00:33Shusha was very famous for the silk, for the carpets, for the horses.

00:38And lots of traders used to come to Shusha.

00:41And these gates were opened early in the morning and were closed at night.

00:48Samaya took us on a short ride away to Jeddah Plain, which overlooks the Desholti Gorge.

00:53I see the number of tourists visiting Shusha is climbing because they come to see, for example, Jeddah Plain.

01:27He was advisor of the second king of Karabakh, Shusha.

01:31But first of all, he was a very talented poet and this place is very unique because every year Waggif Poetry Nights are being celebrated here.

01:42All poets from different regions of Azerbaijan come together in this place.

01:51I've come a few kilometers out of the city to be closer to nature again.

01:55For thousands of years, water has been flowing through these rocks at Cheto Waterfall.
