00:04First of all, our hearts go out to the family and friends of the Reiner's tragic incident.
00:10Yesterday at 12th, December 14th, about 3.40 in the afternoon,
00:16LAPD responded to a residence, the residence of Rob and Michelle Reiner,
00:23located in West Los Angeles Division.
00:25At that location, they found two deceased adults, a male and a female.
00:30Through the night, working with the coroner's office,
00:32they were able to identify them definitively as Rob and Michelle Reiner.
00:37We have our Robbery Homicide Division handling the investigation.
00:42They worked throughout the night on this case and were able to take into custody Nick Reiner,
00:50a suspect in this case.
00:52He was subsequently booked for murder.
00:55And is being held on $4 million bail.
00:58Pretty much that's what I can share at this point.
01:01But again, a very, very tragic incident.
01:04Can you talk about, I know Deputy Hamilton talked about the search warrant,
01:08how important that was because of something inside.
01:11Can you talk about where that investigation, as you know, on all of these cases?
01:16I wouldn't be in a position that talks specifically about what the object of the search warrant was,
01:21but it's a critical piece of our investigations to be able to ensure down the road of prosecution.
