00:19I'm so excited. Tell me a little bit about what made you guys decide to get together and do this project.
00:24I had an idea, and I called her, and she said, that's a good idea, and then she took it from there. Go ahead.
00:31Amanda mentioned that she wanted to get women together to elevate women's voices in country and western music because country music raised us,
00:40and most of the high women are mothers to daughters, and we started thinking about country music right now,
00:45and the fact that there aren't enough women's voices representing us, and the fact that our little girls might not get a chance to get their heroes.
00:51I mean, the ones that they have to choose from are unbelievable, but there just aren't enough of us.
00:55So we want to put more women in country music on the radio, and we want to elevate the voices of women in country music equally with no competition.
01:01Love it so much. Now, some of your songs have political undertones, Sugar Tooth being one of them that I love.
01:06What about your songs that you will make together? Will they have kind of a, you know, movement behind them?
01:12Definitely a movement, but we shouldn't say too much right now, I don't think. I've been told.
01:16They're all based in love. They're all based in love, and they are all observational, and they're made with a sense of empathy.
01:25We want to be powerful. We want to influence young girls and show them that they can do this job in any job they want to do.
