You won't believe some of the numbers these WWE stars put up in the gym.

00:00The Undertaker was somebody that prided himself on never breaking his character,
00:04and therefore every other wrestler tried to break his character. This is serious.
00:08Real Life Mark Calloway, by all accounts, was very good at holding it together,
00:11but that's not the case when it comes to some individuals. So because I am a massive goober,
00:17today we are gonna run through 10 times. This was absolutely hilarious. Let's go!
00:23Number 10, Paul London Ruins Bryan Danielson.
00:25Peak Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is something else, and as co-founder Scott Loss once described it,
00:30it's going to be like Ring of Honor without a stick up its ass. You can do with that what you will.
00:35I think Paul London must have reveled in this idea though, because I tell you,
00:38as soon as that information got into his brain, he went crazy with it. He did indeed go out there
00:43and ask Bryan Danielson to be his tag team partner though, so they could become a success in Pro
00:47Wrestling Guerrilla. And when they were cutting their promo to set this up, well I do believe
00:52Paul started to improvise. It started off with London admitting that he had gone to visit a
00:56lovely beach, which is when he saw some dolphins splashing around, and in that moment his heart
01:01was so filled with joy, he realised he needed to be tag team partners with Bryan Danielson.
01:06Eventually, Paul got to a part where he talked about seals flying around, and at this juncture,
01:11Bryan couldn't handle it anymore, and flub me, did he crack up? London wasn't done though,
01:15so he then encouraged fans to join the Swarm or something like that. And by this stage,
01:20there were basically tears coming out of people's eyes, but you should go and check this clip out,
01:24if you haven't seen it already, it will make you feel warm and fuzzy in your tum tum.
01:28Number 9, Booker T does the impossible, and added in some serious entertainment when it came to the
01:32WWE version of the NWO. I mean, we tried here, but it never really clicked. It was mostly because it
01:38started so silly, because Kevin Nash and Scott Hall and Hoko were brought in to destroy World Wrestling
01:43Entertainment, which never sounds right. When they got a microphone, they said,
01:47we're nice guys, we're not going to do that at all. Why the flub did you come here then? Go away.
01:53Moreover, people just wanted to see the best version of the NWO, which was the WCW version of NWO,
01:58but then you started thinking, why would Vince McMahon bring in the New World Order to kill his
02:03own creation? Because ultimately, that's only going to affect him. It was stupid. It got worse too,
02:08because in a few months, Scott Hall had to leave, because he was struggling to deal with his personal
02:12issues. And as soon as Hulk Hogan smelt that red and yellow again, he jumped back to being a baby
02:17face. So whatever we had was dead. It actually did mean that we got to the awful version of NWO,
02:23because we just started adding people after adding people after adding people. And eventually it was
02:27just a big mess. It didn't mean anything anymore. Thankfully, I think Booker T soon caught wind of
02:31this and decided, well, look, at the very least, I'm going to make it entertaining. And he did.
02:35Therefore, as soon as he could, he started singing his own lyrics to Shawn Michaels' theme song,
02:40including throwing in a bit where he went, I'm just the Booker T. It was ridiculous.
02:45I'm not sure Nash and Sean Walton were ready for this, because they just burst out laughing.
02:49And actually, this version of the NWO could have used more of that. It was properly genuine.
02:54Number eight, Mick Foley gets the rock. Mick Foley talks about this a lot in his books. When he was
02:59teaming with the rock all the way back in the rock and sock connection days, the original plan was for
03:03eventually Mick to turn on the great one. And everyone be like, oh my gosh, I can't believe
03:08it. Mankind knew though, in order to pull this off, we were going to have to have that one moment
03:12where the rock looked at his brand new tag team partner. And in his eyes, you can see my word,
03:18he loves him. For one reason or another, though, the rock just didn't feel like being that genuine
03:22suited his character. So he went in a different direction. And rather than get a sad breakup,
03:28one day they just stopped teaming together. And that was that. It really did feel
03:32like a wasted opportunity. But I think Foley must have told himself, well, one day I'm going to get
03:36a crack at another opportunity. And this time I'm going to take it. So fast forward to the year 2000
03:41where Mick was the raw GM and he saw the rock. And my word, did he go and take it? Because he asked
03:47the most electrifying man how he feels to be the world champion. And just the rock was going to answer.
