00:00XXXTentacion's murder suspect has been arrested and we have all the details.
00:07Plus, X's death is creating a new and sickening viral challenge.
00:13Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life and XXXTentacion's ex-manager Adam22 spoke to TMZ about the artist's tragic death and how he believes X is this generation's Tupac.
00:25I think he's going to go down as the Tupac of this generation.
00:29Hell yeah.
00:30I was a 13-year-old crying when Tupac died, so I remember what it was like when Tupac was around and I feel like X in a lot of ways, he didn't get to have the long career that Tupac had, but the way he impacted people was completely on the same level in my opinion.
00:42Debatable, but I see his point. There's no denying X's death is having a massive impact in the rap world. Even Tekashi69 took a break from trolling to talk about his passing.
00:52X spread nothing but positivity. Nothing but positivity. Always called me on the phone, Danny, are you okay? Danny, yo, you doing this the right way? Just try to do more of this. Like, knowing that he was nothing but positive and nobody wanted to harm him. You know what I'm saying? There's probably like a hundred million thousand people out there trying to kill me.
01:13Adding to this, we're hearing exclusively from X's attorney, J. David Bogen Schultz. The controversial rapper was beginning to change his life around months before his death.
01:23There's no question in my mind that he was turning his life around, which was recognized by a judge in the Dade County too. He was getting more freedom and more privileges because of how well he was doing. He really was a pleasure to be around. I enjoyed this kid and this was a disaster.
01:38However, not everyone sees it this way. QNHot97's Peter Rosenberg, who revealed his mixed feelings about X's death.
01:46I think you can look at the whole picture of someone and we should. But to yell down people who say, I don't really know how to feel. I have mixed feelings because of his past. That's okay. We're allowed to have complex feelings about it. But I don't want him to be a hero to people, guys. I'm gonna be honest with you.
02:02Joe Budden addresses these sentiments and slams Peter for the way he broke the news of X's passing on another show he hosts.
02:09And he interrupts this Yankee talk they're having to say, hey, I know this is not a hip hop show. I must report to you guys. Triple X Tentacion has passed away. Then it's two white co-hosts say, well, who was that? And the first thing out your mouth is, well, he was no angel. Scary place we're living in when people just are without compassion.
02:33Compassion. Sadly, X's death is also turning into a viral challenge, the XXXTentacion challenge, in which people are posting memes mocking the rapper's lifeless body after he was shot.
02:45On a slightly more positive note, one of three suspects involved in X's murder has been arrested. The suspect, Dedrick D. Williams, is being booked for first-degree murder.
02:55TMZ also notes Dedrick followed X on Instagram and was previously arrested for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, and aggravated assault with a firearm.
