00:00Thailand has been plunged into a fresh political crisis.

00:04After just three months in office, the country's Prime Minister dissolved the Thai Parliament.

00:09Anitin Charnviraku won the vote in September with the support of the main opposition People's

00:13Party in exchange for constitutional reform.

00:16They threatened to file a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister over the drafting

00:20of the new constitution.

00:22Anitin is already under scrutiny over his handling of massive flooding, the cost of

00:26living and the border dispute with Cambodia.

00:30The deadly fighting which rages on has displaced around 600,000 people, mostly in Thailand.

00:36This week's clashes are the deadliest since July, before US President Trump helped broker

00:40a ceasefire.
