उत्तर प्रदेश के पीलीभीत ज़िले में उत्तराखंड सीमा से सटे नियोरिया क्षेत्र के बंगाली कॉलोनी गाँव में छोटे और सीमांत किसानों ने कम ज़मीन में कमाई का अनोखा मॉडल खड़ा कर दिया है।
यहाँ किसान पारंपरिक खेती के साथ-साथ खेत के छोटे से हिस्से में मशरूम की खेती कर रहे हैं।
इस ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट में हम आपको दिखाते हैं कि कैसे 45×20 फ़ीट के छप्परनुमा मशरूम हाउस में, अँधेरे के बीच, किसान सर्दियों के मौसम में रोज़ाना सैकड़ों पैकेट मशरूम बाज़ार तक पहुँचा रहे हैं।
इस मॉडल से न सिर्फ़ अतिरिक्त आमदनी हो रही है, बल्कि कम ज़मीन वाले किसानों के लिए यह एक प्रेरणादायक रास्ता भी बन रहा है।

In this ground report from Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh, near the Uttarakhand border, we explore a unique mushroom farming model adopted by small and marginal farmers in Neoria area’s Bengali Colony village.
Farmers here are using a very small portion of their land—just 45×20 feet—to grow mushrooms inside simple, dark shed-like structures. This seasonal farming model runs during winter and provides steady additional income alongside traditional agriculture.
Through an on-ground walkthrough, this report explains how mushroom cultivation is becoming a practical income solution for farmers with limited land.
