00:00The battle between London Mayor Sadiq Khan and President of the United States Donald Trump is raging on.
00:09The two politicians have been at logheads for years now, with a long-running feud between them.
00:17Last week, yet again, Donald Trump spoke out against the London mayor, claiming Khan is a terrible, vicious mayor.
00:26Those are the words of Donald Trump.
00:29Now, Sadiq Khan has responded by accusing the US President of being obsessed with him.
00:36Sir Keir Starmer has come out in defence of Sadiq Khan and said that he believes Donald Trump's criticism of the London mayor is wrong.
00:45Downing Street has said after the Prime Minister faced calls to stand up to the US President.
00:51Number 10's defence of the Labour London mayor came a day after it declined to criticise the President's attack on him.
01:01Trump's latest comments in his long-running spat with Sir Sadiq came in an interview with Politico External,
01:11in which he branded the UK politician a disaster and disgusting.
01:16But Sir Sadiq Khan is fighting back.
01:19The London mayor definitely has his critics in the city, while others think he's doing a fine job.
01:26So how do Londoners feel about the feud between London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Donald Trump?
01:32It's news-grabbing banter, a rival president should have no bearing on how the greatest city on the planet is run.
01:42Because London is the best city, and I've been to most of the British world, and London is home.
01:50I think to have different opinions, it is normal and natural.
01:59It's not a bad thing that they confront, you see, their opinions and some basic problems.
02:06They are both politicians, they are both also patriots, they like their countries, and I don't see that it is really wrong if we have different opinions.
02:19This is the democracy, and we are in the capital of democracy, London.
02:26I'd say people with blue passports are looking for somewhere else to live.
02:29Why do you think, Professor, what's your experience as an American in London, if you're living here in London?
02:36I was here years ago in my 20s, and a young student, and again, in different parts of my life.
02:43So it's, I was thinking as I was coming over, if you want to know America, it's really important to come to London.
02:52And look at what we were before we were, whatever that is right now.
