01:59Saturday night saw an incredibly high standard of dancing
02:02with the judges awarding no less than 13 tenths.
02:06We are officially polishing the glitter ball.
02:09One of these couples will be lifting it next week.
02:13But standing in their way is one final dance-off.
02:16Before we find out who's in it,
02:18let's see what the judges thought of our semi-final.

02:26A sensational semi-final.
02:39Double the dances, double the pressure
02:44and everybody handled it miraculously well.
02:48That was actually exquisite.
02:51One that I'll remember forever.
02:55The scores were high, but the emotions were even higher.
02:58At the top of the leaderboard, we have Karen and Carlos.
03:02Karen and Carlos' waltz did have elegance and beautiful flow of line.

03:08We were speaking about an athlete from a soccer field
03:11to come out looking like a beautiful waltz princess.
03:14I'm glad that I was pushed out of my comfort zone.
03:16I've never really felt like a princess tonight.
03:20It was one of the most special things I've ever experienced.

03:27and I felt that she, of all the couples, did that.

03:37Amber and Nikita's tango showed that her ballroom dancing

05:03The atmosphere, the music, and the fact that Valvinda has come so far.
05:07The judges' scores and comments, the crowd reaction felt amazing,
05:12and I'm just so grateful for that.

11:35Absolutely Shirley, how was the semi-final for you? The semi-final was probably one of the best semi-finals that we've ever had in the history of Strictly Come Dancing
11:44You expect that everyone will put their best foot forward and the whole run of the show
11:49They will bring all the ingredients and it will accumulate at the end in the semi-final and the final to see great
11:56Dancing and that's what we saw in the semi-final we saw skills that we didn't know we were going to get it was absolutely remarkable
