00:00When you imagine a hypercar, you probably picture a gas-guzzling dragster.
00:07But what about a garbage-guzzling one?
00:09This is the GB110.
00:11What developer Bertone says is the first hypercar that will run on waste.
00:15The car's engine features 1,100 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 in just 2.7 seconds,
00:21with the hypercar topping out at a whopping 236 miles per hour.
00:25But the company says the real draw is that you can toss garbage into its fuel tank
00:29to power the futuristic-looking vehicle, with Bertone's CEO saying about it,
00:33quote,
00:34We recognize that plastic waste is a major environmental problem.
00:37We have committed to developing technologies that convert polycarbonate materials
00:41into renewable and sustainable fuels,
00:43something they are calling their cutting-edge advanced plastic-to-fuel technology,
00:47a new type of fuel, which is now being used in everything from transportation to aviation fuel,
00:52and, of course, their newest hypercar.
00:54The company is only releasing 33 of the vehicles,
00:56all to commemorate Bertone's 110th anniversary, hence the GB110 nomenclature.
