00:04One of the rumored contestants, Eric Hill, has passed away.
00:07Apparently Eric was in a paragliding accident on Sunday when his parachute collapsed and
00:11left him in a coma.
00:13His sister made a very sad announcement on Facebook, writing,
00:16Even though ABC hasn't officially announced the season 10 guys, Eric was rumored to be
00:28one of the guys vying for Andy's heart.
00:30Not only that, but he reportedly got the first one-on-one date with her.
00:33The extreme sports enthusiast had already wrapped filming on the show and was apparently in the
00:37middle of filming a documentary titled The Global Odyssey when he had the accident.
00:42The new season of The Bachelorette premieres on May 19, and there's no word yet as to
00:46how the show will handle the tragedy.
