Two ministers and one deputy minister have been dropped from the new Cabinet announced on Tuesday (Dec 16) by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

00:11The Ministers are Datuk Dr. Mohamed Naim Mokhtar, who had served as Minister in the Prime Minister's
00:16Department for Religious Affairs, and Datuk Seri Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, formerly Minister
00:22in the Prime Minister's Department for Federal Territories.
00:26Mohamed Naim was recently reappointed as a senator for a second term.
00:30They have been replaced by Datuk Seri Dr. Zulkifli Hassan, previously Deputy Minister for Religious
00:36Affairs, and Hana Yeo, the former Youth and Sports Minister.
00:41Also dropped from the new Madani government line-up is Deputy National Unity Minister K. Saraswathy.
00:48The reshuffle comes as four Cabinet portfolios were already vacant.
00:52Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability
00:59Nick Nazmi Nick Ahmad, and Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives.
01:05Datuk Ewan Benedict had left their posts following resignations.
01:09Meanwhile, the position of Investment, Trade and Industry Minister, previously held by Tanku
