00:00Last night, fellas, one of the games of the year in the NBA, to be honest with you,
00:05and the Rockets have done this twice.
00:07They had the overtime game against Oklahoma City.
00:11That was the first game of the season that went to double OT,
00:15and it was one of the games of the year.
00:17And this one last night, man, there was a stretch where, I mean,
00:21just high level of basketball.
00:23I mean, we had the first time we've ever seen two starting centers
00:28or two centers in the same game, both get a triple-double.
00:32And with Jokic and Shingun, I mean, in 30-point triple-doubles,
00:37these guys were fantastic, the both of them.
00:41I mean, KD down the stretch defensively lost his mind.
00:45I mean, he got five blocks, felt like he had five or six of them in the fourth quarter alone, steals.
00:51And then there was just a point there at the end where they were just going back and forth,
00:55hitting threes, hitting big shots.
00:57And it was like, damn, this is two of the best teams at basketball.
01:01It was fun.
01:02It was a fun watch late last night.
01:04But that is not what became the story.
01:08What became the story of last night, and now it has hit a national level,
01:12which many people are talking about,
01:15and I think Udoka's going to lose some money for this,
01:18is, yes, there were some questionable calls from the officiating last night.
01:23As I see someone texting, Rocket Nation outraged about those trash refs and bogus calls
01:28that ripped the win away from the Denver, in Denver last night.
01:33Yeah.
01:34There was a, yeah, Rocket's Twitter was in full effect yesterday.
01:38Hell, I heard, I saw Brent Scott had to do an emergency podcast last night off of it
01:42in the middle of it, right after the game started.
01:44But then Udoka took it up a notch after the game.
01:49My man sounds measured and calm.
01:51But listen to what he had to say in his thoughts of the officiating.
01:56Just in general, I think it's a poorly officiated game I've seen in a long time.
02:00Two have no business being out there, and the crew chief is acting starstruck.
02:03So, you're seeing all kinds of inconsistent calls, and I'm sure we should have got a few more texts.
02:10What do you say to your team when a game is being called the way that it was tonight?
02:15Keep being who we are.
02:17We're not going to adjust to poorly, poor officials.
02:19So, we're going to do what we do, and hopefully they can adjust and call it the right way.

02:27Yeah, and he's the kind of person that gets big mad but don't really look like or act like he's big mad.
02:34He just, he's saying it, but you can tell he's pissed.
02:39I think, I have some thoughts on it.
02:42I think Udoka, I think he has a point.
02:47It was a, it was, it did appear to be a poorly officiated game.
02:51I think it was, I think there was stuff on both sides, poorly officiated.
02:55But, he just went Draymond Green in terms of coaching.
03:03I think he, I think he does it sometimes.
03:05I think he did it in game with the technical.
03:08I think he puts his team in bad spots sometimes.
03:12I, I, I think he went overboard with the second part of that.
03:17That first part, it is, it has happened from Phil Jackson to Pat Riley to Steve Kerr.
03:22We've seen it a lot where coaches will go through the media and say stuff about officiating.
03:28Like, like he said at the beginning there, it was one of the, it was the worst officiated game I've seen in years.
03:34Then when you jump over the line and go, we two people out there that don't deserve to be there.
03:41And then the crew tree chief, Zach Zarba is one of the most respected officials in the game.
03:47Does the NBA finals, does a, he's out there starstruck.
03:51And that's the, that's the way he's at it.
03:53I, I think at that point, like them dudes are human.

03:58You go, you go first and come out and go to the space of we don't deserve to be out here.

04:04Like, I, I think, I don't think that helps your team in the, in the future with officials.

04:16If you think I'm starstruck, I'm sure I'm certainly not starstruck against you.
04:20And those guys are like, I just, I just don't think when he went past the, Hey man, that's the worst officiated game I've seen.
04:28It's unacceptable.
04:29We got to be better.
04:30When you go past that and then start talking about, I mean, he's, you got two people out here.
04:34I don't care how hard they've worked.
04:35They don't deserve to be the hell out here.
04:37Like I, I, I just, I don't, I don't think he put his team in a, in a good situation.
04:44And then my man later on, then when it said, and we ain't going to adjust to officiating, we're just going to keep doing what we do.
04:53I'd like it, whether he was right or wrong, whether he was to go publicly and then to hit, to hit them with the, yeah, man, y'all don't even deserve to be out here like that.
05:04Like that, like that to me, I'm just saying you, you just, you just know, when you say stuff like that, they're, they're potentially going to be consequences.
05:13Oh, it's not going nowhere.
05:14They go, they go, they're going to be out there.
05:16They're going to officiate more rockets game.
05:18Well, at that point, you've obviously accepted, Hey, I'm fixing it.
05:21I'm just going to, I'm going to eat this fine.
05:23Oh, yeah.
05:24Well, yeah, but yeah, fine.
05:25But yeah, he's going to get fine for the criticism to begin with.
05:28So, so, so he's just, he's going to go ahead and get his money's worth.
05:31And, and, and I, I didn't, I did not watch enough of the game outside of the highlights and the very ending to, to, to understand whether he is or he isn't to understand if there's a message that he's like the starstruck thing.
05:47That's telling me that obviously he's treating, he's treating, you know, a couple of guys in a certain way.
05:54And he didn't appreciate that, that his group wasn't getting the same treatment.
05:56Even though your player, one of your team, you got the biggest star in the game.
05:59I mean, KD's, yeah, I mean, yeah, I, yeah, but I, I, like, I didn't watch the game close enough throughout to see like how much of it, how much was Yoki's kind of still treatment throughout the game.
06:10Based on the highlights and based on the conversations that I heard you guys having and I heard, I heard Lopez having, it sounds like, hell, they could have been real sweet to that superstar on the other team and kept them in the game and not called to foul.
06:23So, I don't know enough really to have a real strong opinion of, of what is, what messages could he potentially be trying to send outside of obviously just cutting, cutting low on the, on the.
06:34Well, yeah, but I, but I'm just saying when you cut low, like when you, when you decide, like, it's just like, you, you know, all of you, you know, you've got yourself in potential either altercations or potential issues with people.
06:48You know, I'm going to say this and there's potentially going to, I need to be potentially ready for, you know, issues, right?

09:07He said, sometimes you got to flip the table over.

09:21and, and, and gave them all the double birds and you're going to have to see them cats again.
09:26And they're going to officiate your games again.

09:29Like, like I would imagine in their line of work, that's really disrespectful of the,
