00:00Rain, snow, and black ice are coming. Are you ready for tomorrow's slippery surprise?
00:05Rain and snow are sweeping across South Korea on the 11th.
00:09From the early morning, rain clouds are moving in from China's Shandong Peninsula.
00:13Most regions will see rain. But in places like eastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and the Gyeongsangbukdu
00:19Mountains, that rain could turn into snow. Gangwon province is in for heavy, wet snow,
00:25caused by warm east winds picking up moisture from the East Sea. This wet snow can get dangerously
00:31heavy, raising the risk of roof collapses on greenhouses and livestock sheds. From the night
00:37of the 11th to the morning of the 12th, snowfall could reach 1 to 3 centimeters per hour. Expect 3
00:43to 10 centimeters of snow in Gangwon's mountains and coasts. And while the temperatures might feel
00:49mild on the 11th, things take a turn fast. By the 12th, temps drop by up to 10 degree.
00:55With lows hitting minus 8 degree in some areas. And here's the real danger. Melted snow
01:00and rain could freeze overnight. So watch out for ice patches and black ice during the morning
01:05commute. So whether it's snow, rain, or invisible ice, get ready and stay safe out there.
