00:06as part of preparations for the Philippines' hosting of the 2026 ASEAN Shermanship.

00:12The initiative aims to make the Esplanade cleaner and more welcoming

00:16for the roughly 10,000 Filipinos who visit daily,

00:20including installing uniform vendor booths equipped with amenities like sinks,

00:25mini refrigerators, and microwaves.

00:27The First Lady emphasized that keeping the Pasig River clean is a shared responsibility

00:32and that cooperation can ensure a safer, more dignified, and sustainable space for future generations.

00:40She also visited the Coconut Palace and the Likhang Filipino Center

00:44as part of ongoing preparations for ASEAN 2026.
