00:08Last week, the pair of us were fortunate enough to attend the 2025 ACME Awards,
00:13where a story of mine that I read about Indy Bostock earlier this year
00:17receives Sports Story of the Year.
00:19And I got Sports Photo of the Year for a photo of Illawarra Hawks coach Justin Tatum.
00:24It was obviously super exciting just to be there on the night
00:27and extra rewarding to receive such an accolade.
00:31The judges spoke about how my feature on Indy Bostock
00:35raised awareness of the sexism and misogyny still within NRLW,
00:39which was exactly the kind of conversation I wanted to start when I wrote that feature.
00:43In my sports photo, it gave a unique perspective on what happens at a sports game.
00:50And it got you up close and personal with the action
00:52when Hawks coach Tatum was firing up his team during the finals championship run.
00:59And it got you up close to the next year.
00:59I'm going to play with the next year.
