00:25Now, let's start with Selena Gomez who was interviewed by Amy Schumer for Interview Magazine.

00:29to talk about a variety of different topics.

00:32Selena spoke about her new beauty line, Rare, and said that she wants everybody to wear these products and feel great,

00:38but also understand that they don't need these products to feel beautiful.

00:42She's got 48 shades of foundation and made sure the line was completely organic and recyclable.

00:48I'm intrigued and I will have to check it out.

00:50Although, hopefully she doesn't come out with a self-tanner.

00:52I'm having bad Met Gala flashbacks.

00:54If you know, you know.

00:56But okay, Selena also opened up about her personal life becoming public and fearing fans' perceptions of her.

01:02She says she felt weak at times and felt like people were getting off on building her up just to tear her down.

01:08I lift things up and put them down.

01:10She didn't like how certain moments were driving a narrative in her life.

01:13Selena later mentions how she's happy she has some older fans now, especially after her latest album release.

01:19And she's happier than ever but doesn't really know why.

01:22But alright, to the juicy stuff.

01:26Selena says her intention was to never be in the tabloids and had a lot of issues with how her everyday life was being presented.

01:32She says the way the media has sometimes tried to explain things has made it sound really bad,

01:37and in reality there's nothing wrong with the fact that I needed to go away or that I fell in love.

01:42I had to start opening up because people were taking away my narrative and it was killing me.

01:46I'm so young and I'm going to keep changing and no one has the right to tell me how my life is going.

01:51I mean, I work in the media and she's right.

01:55Speaking of someone living her life and trying to help others in the meantime, Rihanna.

02:34and fans thought it sounded a little tone deaf.

02:37I worked for so long to like get it to the point it's at.

02:40I like renovated it for about a year.

02:42How blessed are we to be able to like a lot of people obviously in this time are, you know,

02:47I think about it all the time.

02:48Have a crappy situation, you know, and they look at us and obviously, you know, we've worked hard for where we're at.

02:57So it's like it's we can't feel bad for, you know, the things that we have.

03:01But I think just us taking that time to acknowledge that there are people who are struggling is important.

03:07And so we just send our love and our support to them.
