00:00Let the market decide. People want to do their best for the environment, but they have to be able to do it in a way that is sustainable, in a way that they can afford.
00:09We need a common sense approach. The ZEV mandate right now is not common sense. Even the EU is now looking to drop it.
00:16It's only the UK that is trying to hit net zero at a pace that is not sustainable.
00:21Of course we need to look after our environment. Of course we need to tackle climate change.
00:25But if the plans we have aren't working, then we need to find better plans, not just stick with what's not working, because it's something that was written on a piece of paper a few years ago.
