00:00I ate so many of these burgers over the past weekend, but it really never gets old.
00:03I mean, it's pretty simple to make, but the way these ingredients work together make it one of my favorite burgers.
00:07So when Chef Greeny hit me up to cook with him at the World Food Championships this year,
00:10I came up with this burger recipe specifically for the event.
00:13And the big surprise for most people was this New School American Cheese Spread
00:15that really balanced out the heat from the jalapenos.
00:17Now, the event was absolutely amazing,
00:19but one thing I didn't expect was how big of a hit this burger was going to be.
00:21I mean, there were people coming up and getting three or four servings throughout the weekend,
00:24and a bunch of you that were there asked me for the recipe.
00:26And one of the most important things is getting that perfect sear on the jalapeno onion patties
00:29before we melt some New School American Cheese right on top.
00:32And when it's time to build the burger, the best bun to use is hands-down a steamed Martin's Potato Roll.
00:36And we're going to get that covered in our cheese spread before we place down two of the patties
00:38and hit the top bun with a bunch of our burger sauce.
