00:00This video was recently captured from the dash cam of a police cruiser in the UK and this is
00:05the moment a high-speed car chase ended dramatically with luckily no other drivers injured.
00:11The whole thing started after a routine traffic stop with officers saying they spotted the vehicle
00:15moving erratically. However, when the officer was still in the car, the stopped vehicle takes off
00:20and the chase was on. Authorities say the driver was clocked at speeds upwards of 70 miles per
00:25hour in residential areas where the speed limit is just 20 miles per hour. He even moved to the
00:30wrong side of the road where luckily there was no oncoming traffic. Police say he barely avoided
00:35hitting a truck before moving back to the correct lane where moments later this happened. The vehicle
00:40smashes into a barrier collapsing its front end and leaving the driver stunned. 22-year-old driver
00:46Billy Raunchy was pulled from the vehicle and was arrested, charged and has now been sentenced with
00:51police sergeant James Skeet saying about the ordeal quote, thankfully no one was injured by this
00:56display of driving that night, but that is no thanks to him.
