00:34In the book, Kazzy reveals she immediately regretted breaking up with Pete Davidson and tried to work things out with him a couple days later.
00:41Pete apparently told Kazzy he was the happiest he'd ever been and soon was seen out in public with Ariana Grande.
00:47Later in the book, Kazzy opens up about her reaction to Pete and Ariana's engagement.
00:52Kaz says that while in South Africa for a family trip, she got a phone call from her manager about the engagement.
00:58and she just laughed.
01:00Kazzy then opens up more about the bullying and hurtful comments that came flooding in from social media.
01:05People began to make comparisons about her and Ariana and Kazzy says, quote,
01:10They really wanted to make sure that I knew I was inferior to her in every way.
01:15Getting over a relationship is hard, but then being bullied and compared to your ex's new partner on social media,
01:20it's a whole other challenge.
01:22Switching gears to Selena Gomez because she's also opening up about breakups and how they've affected her.
01:28While speaking to the newsletter, Selena explains that she was able to transform the more painful parts of her journey in the past into art and self-growth.
01:36She says the music and projects she's working on now wouldn't have been created before if it wasn't for her past experiences.
01:43Selena then goes on to talk about her song, Lose You To Love Me, which has been rumored to be about her ex, Justin Bieber.
01:50Sel says, quote, I remember I had a moment where I couldn't believe it because the first and second day the reactions were crazy.
01:56And I remember I smiled and I was like, that's why it's worth it.
02:00All of these years of confusion and being in love and all of this stuff.
02:05And it was finally a clean slate.
02:07And it wasn't even because everyone liked it.
