00:00so this is the Lenovo all-in-one desktop it's the model type 101 60 and we'll be
00:15disassembling that first thing you'll see is a little pop-up panel here and two screws there
00:38that'll take the stand out see the stand here you can take a voltmeter to the adapter make sure that
01:02works and then right at the edge here you'll see two rubber stoppers there you just lift those and
01:26it'll be two screws one when you're here one under there and then you'll have to get a tool to I like
01:47to start at the end here I'm gonna get this open and I'll show you so you'll start hearing the clicks
02:02with the tool and go right along open it up then you can take the back panel and open it up
02:30this way cuz your video cable will bend that way now you have the display here
02:45and you'll want to check the
02:51motherboard first to make sure that's working good so we're gonna plug it in
03:09you're right back now the power will be right on the side you'll see a little white button and
03:33since the regular power switch is on the other side of this that won't work so just find the white
03:48button and when you press it you'll see the power light come on now you got your RAM let's see if we can
03:59hear that hard drive 500 gig Toshiba hard drive okay it's on you can also press the DVD player the lights will come on there as well
04:21you can do a power reset our problem here is the display doesn't come on so I've had a Dell before have this problem with these all-in-ones after five years or so
04:47they'll start to go on and off and then take forever to get on and the display eventually gives out
05:02you could try an external monitor through one of the side ports here
05:14also to hold the power button into to reset it I've tried that
05:32I've taken out the RAM and didn't hear no beeps or anything but sometimes on the older desktops you can or a laptop you can hear a tone
05:48without the RAM telling you to put it in put a memory chip in in there
05:59and this gets warm I think the processors okay I think this would work with an external
06:12you know to rule out the just display you just use a rule out the motherboard for any problems use an external memory
06:27so we hear the hard drive ticking
06:34so we hear the hard drive ticking
06:40also taken down to see the CMOS battery there I put a new one in
06:45so it's not that there's the Wi-Fi card and there's one two three four five six seven eight eight or nine screws take that motherboard off and
07:12and protection shield here that you would have to take off to see the other side of the motherboard
07:19and the video cable sometimes goes
07:31but
07:38you can get those on eBay or Amazon
07:42I don't think this is it I think the cables good
07:49you have one part that goes under this taped part
08:01and another part goes here
08:08it's that that power board
08:15and then you'll see to take the display off screws all the way around the side
08:23but
08:33the issue with the
08:36let's try to hold this power button in
08:38I've done this
08:39you can
08:40some videos out there that tell you how to reset it
08:44let's hold it in
08:48try to find it
08:53there it is
08:56for a couple seconds into the
09:02light shuts off
09:05and then you can take out the memory again
09:16hold that power button in
09:19for five seconds
09:24also
09:26take out the electric
09:28AC adapter connector there
09:32drain all the power from it
09:35and then try it again
09:38turn it on
09:40so I've done that a couple times
09:42that's
09:43not the problem
09:46with my case
09:48and there it is
