Transcript
00:00Hey guys, it's Brenton.
00:02Tune in to DC Universe on October 12th with Titans.
00:06Titans is a show that attempts to really delve into what these characters are going through emotionally
00:14and the reasons as to why Robin having just left Batman and left Gotham
00:20and starting a journey where he really needs to find out his own identity
00:26and he's looking for peace, I guess.
00:30He can't help but be consumed by the violence and the brutal way he was trained.
00:35I did undergo training. I trained with a few different martial arts guys.
00:39Nothing crazy, you know, just mainly just keeping fit, to be honest, you know.
00:44I learnt the Kali sticks for a little bit, a little bit of bow stuff
00:47and a little bit of hand-to-hand combat stuff, but I'm no badass. I'm no badass.
00:51Although our show is very different in tone to a lot of the comics,
00:56it doesn't really have that comedic, uplifting nature that the comic books do have
01:02and a lot of the comic book movies and TV series do have.
01:05It has a little bit of a darker edge, so it was very unique in its own.
01:09The writers had their own style and, you know, Geoff Johns and the creators
01:12had their own vision for our show.
01:15But, you know, I think we remain true to a lot of the comic book stories.
01:20And so, you know, we see him basically learning how to be a mentor,
01:24how to be a father figure and how to protect these people
01:28and getting it wrong often, you know.
01:31And it's kind of nice to see that because he has his own problems
01:34about how he was mentored by Bruce Wayne.
01:37It's nice to see Dick kind of getting the flip side of that
01:41and what that would be like and starts the journey of protecting them
01:44and helping them find what they're looking for as well.
01:50But I enjoyed it.
01:52I had to get him back there.
01:53I would love to ask him to ask,
01:54take a moment.
01:55And now I've met him and I've been the T you know,
01:57and I didn't get the T you know.
01:59You know.
02:00I knew he's best, but I was.
02:01I knew he was a guy.
02:02I knew he was a guy.
02:03I knew that he knew he was a guy.
02:05He was a guy.
02:07I knew he could do that.
02:08He was a guy.
02:09He was a guy.
02:10He was a guy.
02:11I knew how to play a fight.
02:12He was a guy.
