Trump was returning from his second state visit.
Transcript
00:00Hello, yes, Donald Trump has condemned the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, and claimed he refused him entry to the state banquet at Windsor Castle, where Donald Trump attended with the royal family.
00:17On his return flight to the US, Trump reignited his feud with the Mayor, describing him as among the worst Mayors in the entire world, and a disaster on immigration.
00:29He said he had asked Sir Sadiq Khan not to attend the banquet, claiming the Mayor had wanted to be there.
00:37He argued that crime in London was through the roof, and accused Sir Sadiq of doing a terrible job.
00:46Now, it's been reported the Mayor has completely dismissed these comments from Donald Trump.
00:51The clash is the latest in a long-running row between the two men, which began in 2015, when Sir Sadiq criticised Trump's call to ban Muslims from entering the US.
01:05In the years since, Trump has branded the Mayor a stone-cold loser, while Sir Sadiq has accused the former president of encouraging far-right politics.
01:17During the dinner, Trump made a speech.
01:20Here it is.
01:22It's a singular privilege to be the first American president welcomed here.
01:28And if you think about it, it's a lot of presidents, and this was the second state visit.
01:36And that's the first, and maybe that's going to be the last time.
01:41I hope it is, actually.
01:42But this is truly one of the highest honors of my life.
01:47The bond of kinship and identity between America and the United Kingdom is priceless and eternal.
01:54It's irreplaceable and unbreakable.
01:56And we are, as a country, as you know, doing unbelievably well.
02:02We had a very sick country one year ago.
02:06And today, I believe we're the hottest country anywhere in the world.
02:11In fact, nobody's even questioning it, but we owe so much of that to you.
02:16While this went ahead, many protested Trump's second state visit to the UK, including MP Jeremy Corbyn.
02:24This is Donald Trump's second state visit to Britain.
02:30The last one, it was slightly more public than this one.
02:33He actually came to almost into Parliament, but he was banned from Parliament by the then speaker, John Bercow.
02:40So he went off somewhere else.
02:42I can't remember where it was he went off.
02:43But they didn't like the idea of all those demonstrations wherever he went.
02:48And so this time, he's really mixing with the people.
02:53Airport, helicopter, ambassadors' residence, helicopter, Windsor Castle, helicopter.
