00:22Let's kick this one off with some love lost. As TMZ reports, Dr. Dre's wife, Nicole Young,
00:27has filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage. The site says she filed out the
00:31paperwork on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
00:36And just in case you were wondering, no, there was no prenup.
00:41Moving on to Katy Perry now, because in a new interview with Sirius XM's CBC Radio 1,
00:47she reveals she nearly took her own life following her brief split from Orlando Bloom in 2017.
00:53Katy said, quote, I had broken up with my boyfriend, who is now my baby daddy-to-be,
00:58and then I was excited about flying high off the next record. But the validation did not make me
01:04high and so I crashed. The next record that Katy mentions here was her Witness album,
01:10which failed to meet expectations and marks a career setback for the singer. But Katy also shared
01:16how she made it through her struggles and said, quote, gratitude is probably the thing that saved my
01:21life because if I did not find that, I would have wallowed in my own sadness and probably just
01:27jumped. Now let's switch gears to hip-hop because Trippie Redd gave his thoughts on Nicki Minaj and
01:31Barb's are not happy about it. According to Trippie, Nicki quote, really fell off, aka isn't as good as
01:38she used to be. The unprompted opinion from Trippie has many on social media coming to Nicki's defense,
01:49yet the queen has not reacted herself. And speaking of Nicki, she recently went live with
01:546ix9ine and he compares himself to Chris Brown for some reason.
