Transcript
00:01We're right outside the Zack Theater.
00:03This is actually one of the newest theaters in Austin.
00:06And right down over that way, the premiere for Ryan Gosling's
00:09South by Southwest debut of Lost River is happening.
00:12We're going to go check out the red carpet.
00:14I just went to Detroit and I was really affected by the place
00:17and the people, you know, it's really exciting.
00:19It has incredible history and the sort of unknown future
00:22and I'd love to make more films then.
00:24By himself, Ryan's got a really amazing way of just thinking.
00:27He likes to have everyone's input and their ideas in the mix
00:30and he's very open to other people's ideas on set.
00:33With Ryan, he left so much up to us
00:36that we could kind of almost create the story as we went along
00:39and create our own character's journey.
00:42It was a real organic thing to watch it,
00:44watch the script evolve and the plot change and tweak it tweaked.
00:48The movie is a love story about the power of family
00:50and I think that people will relate on that basis.
00:53If you're a movie lover, I think it's going to strike a big chord
00:56among the cinephile.
00:57So make sure you guys check out Ryan Gosling's Lost River.
01:00I'm Charlie Behrens on Milk Video.
