00:00So often people ask me what I think is on the top of the Christmas tree and many people always go
00:04ahead like oh yeah you want adrenaline you know you want adventure but in reality it's conservation
00:09you know because for me it's always like knowing and learning about how nature operates and how
00:13it communicates and everything else. I feel like that often many people walk blind when they're
00:18going bushwalks it's a nice feeling and they know they get something out of it but in reality they
00:22don't understand fully how mycelium works, the soil food web, how the trees communicate and so
00:27that's literally the same thing here on the entire cliff park because we have everything down the
00:32forest and we learn more about the ecology of the forest and then you get to the cliff and as you've
00:36seen up on the top we have like 28 million year old geodes we have petrified wood we don't go out
00:43because like all of this those mountains here and the ridges have been created through the lava flow
00:47and with this coming and seeing those different levels is absolutely incredible and so forth is
00:53really you know nature called us here because it's really something you know like when you go on some
00:58of the bush hikes it's absolutely gorgeous but you never have that view and even in some of the places
01:03where you have the view it always feels like you're on top of it and in reality we are within it we are
01:09one with it right like and so the thing here which we are really privileged of is you're standing at the
01:15edge of the cliff and you're in the view and so therefore you're feeling like the small speckle in
01:20nature and that's what it's all about and really connecting with it immersing yourself in it while
01:24also pushing your uh your comfort zone so mainly from for me it was i was always into people might
01:30call it extreme sports where i find it's more like real purpose uh sports which is like you know the
01:37slacklining and the highlining between mountains or paragliding it's always like you go into nature
01:42and you're always at the mercy of nature right so you either need to wait until the wind is right
01:46you need to either go ahead and um you know try to rig it in the right spots but then you might have
01:51the wind that that's uh impacting your slacklining or the weather or whatever else it might be
01:56and so the real thing it always comes down to is that feeling of uh your voice is in your mind
02:02right so you push yourself through and you think you have various limiting beliefs and then you go
02:08ahead and like you that's kind of where you shut up but then the moment you push a little bit further
02:13it's like oh i didn't know this voice was there and then you calm that voice down then the next
02:17voice starts coming up and for all of those things you need to be present uh you need to be calm you
02:22need to breathe because the first thing with fear and flight and uh fight and flight mode is you forget
02:27to breathe so suddenly the fear comes in then you freeze and all of that stuff but once you start
02:32working through that you actually see that all of those different barriers are self-induced um and so
02:37this is like the thing for me when that i found uh through slacklining and paragliding and the
02:42incredible thing there was that i saw so many transformations of people yeah right like you see
02:47people come out and you know they might push through and there's some people that do it in the first go
02:52there's some people they never do it right but they're trying and so seeing those step by step how
02:57they work through their fears and their comfort zones is something truly uh spectacular to watch and then
03:03that's kind of like the thing that i wanted to achieve here and the main thing with this as well was
03:07you know some people might ask is like well um you know what's here for the extreme athlete and that
03:13kind of stuff or what's here for the rock climbers but in reality that's already converted right so if
03:18we are if we have the comfort levels and the expertise to go out and mountaineer ourselves the
03:24rock climb ourselves a base jump or paraglide we don't need something like this right but we need to
03:28get all of the people to to create advocacy to create impact in for nature for conservation is it for
03:35climbing areas and all of those things we need to have something that more people can experience
03:39it because once they experience it that that feeling stays with them and so therefore now
03:44they are fully there for conservation they're fully there for opening up the national parks and opening
03:49it up in the right way um and this is really what it's all about to be to be here to create a body
03:54that can advocate for things like this so we can push the adventure envelope further and further and
03:59further and hopefully at some point you know all of the climbing areas are open again and everything
04:04else but with this now here we have the the cliff park the second part here is going to be to really
04:08explore uh the ground area of the forest with a mountain coaster so that will be a loose down the
04:14rainforest and then with that there's some really magnificent big trees here so that's where we're
04:19going to do some real uh epic like uh canopy walks with the trampolines and play areas stuff like
04:25that to really experience and learn about the canopy and so you know one of the thoughts might be
04:29to go ahead and do some helicopter um you know paragliding helicopter bungees helicopter rope swings
04:34whatever it might be um but also here on the cliff itself right now we've only built three of our
04:40adventures and we have already more than 12 design engineered and approved and within that there's
04:45another four or five worlds first and one of them is a full slipper slide down the cliff face
04:49with a couple spirals so it's going to be quite epic to bring this to the market
04:53you
