00:00Let me just start by saying season 14 is a little hard for me to watch.
00:04Just because I was really new.
00:07I was really new to drag. I just started doing drag in 2019.
00:10So I was very, very like unseasoned.

00:19So there's a lot of times when I watch, I'm like,
00:22but we're going to have fun doing this.

00:48I am that entrance queen.
00:49And I was the first trans girl to openly walk into the workroom as myself.

02:02This is what set me up to model.
02:06I was so lucky.
02:07My house brother, August Getty, Mocha Corvette Colby, if you know, let me this dress.
02:14And I actually have both.
02:15I had the 2000 version and then the 2020 remake version.
02:19But, you know, I had to keep it sexy.
02:21So, I went with the 2020.
02:22There was like a tribute to JLo in 2022 for the iHeart Music Awards.
02:28And JLo actually reached out and casted me through Morgan McMichaels for her tribute because she did see the Versace dress moment.
02:40And I had to like scramble to get another version made because I accidentally put a hole in this one when I did the lip sync.
02:49Because I wasn't supposed to lip sync.
02:51I literally gave JLo like, why would you make me lip sync in that outfit?
02:54So, it had to go back to Italy for repairs.
02:57But, we pulled it together and it was still cute.
02:59So, I brought it back to life.
03:02I didn't think I was going to talk about this.
03:10I feel like this is really the ethos of season 14.
03:14Our season was so authentic.
03:16It was so real.
03:18And we were coming fresh out of the pandemic.
03:22We were the first season to film like, towards the end of it.
03:25So, just to see that we're like, so vulnerable.
03:29It's something I don't know if we're going to get anymore.
03:31The girls love to fight, okay?
03:33The girls love to be very unserious.
03:35But, we were really, really authentic.
03:38And there was still a little bit of drama.
03:40But, this moment with Jasmine is always so special to me.
03:43And I'm so proud of her.
03:44I'm so proud of all the girls.
03:45We have five dolls on one season.
03:48This is something I do watch regularly.
03:51I don't watch a lot of season 14 over, but I do watch that part.
03:56Jasmine, Carrie, I'm sorry my dears, but you're up for elimination.
04:01This is like tea I haven't really talked about.
04:03But, you know, on the season I was struggling a lot.
04:06Especially mentally, especially internally.
04:08I wasn't very sure of myself, my aesthetic.
04:12And the judges were really hard on me to like, open up, be more vulnerable, get ugly.
04:18And I did.
04:19It was that crazy spring of sprung runway.
04:21I got real ugly.
04:23But, I feel like I was learning a lot about myself and how to channel and how to trust myself.
04:29And at this point, I gave up on myself.
04:33And that's something that's very hard for me to see.
04:36Because I literally can see this girl and I'm just like, girl, like, don't be afraid.
04:41And also, I was afraid to break that dress.
04:43that dress.
04:45Break it, tear it to shreds.
04:47My best runways were actually going to be the episodes after this.
04:51But, props to that little girl.
04:53This season inspired me to dig deep and to get really intimate with myself.
04:59And to really learn what it is that I'm trying to do.
05:04And who it is that I'm wanting to be.
05:07And I wasn't that girl here.
05:08And that's okay.
05:09I can admit that.
05:10That's gross.
05:11It is chocolate.
05:13Every win.
05:17In a way, I won.
05:18I feel like I really personified the idea that losing is the new winning.
05:23Because I was like, I'm going to storm runways.
05:25I'm going to be on print.
05:26I'm going to model.
05:27I'm just going to literally use this entire opportunity to fuel my future.
05:33This quite literally is the beginning of the rest of my life.

05:42Listen, I have to give the biggest thank you.
05:48Even though I'm no longer on Twitter, thank you to the Twitter stans and the Twitter community.
05:53They kept telling me with all the girls coming out and transitioning that I was giving Thanos from Marvel and that like I'm collecting the girls like stones.
06:04And I thought that that was so clever, so funny.
06:07And I was like, I need to make sure at the finale I make so much of an impact that I guarantee myself a future placement so I can come back and do the show correctly.
06:19This is one of the looks I have kept.

06:23I think she's like staying because it like cut me on the sides of my blood a little bit, but it was worth it.

06:30But I love this. This is the first time during season 14 I feel like I saw me and I was like, I'm proud of that girl.

