00:00We saw a disappointing game for the Kansas City Chiefs last week, highlighted by Travis Kelsey dropping a ball late.
00:07Is this the end? Travis Kelsey will retire after the season, buy or sell?
00:12You know, it's been a depressing week. I mentioned earlier Joe Burrow in that press conference he had on Wednesday, which was just sad.
00:20And then Travis Kelsey had the same thing, right? He's upset.
00:24What was it? Things weren't going his way. He didn't know what the problem was, that sort of thing.
00:30I do wonder, Craig, when you start thinking like that, if you're like, all right, I'm done, you know, and my time has come here.
00:37He's actually had a decent season. He still could play. He'd still be a top 10 tight end in fantasy, I think.
00:42He'll be closer to 10 than the 1, but I think he'll retire after the season.
00:47I wonder if he's going to want to go out this way with not making the playoffs, assuming once again that they don't make it.
00:51So I'm going to sell this. I'm going to say he doesn't, but I don't feel I wouldn't put any money on it.
00:59You know, it's more like a 60-40 thing here that I think he'll come back here.
01:03And I hope he – I want him to come back. It's Travis Kelsey.
01:06But also he loves lucrative outside opportunities. That podcast with his brother, he can do that.
01:11Right? Not to mention, you know, of course, if and when he's going to get married to Taylor Swift, so he may have other things on his mind.
01:17But I'll still sell this.
01:20Yeah, I'm going to buy it. Jason Kelsey retired a little early.
01:23Like, you could have seen Jason Kelsey come back and play another year or even two with the Eagles, but he just decided that that was the end.
01:29I think this is the same for Travis Kelsey.
01:31The one thing that I would add is that it wouldn't shock me to see him retire, George, and then un-retire and come back.
01:37That I could see.
01:39But the first half of next season, I think he's going to be a retired football player.
01:42All right, finally, Joe Burrow with some very poignant comments this week talking about he wants to make sure he's having fun to play football.
01:49I don't know what this had to do with or why it came out like this, but a story TBD, buy or sell Burrow will start for another team next season, not the Bengals.
02:01Buy or sell?
02:03Mike, what would it cost in talent draft picks, not to mention whatever salary cap would be hit to trade Joe Burrow?
02:10I mean, the Bengals wouldn't trade Hendrickson when they should have done it, all right?
02:14I mean, it's just idiotic how they treat their players.
02:17I understand you're not happy there.
02:19Then don't sign.
02:20It's pretty much that simple.
02:21I guess you could try and force your way out if you truly – I think he just had a bad day or whatever.
02:26Listen, he had the two interceptions there against Buffalo that, you know, he had a great game.
02:30Don't get me wrong here, but I understand.
02:32Tough.
02:33You lost the game here.
02:34Now you're at – you know, your chance for the playoffs are gone here.
02:36You got hurt, the turf toe, blah, blah, blah.
02:38Uh, no, this would be a self.
02:40I think he'll – I can't see the Bengals trading or anything else, and I don't think he retires either.
02:46So I think he'll be back next season with Cincinnati.
02:49Yes, I agree, and I think it'll be Cincinnati's decision, regardless of what Burrow does.
02:54I don't think Cincinnati is going to give him the get-out-of-jail-free card.
02:58This is a landscape-type changing player.
03:03He's not getting moved.
03:05I don't think this has anything to do with the Bengals.
03:06It didn't sound like it to me.
03:07It just sounded like internal to me.
03:09I think he is back with the Bengals next season.
03:11I think he's going to be back with the Bengals.
