Tom Sandoval Says 1st Kiss With Raquel Was ‘Magnetic’ Amidst ‘Lack Of Intimacy’ With Ariana And Claims Ariana ‘Punched’ Him After He Initiated Split On Valentine’s Day

In Tom Sandoval's first interview since news broke that he cheated on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss, the reality star opened up about how he first came to kiss Raquel amidst issues in his relationship with Ariana.

00:03kicking today off with Tom Sandoval's first interview since news broke about his affair

00:08with Raquel Levis. The Banner Pump Rules star appeared on a new episode of Howie Mandel's

00:13The H3 Podcast and opened up about he and Raquel became intimate for the first time

00:18after developing a close friendship. After saying he tried to set her up with Tom Schwartz first,

00:23Tom said that after a few nights of hanging out, the two kissed outside of his house,

00:27calling the moment magnetic. He said the tryst began after his relationship with his girlfriend

00:32of nine years, Ariana Maddox, turned stale, telling Howie,

00:35we had been having our own lives. We had been together for nine years and we obviously had

00:41built a house and business together and everything. We were a brand and like many relationships,

00:46it became more of a best friend, family, sometimes roommates situation. There was a lot of ways

00:53where the relationship was just lacking intimacy and connection. He also claimed that he and Ariana

00:58spent most of their time apart but stayed together for brand purposes and around his 40th birthday,

01:03he felt like he, quote, needed to make a change to feel alive again. Tom said he was in a very dark

01:08place and yearning for a connection when his affair with Raquel began. Later, he claimed that he tried to

01:14break up with Ariana over Valentine's Day of this year, two weeks before news of his affair went public

01:19and she allegedly punched him. Tom told Howie after she calmed down, we started talking and a couple

01:26days later, I sat down and talked to her again and she was like, I'm not letting you leave me.

01:31You're going to have to force me out of this relationship. He said, I was like, I don't think

01:35I can be faithful in a relationship with you right now. Tom stuck to his claim that the pair were broken

01:40up when news about his affair went public and that Ariana was trying to convince him to not be broken up

01:46and, quote, fully in denial. Tom even alleged that Ariana asked him about fertilizing her eggs and

01:51starting a family together the same day that news about the affair broke. All in all, this interview