03:52Mick Foley shouted out, it doesn't matter how you feel before he got out the ring and did a 360 around
03:58the whole thing while charting Foley. Foley. I mean, the fans were laughing at this. When we cut
04:05to the real life Dwayne Johnson and there it was, he was laughing too. So you can totally see what Mick
04:10was going for here and he was correct. If we had done this a couple of years earlier, my word, you
04:15really could have done that breakup good. Number seven, Sammy Guevara breaks the ultimate pro. So this
04:20should go on a wrestler's CV. If you were able to break MJF, yeah, get a pen or go on one of those
04:25computers and write it down. I mean, this is the same guy that will go to an Orgraf signing and
04:29be horrible to a child because once again, he refuses to break character. So you've got your
04:34work count for you. It also means he would never laugh at a pit in the ring, but that all changed
04:38on the 18th of March, 2020, AEW Dynamite, which actually coincided with the pandemic starting and
04:45all of us going, wait a minute, we have to watch wrestling with no fans. It was not good. I mean,
04:49I imagine the whole crew was struggling at this stage. They tried to figure out what was going on,
04:53which is why Sammy Guevara decided, you know what? Chris Jericho is about to come out.
04:57We can't have the fans sing his song. So I'm going to do it instead. And he did. The thing is,
05:02though, he did it in the most ludicrous way possible. Like he didn't really know what a
05:07tune or a microphone was. And not only did Chris Jericho start to chuckle, but Maxwell Jacob Friedman,
05:13he was totally gone. He then decided, Flubby, I'm going to join in too. And once again,
05:17these were the kind of moments we didn't need, especially because the world had shut down.
05:21He just told you in your tootsie toes, you know what? Maybe everything's going to be all right.
05:26Number six, Sami Zayn and the bloodline. So we all remember this mostly because it was a genuine
05:30highlight of the last few years. Because as Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso started sowing the
05:35seeds of doubt as they did fall out, they needed someone to come along and save their group.
05:40That's right. It was Sami Zayn. Because Sam soon realized he was going to have to keep these guys in
05:44check because they weren't being very Usy. And he even managed to work in the line. Well,
05:49that wasn't very Usy of you, was it? Like he was some really strange kindergarten teacher.
05:54He did it in such an over the top way that Jey Uso totally lost his mind. It was basically on the
05:58floor. And even Roman Reigns was chuckling here. He did that thing when you take your arm and you
06:03try and cover your face, but we all knew. Now, whether this was planned or not, it once again
06:08helped so damn much because it told the audience, even though you are acting like dickheads,
06:13I can see that you're also human. I get it.
06:15It also meant when Reigns went back to emotionally manipulating these guys, we felt it even more,
06:20which of course built to the Royal Rumble when Sami Zayn did tell the bloodline,
06:24I tell you, this stuff is all time. Number five, happy Colt Cabana.
06:28Now, when you actually do go back through Sami Zayn's history, it's no surprise that he was able
06:32to do this because he was basically doing the same when he was allegedly El Generico back in PWG.
06:37So another talked about segment from the early days was when we got to 3Mendus 2 and El Generico and Colt
06:43Colt Cabana were sat down together because they were going to be a tag team.
06:46Colt was a bit done with him though, because he turned to the Spanish Luchador and he was like,
06:49man, you never say anything of note. You just say you're going to beat your opponent and you
06:54respect your opponent. I need something more.
06:56Generico took this to heart too, because he then cut the most American style promo you could imagine
07:01on Kenny Omega and Chuck Taylor. It was almost like he was a different person.
07:05Cabana had something else for him as well though, because he whispered something in his ear,
07:08which was tell them you're going to eat their children. I'm not sure this got through
07:12to Generico's brain because he just came out with, I eat children. Even that actually made me laugh.
07:18So you can imagine what it did to Colt Cabana. He totally lost his mind too.
07:21So it really is a joy to watch. And also if you're a boxing fan, you'll understand where this came from.
07:28I didn't need to say that. Number four, CM Punk loves it.
07:30In late 2013, we had a championship ascension ceremony. Now if you weren't watching WWE in 2013,
07:38you'd think, well, that sounds shite. Well, it was. It was just one of those Vince McMahon-isms,
07:43because John Cena and Randy Orton were about to battle for the two World Heavyweight Championships
07:47and join them together. And also we were doing this because we wanted a highlight on them and
07:51we didn't want anyone to mention Daniel Bryan. This is where the fans really wanted Daniel Bryan to get
07:57a push and WWE decided, well, we don't have to listen to you. They seem to forget that we were in a
08:01live setting here though. So of course the audience did start to chant for Daniel Bryan. And while
08:06Triple H and Stephanie McMahon tried to continue on this ceremony, well, it was quickly falling
08:11apart. It was absolutely awesome to watch though, especially CM Punk, because not only was he
08:15grinning like the Cheshire Cat because people were chanting for the Yes Man, but he also clearly
08:20found some of the verbiage absolutely ridiculous. He was laughing at that as well. Given the timeframe,
08:25you'd have to imagine that CM Punk was slowly getting checked out here, because in less than a year
08:30after that Royal Rumble, he was actually going to go out the door. It is just one of those real moments
08:34again, and it just makes people come across like real people. I don't understand why wrestling
08:39tries to steer away from that so much. It really is the secret sauce. Number three,
08:43Juice Robinson has an out of pocket moment. We go to New Japan for this one at Wrestle Kingdom 11,
08:48because on that card, Cody Rhodes is going to take on Juice Robinson. In hindsight, this was a big deal.