07:33And I feel like it was the perfect way to set up Slaycation season two.

08:12I went to the drawing board and I was like, what do I want to do differently?
08:15And the answer was everything.
08:17I feel like season 14 motivated me to like do better, be better, connect more with myself.
08:25When I see season 10, it reminds me to like step up to that level that I brought to life for that because I gave everything, everything I had.
08:36And it was kind of like my Hail Mary.
08:37I was like, I want to continue to work in the industry.
08:40I want to establish myself as like actually being eligible for a legendary status.
08:47And I see it.
08:48I see the fire.
08:49I see like the revamp.
08:51I see the 2.0.
08:53And usually the second season or second takes of things are not as good.
08:57But in this case, I ate that.

09:02Well, every part of this is all just, I ate, I ate, I ate.

09:39But my thing was like, I actually like her.

09:42I actually really with her tenacity.
09:45We both have that very survivalist mentality.

09:53And being divas and like, listen, like, I want to, I respect you.
09:57I want to be a friend of yours.
09:58And so she was telling me, sister, we're going to be in the Alliance.

10:04We're going to have a good time.

10:07And so she never lied.
10:09That's the thing about Mistress.
10:10Like, you can never say she lied.
10:12She just left out that the whole reason she was going to make great TV is because she was going to play in my face and make me look the absolute fool the whole season.
10:21And I was not expecting that.
10:23So it definitely threw me for a loop.
10:25I kind of felt like I was back in like TV hell for a bit, but I did crawl out of that.
10:32And I think that it lit something in me to be like, I don't give a who's messing with me.
10:36I remember being in my hotel room and being like, okay, what I'm not going to do is what I did on season 14.
10:41And that is give up and be like, it's over.
10:43We're going to fight.
10:44And I'm going to put my best out there.
10:48And if I don't make it, hopefully I come back.
10:51And, uh, well, you know, the rest is herstory.
10:56Now listen, to y'all unseasoned boiled chicken bitches out there that have no flavor and don't understand what rapping is and only understand Sesame Street.
11:15I have a bone to pick with y'all because like, it's one thing to not like my style or whatever.

11:56It's because if you notice the dress here, that is my season 14 reunion gown.
12:02And I brought it with me and I was talking to Tina.
12:05We were trying to coordinate our outfits.
12:06We wanted to give hooker and she fully cut and re-sewed and remade my gown into something fun for this challenge.
12:17And she did it overnight before we went to film the next day.
12:21It was very, very selfless of her.
12:23It was very, very big sister energy of her.
12:25And I really respected that.
12:27So that is why she got my MVQ point.
12:29She earned it.

12:39I didn't know they were going to vote for me.
12:41They were actually kind of staying towards the other side of the room during Untucked and before we were about to go to stage.
12:47So I was just like in my head like, how the do I have a chance?

12:53I was like, whoa, like they're rooting for me.
12:56Mistress pulled a fast one on me.
12:58So if she puts me in the semifinals, justice would be served.
13:03You know, we litigate.

13:16Because as soon as I realized a stunt was going on and I was like, hmm, I'm probably not going to get what I want here.

13:25You know, when you litigate, you debate in court to settle and get what you want no matter what's going on.
13:32And that's why I was like, we're going to litigate.
13:34We're going to make sure on the back end that this is not the end of my story.

14:51I'm not going to skip through this lip sync because this is the one lip sync so far that I'm actually very proud of.
14:58I twirled and my goal was to twirl and to earn the ability to be seen and respected as a performer on stage.
15:07And I did that.
15:08I feel nothing but gratitude because the judges said bring the doll back to life.
15:15And I feel like I got all the redemption that I was hunting and searching and craving and needing.
15:21Craving and needing is a great way to wrap this up because I know you're craving and needing to see more of me.
15:27All I can say is like, well, yes, I am very proud.
15:31And I couldn't always say that.
15:34And that's a testament to any of you girls, boys, they, them watching.
15:38If you feel like you're not where you want to be right now, that's okay.
15:43Pick your ass up.
15:44Do the work.
15:45Wear yourself out.
15:47Give it all.
15:48Commit.
15:49Sell yourself to your fantasy.
15:52Because if you keep at it and you become humble and you become a forever student, forever learning, forever evolving,
15:59you will get to a point where you look back and you're very proud.
