00:00You know the understanding in my village is that when we shoot rockets into the sky on Diwali night,

00:07their function is to throw light on the celestial highways,

00:11so that the souls of our ancestors who have come to watch the great fireworks,

00:17they can return home safely.

00:19And this can be quoted as understanding.

00:22This is criminal misuse of the word understanding.

00:25What is this? This is dead, dumb, dodo belief.

00:29That's what it is.

00:30But you will use the word understanding.

00:32You can very easily say I have understood everything.

00:35Whereas the fact is that you have just probably comprehended, interpreted and memorized.

00:42That's not understanding.