08:54It was part of the journey that was going to take Cody to the top of the industry. If you know
08:57anything about Juice though, he doesn't care if he wins or loses. He will always find a way to do
09:03something newsworthy, which is what he did here during the preamble. Now, sometimes he really
09:07does take this too far. So when New Japan were doing their press conference to say, oh my gosh,
09:12these guys are going to fight. Juice turned to Cody Rhodes and Brandy Rhodes and said, Brandy,
09:18you better not get involved. Otherwise I may have to punch you in the face. What? Now it goes without
09:23saying man or woman's violence is totally wrong. And even in wrestling, we've got it wrong time and time
09:28again. But this comment came so out of nowhere, I do not think Cody Rhodes was ready for it because
09:33he wasn't able to keep this down and he started to laugh. Brandy also sold it like death, so fair
09:38play to her. And that reaction got Juice when all of a sudden he was laughing too. And all of a sudden
09:45this just became the most ridiculous party ever. So you have to imagine that he was going for the
09:48dark side of comedy here, which is kind of the atmosphere you do want to create. But he clearly
09:52regretted it too, because all of a sudden Robinson was like, I didn't mean that. I mean,
09:56it's not like I've done it before. It just ties into all the other entries in this list though,
10:00because you could be sat there and if somebody says something you aren't ready for, well,
10:05you're probably going to fall down. Number two, Punk Breaks Paul. I mean,
10:08this must have happened all the time. Because when CM Punk and Paul Heyman were just on Raw every
10:13single week, you have to imagine they were thick as thieves. Also, go and listen to them in
10:17interviews. They're essentially the same person. It's why when they started their WrestleMania feud with
10:21The Undertaker, they were really going to push the line. Because yeah, you'll remember this,
10:25they soon started to make it all about Paul Bearer, who very sadly had recently passed away.
10:30Then on the March 25th, 2013 Raw, Punk came to the ring with an Undertaker-style urn,
10:36and he started to tell everyone, oh, I bet you're wondering whose ashes this is.
10:40Well, it's Paul Bearer. Sheesh. The thing is though, he then started addressing the inanimate object
10:45and calling it Paul. And clearly, Heyman hadn't been clued up about this, because you know the deal.
10:50He started to laugh. He even had to cover his mouth eventually, because I think Punk took it way too
10:54far. And I kind of get this, he was coming across a little bit insane. The good thing is, because I
10:59think it's always important to throw it in there, The Undertaker and Paul Bearer's children have always
11:03said that Paul Bearer would have loved this. He just always wants to be included. So even after his
11:08death, he found a way. Let's hope that is true too, because otherwise this is totally mad. And also,
11:14let's not forget about all the things that Paul Heyman has seen in wrestling. And this got him.
11:19It really must have taken him by surprise. Number one, Toriyano is a hero. The New Japan G1
11:25Climax Tournament, if you don't know, is New Japan's way of saying, hey, you want wrestling
11:29to be sports? Well, do we have some wrestling sports for you? It feels like a proper competition,
11:33which is why we get a massive press conference beforehand. So every single competitor can stand
11:38on stage and say, this is why I'm going to win, because I'm the best. This was the same in 2017,
11:43because why wouldn't it be when Toriyano decided to go up to the stand? And I figure he must have
11:49gone, well, I'd rather just make a name for myself here. So I'm going to go off script.
11:53Because the first thing he did was apologize for being a 39 year old man who has arrived
11:58at this prestigious event without the right amount of makeup. So if the people shooting him on camera
12:03could do it in a flattering way, that would be absolutely great. Yano then continued on because
12:07he promised that he was going to win this tournament because he had realized he was happy to cheat.
12:12This is when the current IWGP champion, I can't just start to laugh. And I was with him with this.
12:18What an amazing thing to say. You have to figure this was his plan as well,
12:21because Yano continued his work of art, because he was like, oh, also,
12:24I've got these drugs that haven't been approved by the medical board yet, but you know what?
12:29I'm still going to take them. I want to win the G1. I kind of just kept chuckling more and more at this
12:33too. I'm just going to say, if wrestling could give me more moments like this, I would really
12:38appreciate it because I've worn the one t-shirt today. Goofy wrestling for life is my favorite.
12:43And when we're talking about these entries, it was totally random and it was totally out of nowhere.
12:49Up. Wrong show. Now, of course, if you know about any other moments like this,
12:53drop me a comment below before you like the video, share the video and subscribe. And look,
12:56there's a video on the screen of me talking about more wrestling gaffes, which hopefully is fun.
13:00Otherwise, what am I doing? But otherwise, take care, my friends. See you soon.
