01:06strategic partnerships

01:07have not only helped

01:08the organization

01:09develop talent

01:10for its members,

01:11it's also propelled

01:12the readiness

01:13in preparing

01:14large-scale events

01:15like the

01:16ДОХА Forum Youth Edition.

01:18Our partnerships

01:19with

01:20Doha Forum,

01:21Ministry of Sports and Youth,

01:22and Media City Qatar

01:23have been essential

01:24and important

01:25parts of the success

01:26of

01:27Doha Forum Youth Edition,

01:28mainly because

01:29one,

01:30their area of expertise

01:31that they're bringing in,

01:32and knowledge

01:33that they're bringing in

01:34into these forums,

01:35and energy,

01:36but two,

01:38because they have

01:39allowed us,

01:40and have been integral

01:42parts,

01:43into giving our youth seats

01:46in important tables

01:47and conversations.

01:48From diplomacy to healthcare,

01:51science and social work,

01:53youth delegates

01:54of 100 nationalities

01:56gather to chart

01:57new paths of change,

01:58with representatives

01:59from the host country

02:01stepping up to take the lead.

02:03I think it's very important

02:04for youth to participate

02:05in forums like this,

02:06simply because the youth

02:08are the most disproportionately

02:10affected by a lot

02:11of these issues.

02:12Their futures,

02:13their careers,

02:14whether they have children,

02:15and what those children's

02:16futures will look like,

02:17it's something that

02:18we'll have to deal with

02:19for decades.

02:20So this is something

02:21that is incredibly important

02:22because we also want to,

02:23you know,

02:24give voices to people

02:25who have been impacted,

02:26or will be impacted,

02:28the most.

02:29Through panel discussions,

02:30fireside chats,

02:31round tables,

02:32and workshops,

02:33the Doha Forum Youth Edition

02:35simulates real-life processes

02:37that demand negotiation skills,

02:40policy-making,

02:41and effective communication.

02:43When you actually integrate

02:44the youth to be part

02:46of these events,

02:47we're able to attend

02:48the ceremonies or their sessions,

02:49as well as, you know,

02:50emulating the sort of

02:51political processes that happen.

02:53So for instance,

02:54the Doha Youth Forum,

02:55what we're going to do

02:57is we're going to have

02:58round table sessions

02:59where all of these delegates

03:00are acting as political change makers,

03:02as policy makers.

03:04So it actually puts them

03:05in the steps of very important people

03:08and actually integrating them

03:10into the process.

03:11Gathering a group of diverse,

03:13ambitious,

03:14and like-minded people in one place

03:16makes it the perfect melting pot

03:18where ideas are not only shared

03:20and exchanged,

03:21but also challenged.

03:23Change makers not only come here

03:24to meet and cross-pollinate ideas,

03:26they are here to up-skill themselves

03:28and to kind of challenge each other,

03:30leverage each other's expertise

03:32and competitive edges

03:33to kind of boost their change-making

03:35to the next level.

03:36It just sets the stage

03:37for this current generation

03:39to handle the kind of pressure,

03:41handle that kind of insane,

03:43multipolar world that we're coming into,

03:45to kind of be more ready

03:46to accept the beacon and torch

03:48from the current generation.

03:49The involvement of international speakers

03:51from several multilateral organisations,

03:54civil society groups,

03:56and non-profits

03:57added a layer of global dialogue

03:59in thought leadership.

04:01Mirroring the Doha Forum's mandate,

04:03political commentators were also included

04:06in the line-up of delegates

04:07helping to inspire the next generation.

04:10I found my purpose as a young person,

04:12in large part because I was raised

04:14by, you know,

04:15very politically conscious parents.

04:18Look, everyone's in a different situation,

04:20so it's hard to give general advice.

04:22But I would just say,

04:23for young people,

04:24always be on the lookout for ways in which,

04:26within whatever constraints you have,

04:28how helpful you can be

04:30to better humanity

04:31because ultimately,

04:32the future of the planet,

04:34you know, sort of relies on everybody

04:35making the best choices that they can

04:37for the collective good.

04:38Through dialogue,

04:39workshops,

04:40and networking sessions,

04:41the success of the Doha Forum Youth Edition

04:44is a clear signal

04:45that empowering the youth of today

04:47shapes the leaders of tomorrow

04:49through collaborative action

04:51and a shared conviction

04:52for meaningful change

04:54to build a more inclusive

04:55and sustainable future.
