00:00Congratulations! You followed up your directorial debut with another massive
00:05action-packed film. Tell me a little bit about going behind the camera. What has
00:10that been like for you? A dream come true. I mean I grew up wanting to do this, tell
00:13stories through action and to get to work with Agbo and Netflix and this guy
00:18Chris Hemsworth is just an honor and privilege. I mean how many directors get
00:22to say that they've done that? Like both of my movies have been with such a great
00:25team of filmmakers. I feel honored beyond belief. I can't imagine and I know as a
00:31director you get right up in there in the nitty-gritty. How does your background
00:36allow you to do things like that? I think my background just provides me with a
00:40unique perspective on action and an ability to because I've seen so much and
00:45been involved with so much action through my career I can grab the camera and
00:48position myself where the good stuff's happening you know and I think part of
00:52that is the desire to have an immersive experience for the audience and to grab
00:58them by the shirt collar and rip them into the movie and say come on let's go on a ride.
01:02I think that's the point of view I like to bring to my filmmaking. Now that 21
01:06minute fight sequence how was it choreographing that? Was there anything that
01:10you were nervous was gonna go too far? You know we had the best Sun team in the
01:15business you know so many great minds so many great choreographers and action
01:19designers that they understand the ask which is all right we need you know this
01:23much and my job as the director is to curate all the best ideas right I learned
01:28from the Russo brothers that the best idea wins and it doesn't always come from me
01:32the filmmaker it comes from many different places so you want to I want to hire my
01:35team with the best people who are have greater minds than mine even and then they
01:40bring all the best ideas and I say that works that works because my job is to see
01:44the big picture and then to pick and be selective with the action that makes the
01:47most sense for the story and for the character so you know it's a bit of a
01:51collaborative effort that's what filmmaking is. And finally we're asking
01:56everyone tonight who do you think would win in a fight Thor or Tyler Rake? Well
02:01that really depends like if you took away Thor's hammer then I think you have a much
02:07more even fight and as a fan that's something I would love to see. Yeah well
