.
20:49Where they won the 20-25 in-season tournament.
20:53Jalen Brunson, the NBA Cup MVP.
20:56But he had 20 out.
20:57OG Ananobi had two terrific games in Las Vegas.
21:00And the Knicks bench was sensational.
21:03Especially in that fourth quarter.
21:05Tyler Kohler getting it done.
21:06Jordan Clarkson.
21:07They played big minutes in that fourth quarter.
21:09Mike Brown kept them in the game because they sparked a comeback.
21:12And Mitchell Robinson was once again dominant.
21:15One of the great offensive redonic performances.
21:18And a lot of credit to Mike Brown the way he handled that down the stretch.
21:22And Knicks were struggling a bit at the end of the third quarter.
21:25The bench turned it around and he kept them in the game.
21:27Let's see what he's going to do tonight.
21:29They're struggling again against the worst of the 30 teams.
21:33The Pacers are 29th in scoring.
21:35And they're giving the Knicks all they can handle right now.
21:38Well, this is not necessarily shocking with what's happened this week.
21:42The travel, the games, as Brunson banks that home.
21:45The two previous teams that won the Cup, both Milwaukee and the Lakers, have some struggles right afterwards.
21:54It makes the schedule a little difficult for the teams that win it.
21:58Matherin throws it up.
21:59Broken up.
22:00Matherin gets it back.
22:01Pocombe Dottier in the game.
22:04For all three Frenchmen have already played as Clarkson knocks down the three-pointer.
22:09In five consecutive points now.
22:11Riesel Blutson off the glass and now Clarkson downtown.
22:14Clarkson, meanwhile, that's going to call a two-pointer foot on the line.
22:19Nimhart.
22:20Up top, Matherin.
22:22Matherin can't get it.
22:23Fight for the rebound.
22:24Timeouts seem to energize the Knicks now.
22:29Lamar Pepp in their step.
22:30Here's Diawara.
22:31Barrows in and an offensive foul.
22:33Matherin took a hard shot in a rough spot.
22:38And he's hurting right now.
22:39Diawara opened the game with a steal and going 48 feet to score.
22:44This time, he should stop, folks.
22:46Look at this.
22:47He had already made up his mind what he was going to do.
22:50But Matthews does a good job reading his mind.
22:53The Pacers will have it.
22:55That's some NBA bravery right there as he steps in.
22:59And the sensitive spot.
23:01Need a little shake it up.
23:02He's going to come out.
23:03Matthews, by the way, two different times in his career, he was in the top ten.
23:08I think one year he was fourth in the NBA in charges drawn.
23:12T.J. McConnell has checked in.
23:16You know, he's a nickname.
23:18This is a long time.

50:38Сending them to the free throw line.
50:40Thompson, the rookie, with his first.
50:43Brunson and Kolek have played together a bunch,
50:45including the fourth quarter of the NBA Cup Championship game.
50:50Boy, Kolek just playing with such confidence.
50:55Brunson now 16 points in the first half.
50:57It's back to two.
51:02Game.
51:03Have the Knicks ever led in this game?
51:06Yes.
51:06They scored the first points.
51:07Dio Wauer, yeah.
51:09Dio Wauer scored the first two.
51:11Siakam.
51:12He's got Brunson on him.
51:15They call a foul on Brunson.
51:17Siakam will shoot two.
51:18Siakam 6'9", Brunson 6'2".
51:21So using and abusing him to get to the free throw line.
51:25Second foul on Brunson.
51:28Siakam didn't start playing basketball, folks,
51:31until he was 17 years of age.
51:33He had three older brothers who played Division I,
51:35but he was more of a soccer player coming up with Siakam.
51:39As you mentioned before, born in Cameroon.
51:42Cameroon.
51:42He and Embiid.
51:43Embiid also a Cameroonian.
51:46His rookie year, he averaged four points per game.
51:48Our time on the court presented by ChevyOffers.com.
51:53In the three NBA Cup knockout round games in Toronto.
51:57In the two games in Vegas, he had the best plus-minus on the entire team.
52:03Colgan was talking.
52:03I heard the guys talking that he was going to buy his father a car.
52:07Well, he bought his mother a car with the winnings last year.
52:09Right.
52:10So he's another one.
52:11He makes $2.1 million, and he gets 25% of his salary by the Knicks win in the NBA Cup.
52:21Brunson.
52:21Bridges.
52:22Bridges tries a three.
52:23That's good.
52:24Good ball moving.
52:25And it's back to a one-point game.
52:27Yeah, Bridges early on at that score.
52:28But now finding the range that time in the corner, 22 feet away.
52:33Matherin inside Siakam.
52:39Misses the right hand.
52:40The tip don't go by Bradley, but he gets it again.
52:42Missed it again.
52:43Siakam with the tip.
52:45Good second and third effort from the Pacers.
52:48Persistence personified by the Pacers.
52:52Brunson being hounded by Nimhard.
52:55Brunson 16 points, three assists here on the first end.
52:58He's got two steals as well.
53:00Brunson gets inside.
53:01Turns, shoots, fires.
53:02And scores.
53:0418 first-half points.
53:06Vince is Brunson that time stopping and popping.
53:17Mollick guarding Nimhard.
53:19Screamed off by Siakam.
53:21Shot clock at seven.
53:23Siakam has Koleg on him.
53:24Here comes the help.
53:25Siakam.
53:26Close it up.
53:27Bradley to rebound.
53:28Missed it, but a foul.
53:29A 40 will be called for his second foul.
53:35Bradley previously missed two or three shots underneath.
53:38Now we'll go to the line for two.
53:40By the way, Clyde, I'm talking about the money in the NBA Cup that the players get.
53:46A number of the Knicks, the highest paid players, the top guys gave a significant chunk of their winnings to staff members who didn't get bonus money.
53:57Mike Brown did as well.
53:59They have a big chunk of what he won in the NBA Cup to members of his coaching staff.
54:05And some of those guys there that make the big bucks make sure, because there's so many people on the staff, both in the video department, the medical department, the training department, and the Seusses.
54:17And the players really took care of them.
54:19Yeah, I like that.
54:20I'm not surprised, because the camaraderie that they have, the respect that they have for their workers as well.
54:28Shot clock turned off.
54:28No fouls to give.
54:29Brunson drives on Midhardt.
54:31Stops.
54:32Shoots Park.
54:32Shot.
54:33No good.
54:34And that will end the first half.
54:36A wild first half.
54:37Knicks started slowly, trailed by as many as 16.
54:41Pacers are playing great basketball.
54:42And the Knicks storm back, led by Jalen Brunson's 18, but the bench once again.
54:48Clarkson with 12 points.
54:50Call it nine points and three assists.
54:53Knicks without Towns, Hart, Robinson, McBride, and Schammett.
54:57Versus Pacers without Halliburton.
55:00The Knicks trying to bounce back and get a win on the road.
55:03Two quarters complete here in Indianapolis.
55:0562-59.
55:06Knicks down by three.
55:07Verizon halftime next.
