00:04to break his silence following his health scare back in April. The Ray star took to Instagram on

00:10Saturday morning and shared a video in which he told fans, I know a lot of people were waiting

00:15or wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn't want you to see me like that.

00:20I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie,

00:25television show. I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out

00:31if I was going to make it through. While Jamie didn't specify what the condition was that left

00:36him hospitalized and in a rehab center the last several months, he did credit his family's

00:41discerning nature, saying how they kept it airtight, they didn't let anything out, they protected me,

00:46and that's what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these. He also used the opportunity

00:51to dispel any rumors about his emergency, including claims that he suffered from paralysis and vision

00:57impairment. However, Jamie did note, I went to hell and back and my road to recovery had some

01:02potholes as well, but I'm coming back and I'm able to work. He concluded by sharing that he loves

01:07everybody and I love all of the love that I got, adding, if you've seen me out from now and every

01:13once in a while, I just burst into tears. It's just because it's been tough, man. I was sick,
