00:00okay so I have to make a part three the install did work but I did run into a
00:10problem I'm gonna click on Outlook now and I'm wondering if it's because of the
00:21updates that are installed that this page shows up an error everything looks
00:34good here I did have it for a few days see how the mail is working and there it
00:51is this page is having a problem try coming back to it later wrong you could
01:01also open a new tab refresh this page so I got this one time before and we've
01:12already done this let's close it completely now the first thing I'm gonna
01:21do is go to the we're gonna uninstall it and reinstall it again
01:32Windows update I noticed I've been getting little icons that Windows updates are installing
01:47I want to stop that because everything's working fine everything was working fine
01:55so you can change that see three more important updates I just wanna I may do
02:05this later if I want to play around with it but let's change the settings instead of
02:12install updates never check for updates because if everything was working good and then you can go
02:30ahead and check for updates if you want to see if that's what the change was why the mail wasn't working
02:37so there's the change I'm not going to install these we're going to go right ahead
02:46control panel because there is another computer in the house and they have no problem for years using a
03:06edge programs on install the program you do have to have Microsoft edge shut off before you do this or it will tell you to shut it off
03:28so we're gonna uninstall it it's pretty fast
03:58gonna pause it and be right back so you guys don't have to watch all of this the green bars moving
04:17and just make sure Microsoft edge in the program programs disappears
04:47there it is gone once again I typed it in you got the enterprise install again
05:17should be a pretty quick install
05:22all within the minute I didn't have to pause long
05:29now in the past I have saved old files offline
05:55like sometimes if you were to go online to download Microsoft edge and it's the newest version
06:09it it may crash or however they want it you know to
06:16work on your computer so I like to have my own files that I've had before
06:24and you can get that by going into your downloads
06:29or punching it in just you know it'll probably take you to the download folder
06:36and you don't even realize that your computer did save an old version
06:43but you want to keep that version as long as it worked good for you
06:50so the reason I say delete it and download it again or open up the exe file I won't say download from the internet
07:02is because everything was working right and then in the lower corner
07:10little yellow download are complete do you wish to start your computer and I did
07:19and then first thing I did was check my outlook and that's when I got that error message
07:28so that's why we're gonna keep at this
07:33so this is the first time I'm trying it
07:36click on those little dots at the top
07:42if two tabs open I'll close
07:50I'll close the first one
07:54I want all the speed
07:56sign in
07:59yep you'll have to sign in again because we just deleted the old version
08:04enter the password
08:06stay signed in
08:11now let's see if we get that message again
08:14I'll be surprised
08:39okay so far so good
08:43once again this is with the new install of 86 enterprise
08:54enterprise 86x
08:58okay
09:05no error message
09:08looks good
09:19looks good
09:19now I'm gonna reboot
09:22I'll pause it
09:23and we'll see what happens
09:25if there's any problems or not
09:29this will shut right down now because I shut off the updates
09:39this is actually a macbook from 2006
09:46I have a snow leopard on one side
09:51of the hard drive
09:54it's usually faster for surfing
09:58and then I have a window seven on the other side
10:11I'm gonna go to the next side
10:22I'm gonna go to the next episode
10:25and I'm gonna mix it up
10:27over here
10:28it's usually faster
10:28it's easier to switch
10:29and I'm gonna go to the next episode
10:30now I'm gonna go to the next episode
10:32and I will speed it up
10:33this is just for the next episode
10:34I'm gonna do the next one
10:35that's the next episode
11:07If I had the time, I would go to that other computer where they've received thousands of emails in the draft over the years.
11:37It's only Windows 7.
11:42I'm wondering if I were to click on Check for Updates, if those last 40, 50 updates would still be there, and maybe that's the reason why they still have them.
11:53So keep in mind, I didn't get this off of online.
12:09This was my own Enterprise 86X 32-bit that I had in my download folder.
12:22Or maybe you'd want to put your version on a pen drive or a flash drive or whatever.
12:31Okay, let's check it out.
12:32I was just, I was going to send an email to myself.
12:55But that note would have popped up again.
13:02All right, so this is a shorter video.
13:04So just keep at it.
13:07And as I said, keep with the updates.
13:11Now I'm saying maybe you don't need those extra updates.
13:16Maybe that's the reason.
13:17As long as everything else works, I'm fine with stopping the updates.
13:23Or keep going until you see that Red X and then uninstall it and reinstall Microsoft Edge.
13:32Okay, thanks for watching the video.
13:35Take care.
